@@jeffreyzucker.6819 Jokic ant and luka have been there favs. They keep switching as they got knocked out. Just shows how people hate the Celtics and are delusionally picking the Mavs to win the finals now
Its ridiculous to see how people actually thought Mavs had a chance in this one.. (and to even predict them to sweep and win lmao). Celtics had a much better deeper roster, the finals was more or less decided (barring injuries) the moment Mavs drew up the Celtics. Mavs went through tougher opps is just lazy critique, Boston can only play who they have in front of em. And they dominated Mavs whenever they met in the regular szn too (with and without KP). You really can't discount this ring from Boston
Mavs in 6 unless Luka gets injured. Celtics always falter when forced to play iso ball in tight moments against good defenses, and Porzingas will be rusty. Mavs are hustling hard, Kyrie is fully committed to team ball now, and Luka is determined. That is dangerous!
I was about to put some money on the Mavs, but after watching this I am definitely increasing my bet! I know Casey's predictions track record. Last year he predicted the Mavs wouldn't even make the playoffs this year. This video practically solidiies tha Mavs championship 🙌
The most (regular seasons) losses by a champion graphic at 3:33 left out the 2022 warriors who were also 53-29, like the 2023 Nuggets. Which means until 2020, only 95 rockets and 06 heat lost 29 or more regular season games, whereas last 3 Champs did (21 bucks prorated for 10 games missing due to covid), which would be 4 in a row with mavs, so it wouldn't be so unusual for a champ with that many losses, it would be 4th year in a row of it!
6:16 I think a fairer assessment would be how many 1st-seed teams in the last 25 years won versus lost ONLY after reaching the finals, which in this case would 7-1
If you doesn't count last 2 regular season games, the Mavs is the better team after the trade deadline, and has been the best team in the playoffs too. Boston hasn't compited yet, they could struggle because of that. Mavs should be favourite.
6:42 I can’t agree with this take jayson Tatum and jaylen brown have all the pressure BECAUSE they’ve had so much experience and have yet to achieve the final goal already

His prediction is Celtics. Yeah, never seen him actually nail a prediction right tbh. Personally I'm with the Mavs. Sure on paper Celtics are the better team but if you look at the Mavs, were they actually picked to win a series in this year's playoffs? Against the clippers? Thunder? and Wolves? Also the Celtics rely too much on Iso ball and just pass it to whoever is free outside. Mavs are the quickest team to adjust to an opposing team's strategy and the Celtics are nothing new they haven't faced before. Elite perimeter defenders like Jrue and White? (Kawhi, PG, Lu Dort), Iso heavy volume scorers like Tatum and Brown (PG, Kawhi, Ant, Shai, Harden), stretch bigs like Porzingis, and Horford (Kat, Chet). All in all, lets see, this is gonna be a fun series to watch. Who's your pick guys?
Porzingis is a big question mark. Even before the last injury, he was a far cry from his Knicks days. After the injury I doubt he will be the 5th best player in the series
Well I don't agree with your final choice, I have to say as someone who watches a ton of NBA both on cable and RUclips, your commentaries are always the best. You do a great job of researching and your analysis is typically spot on. I think one thing you miss about this matchup is Tatum and browns insistence on driving to the bucket for easy in the paint scores. And, I think the bigs of Dallas are going to shut a lot of that down. This will certainly affect Boston's ability to score. I also think Dallas has a huge advantage in the coaching department. I think Derek White and Holiday may be the two major keys to a Boston win. If they don't play extremely well then I don't think they have a chance. I also think that this may be more than any other finals in history will have a huge focus on the refereeing.
I think the 7/25 stat misses a potentially important other factor from the infographic at 6:11. Out of #1 seed teams that made it to the finals, 7/8 won. If we’re trying to predict a future result from past results, then the prior information that Boston already didn’t get knocked out matters too. That said, I hope Dallas wins
It happens often in football. The team w a buy is asleep to start next round, then the other team who’s battle tested gets off to a quick start, and the better team can’t make up the deficit The Cs have basically cakewalked to the finals. There’s a 0% chance that the mavs pull a pacers and gift games away, especially w all time closers in Luka and Kai. I think if the mavs steal game 1 things do not bode well for the Cs, especially if they think they can play like the how they did in the first 3 rounds
Kyrie and Lively have been great in the playoffs. Small sample. However, +44 per 100 possession on/off between the two is tough to chock up to limited minutes.
8:28 I'll be back when Luka and the Mavs destroy the Celtics. They'll never recover from the whopping Luka will give them just like the Suns 2 years ago!
Dude, the Mavs are built to compensate for Luka's weaknesses perfectly and to exploit the pnr and lob threats with a sprinkle of catch and shoot 3s... It's built smartly. Boston has two players that gamble on threes whenever they're under pressure.

He is better than you ha ha Celtics destroying the Mavs
Wrong,wrong,wrong and wrong😂😂
sooo...hard to say, but which team did you say is going to be miserable in this video?
I think the 7/25 stat misses a potentially important other factor from the infographic at 6:11. Out of #1 seed teams that made it to the finals, 7/8 won. If we’re trying to predict a future result from past results, then the prior information that Boston already didn’t get knocked out matters too. That said, I hope Dallas wins
C's seem to find a way to lise important series the last few years...fingers crossed
It happens often in football. The team w a buy is asleep to start next round, then the other team who’s battle tested gets off to a quick start, and the better team can’t make up the deficit
The Cs have basically cakewalked to the finals. There’s a 0% chance that the mavs pull a pacers and gift games away, especially w all time closers in Luka and Kai. I think if the mavs steal game 1 things do not bode well for the Cs, especially if they think they can play like the how they did in the first 3 rounds
Oh, did KP learn how to post? I remember he wasn't doing it in the past.
He's most efficient post player in entire NBA for last two seasons
if tatum loses and he doesn't drop some insane like 40-8-8, bro going down as the biggest choker in nba history.
Kyrie and Lively have been great in the playoffs. Small sample. However, +44 per 100 possession on/off between the two is tough to chock up to limited minutes.
4:39 all the love and all KP CAN'T post up...never learned how to post up
8:28 I'll be back when Luka and the Mavs destroy the Celtics. They'll never recover from the whopping Luka will give them just like the Suns 2 years ago!
@@Kushagra.j you back yet?
It's like I've said, if Luka and Kylie can pop off early and Defense can lock people down mavs have a chance but Celtics just has a deeper bench
How many times since 2000 team with seed more than third had won finals? None, winners are always with seed #1-3
WE SKIPPIN THE AD WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️📢📢🔥🔥🔥
Dude, the Mavs are built to compensate for Luka's weaknesses perfectly and to exploit the pnr and lob threats with a sprinkle of catch and shoot 3s... It's built smartly. Boston has two players that gamble on threes whenever they're under pressure.
I respect your prediction. Mavs in 7.
I lost, yet I stand unashamed. Congrats, Casey.
