I have to thank you for solving my insomnia problem that kept me awake thru so many sleepless nights. Now all I do is listen to any one of your unbelievably boring videos and I'm sleeping in no time.
I actually have a lot of 1990 quarters since I do collect in bulks just to have in case a video pops up of something valuable. The biggest that I've noticed in the 90 quarters is how different every one of them is struck even in the same mint state. Also several are off center. Not sure which would be worth more.
I dont know much about the coin business but I have a 1990 D quarter where under the date there are visible numbers and obvious enough it caught my eye, I can't stress enough how obvious these numbers are , my question is this a common 1990 problem ? Or should I have this looked at? Or even mail it to you for your expertise? As a novice it seems to be very unique...thank you

I have a Denver set pack in red laced clear plastic. It's in immaculate condition except for some discoloration in the metal.

but the coin is circulated (non-MS).
Would you get it 3rd party graded?
I would like to join but I'm afraid I'd be missing out trying to get my collection straightened out first. What is the starting level? How much does it cost? What do I need to do or expect? Thanks!
I'll watch for them, but the majority of coins I find are really beat up if they're more than a couple years old. Even brand new coins have major dings/flaws on them - went through 20 rolls of nickels and every one was 2019P and I think I kept 2 for my book, even then marking it as needing an upgrade in condition.

July29 2019 1990P MS67 ProofLike NGC graded sold for $156.38 and 1990D MS67 NGC graded sold for $76.00 Neither had the + or CAC addition to grading but for those looking to add this year to their Quarter Collection, these are out there for a fraction of the higher auction sales. Timing&Location also factor into a sales price. Its possible to buy low and sell high.

Every time I’m ready to coinstar drop a batch of change, you give me another date to look for LOL! I’m very confused even after 2 years of the value of mint sets. Do people tear them apart to get one of the coins graded? It was helpful. Thanks

I found a 1990 quarter in my collection that weighs heavy at 5.71 grams which is heavier than any quarter I can find including the brand new 2022 quarters..the 1990 quarter also has a strong pronounced rim on the face (obverse) and also what appears to be a double mint mark P over D..which could explain why it's heavier and also why the obverse is so pronounced..thank you for your video and please respond to my comment if you have any insight on this..thank you.

Coins coming out of the Philly Mint never seem to have great condition. I have to wonder if either the pressure or the distance of travel of the dies have anything to do with it...
So is it just because it's a high grade? Or because it's a D over D? Is there any D over D reported? Would a D over D be worth more?

I come to find that if coins that dont come out of the mint in good shape and you find one in good grade it could be worth a lot of money
