The Jericho is a great pistol, I was in Israel training for a couple of months and used a very old one, all beat up, marked for the Philippines Police if I remember correctly, still worked good, even with no lubricant and cheap ammo. IWI makes great weapons for their warriors. Cheers!
Thanks IWI for bringing the Jericho back to the USA I just bought the Jericho 941 FS 45 Cal it's so accurate just beyond my comprehension of what it would be like.
I love this gun. I bought it about 3 months ago and have put about 5000 rounds through it. It runs like a dream. Very low recoil, easy to field strip and it just eats up any ammo I throw at it. The only downside is the lack of high capacity mags. I would definitely recommend this pistol.
The jericho will take magazines for the cz 75b including the 19 round ones. Look into mec gar magazines for the cz 75b if there are any larger magazines for it they should work in the jericho as well.

If your planning on moving to los angeles the price of the handgun is going to be the least of your worries. The laws there in regards to firearms are VERY restrictive.
I have the new one by iwi and the safety is nice on the frame as oppose to the slide mounted safety on my old one both are very accurate and have never had a issue with either of them great handguns and exceptional craftsman ship
I've seen that all pistols have problems, there's no perfect pistol out there. I bought both the Glock 19 gen 4 and the Jericho 941, I like them both. Machines fail, guns will fail at some point. What you should focus on is getting good at over coming problems and practicing in all conditions. Great video, shalom.
bought the polymer framed 941 back in July. good recoil, never had a ftf and can hit a milk bottle cap repeatedly at 20 yards. To ANYONE looking to get the best bang for your buck, get one. Save alot too if you go to buds guns, choose handguns, and look under other handguns. in store they say 550 to 650, I got mine for 470
most of the versions shown in this video are semi compact, the one at the very end in slow motion is full length. theyve also added rails to the new model and it makes it look slightly beefier, compared to the older ones which had no rail, so im sure it made them look longer and skinnier
Great video, it would be impressive IF the sand and mud were inside the gun and the operator made a quick cleaning with a shake of the gun; something that is needed in longer operations and real conditions. But anyway, IWI makes many of the best weapons on the world; My respect for them.
Have the older IMI Baby Eagle steel frame compact 9mm with the frame mounted safety. It's an excellent CZ clone and a great shooting pistol. I've never let anybody shoot it and they not immediately ask what I would take for it.

Got the Jericho 941PL 5 months ago, LOVE IT! It shot about as well as my tricked out Glock 34 worth three times as much. Traded my Glock 34 for something else. The Jericho is a duty gun but accurate enough for competition. Israel has more than its share of enemies and cannot afford anything but the best.
One thing with the testing... the magazine is left in the frame with the slide forward except for the water test. There is no way for anything to get to the internals of the Jericho. Ive seen other brands scooped through sand, mud, dirt, water, fine gravel with the mag. out and the slide locked back and would like to see that with the Jericho. I wouldnt call this extreme testing besides the water test.
Couple of words about my compact Jericho (9mm steel frame), since i bought this gun it always had some miss-fires or issues. When I go to the shooting range I usually spend 100 - 200 rounds and at least 2 or 3 rounds get stuck in the chamber, miss fire or double feed (every single time). I don't remember going once in the range and shooting without having at least one issue or two issues with this gun. In the begging I thought the gun was new and needed some time to get to the point when will work 100%. Since I bought this gun I put trough it probably 2800-3000 rounds and I still experiencing the same problem over and over again, I still have some rounds stuck once in awhile or double feed etc. I also have other guns and don't have any problems like this with them. I'm so disappointed with this gun and I don't trust this gun at all. I wasted $600 for this gun, I will get rid of it ASAP.
Then you should probably contact the company, and use the product's warranty. IWI, nor any other manufacturer are exempt from the occasional bad item making it through QC. Every single weapon manufacturer has sold at least one weapon that didn't work properly.
Because of weapons like the Jericho 941 that you can drop in the mud, sand or a multitude of other things. The accuracy and quality of workmanship. In my opinion has to be why Israel wins wars

I think I am sold on the Jericho 941 over the Glock 17 after watching various video's. Still have to get to the gun shop and compare in hand. Any idea's from anyone who may have both?
I use my 941 9mm for 2-gun matches. I have the steel frame version and it is really easy to shoot quickly and accurately thanks to the weight, excellent SA trigger pull, and low bore axis (for a hammer fired gun). I cannot recommend it more.

Bought one and liked it so much that I got the mid size . Very accurate and reliable. Israeli made guns are my favorite.
That mud was more like clay, which, in my mind, makes this more impressive.

I have a Jericho .45 steel pistol and absolutely love it. Very accurate and minimal recoil for a .45 and the pistol handles it well.
You are so lucky for having cal 45 pistol jericho. I have not seen yet a cal.45 pistol jericho since i started shooting in 1997.
