Agreed. But the deed is done and he will go free once again - so rehabilitation is really the smart thing to do from society's point of view. Not to kill again.

@@joshualamp2438 "Life" in Finland means "until further notice". No one stays in prison untill they die - if someone is that messed up and beyond repair that they cant be released, they are placed in a mental institute. This guy is not considered as dangerous as he gets to live in an open prison. He must have shown years of good behavior to be able to get there.
However if you go to prison in Finland you will have a hard time when you go back to civilian life. Harder to get a job for example. My friend has gone through it and it's brutal@@SK-nw4ig
