- Опубликовано: 13 июл 2024
- This is the 7th mission of the Allied YR Campaign, Brain Dead.
The last Allied Mission contains everything you need to make it more enjoyable. You start with a Soviet Base, you get an Allied Base and you can capture Yuri's Base. Yuri has a quite large base so you can mess around even more. Not a hard mission but a few things need to be done quickly.
All missions are played on Hard difficulty.

@@user-xp5rj8mz1i Ra2 hasn't been remastered.
Next Soviet
If we can deploy the full might of both the Allied and the Soviet Army, we may be able to capture all of Yuri's Bases and use it against him...
It's time for the Psychic Overlord to get Commanded and Conquered, Comrade- good hunting._
@24:30 SUPERB Comrade General!!!
We now have all three bases- Yuri Prime has no idea that he's about to be Commanded and Conquered...
All world leaders on his side and the entire world is counting on him
Still needs to mine for ore
In Red Alert defense commander needed resources where he was battling with Yuri, but than again the resources gives you credit not metal you would need to build your forces.
They couldn't send a MCV, how would they send a shipment of ore?
But it would make sense if they sent a bunch of credits along with the MCV. Like, 50k. Maybe 100k.
Yuri: can mind control anyone to do what he wants
Also Yuri: needs money and has to kidnap Bill Gates for money
😂
This is still my favorite game after all these years..
Same
Tiberian Sun was amzing too.
i was laughing so hard when yuri got pissed. and then he took over your vet prism and send it straight to the grinder. then you're like okay, fine, f this shit, let's nuke everything. LMAO 😂😂😂
Vet Battle Fortress, actually.
30:15
I do the same when the AI pìsses me off XD
Btw he could use chronosphere and kill Yuri clone before his prism was grinded.
Game: "How many superweapons do you want?"
TG: "Yes"
How much tech do you want?
tg: Yes
More is better.
Yuri doing weird flex by send the elite prism tank into the grinder.
23:12 Yuri be like: You destroyed half of my base, I'll destroy your ore refinery 😂💀
🤣
@@tsiripasthis was such a classic moment in the game. Laughed out loud. The rage was palpable!!
I can't wait for the Soviets and I can't wait for rexxy
Rexxy is the reason I love Soviet campaign so much.
I replayed the whole campaign just because of your videos. Your tips made the game more enjoyable.
That made me laugh so much Romanov laughing at Yuri 😂
If you see this comment, go back and watch the outro, it is pure gold.
Amused Romanov is the best Romanov. 😂
Yeah, absolutely amazing
Watching this mission really makes me wait impatiently for the last Mental Omega campaign missions to come out.
I remember playing this, and I’m pretty sure it was on Hard but it might not have been. Yuri will only use his superweapons on ground units, which meant that as long as I didn’t have any tanks, infantry, etc. I wouldn’t get blasted by the psychic dominator. I ended up building an allied MCV as fast as possible from the Soviet base, then just abandoned my chrono-ed base and just spammed kirovs and robot tanks. Didn’t have to worry about rebuilding at all
Its not hard to defend on the chrono-ed base. just have a soviet battle bunker ready to be deployed with a soviet barracks and boom you only need to worry about magnotron
For this mission I always made groups of 9 crazy Ivan IFV demolition cars and chronosphered them in to take out the super weapons.
I feel the really "whole" technology acquring should be also let spies infiltrate Yuri's barrack, war factory and battle lab.
23:57 that brute: nah, (epicly turns and run away)
1:00: "Alright, time to do what I do best: using enemy tech for our betterment. The world must be awed by our power and might."
Can't wait for the Soviet counterpart MIND GAMES in Romania!! 🇷🇴
If you look closely you can see that the multiple segments of Yuri's base all have different shades of purple, which can mean you are playing against multiple ai players at once here.
Wow
Headcanon: purple was the army he used the previous missions(PsiCorps for MO people lol), fuschia is his personal guard(ala Epsilon HQ)
Trick has been used multiple times in past missions, maybe even past games (but with the same colour-scheme)
Yuri Clone: Imma yoink that Veteran Prism Tank.
Yuri: Niicee, send it to the grinder.
Yuri Clone: okay boss.
tg: *watches it unfolds* FUUUU *breaks glass and sends the nukes and weather storm*
Yuri Clone: its a good day to die.
Since Yuri does not use superweapon until we build a radar, I would build a lot of Soviet MCV and war factories before a radar. Then once Allied MCV arrives, my base pops up really fast it is hilarious.
I usually limit myself to 2 more extra MCV just so I could pop out the Industrial and Nuclear reactor before the Allied units can deploy a base.
The lieutenant even knows when the universes will merge.
23:11 lmao :D
30:15 xD
I was kinda expecting you to put some spies in war factory + barracks + battle lab too... sad you didn't do that
You know there is trick to get Chrono Commando and Chrono Ivan. Build base in the island after you exhausted the gems, make sure to have both battle lab built. recruit Spy and Engineer and place Engineer bunched up in the island. If there's not any else your unit bunched up in map, Yuri will Dominate the Engineers and let it capture your base. and then you can infiltrate using Spy and get both OP unit. You can also get veterancy with it if you build barracks and war factory.
The glitch I think was patched in YR.
As for what I do, I chrono a Nighthawk with Spies and then Iron Curtain upon arriving so it can escape after dumping the spies.
As for the Superweapons, I chrono some Ivan IFVs after I hit it with a Nuke Missile. After that, I establish a foothold where the Dominator once stood, complete with an mcv.
@@joshuagabrielcatindig7607 The exploit you speak of involved an engineer, spy and the building owned by the same player and waypoints.
That indeed has been patched.
But AI MC-ing engineers to capture your own buildings then infiltrating them with your own spies while still owned by the enemy is more of an unintended consequence of a combination of features that are all intentional and not a bug.
@@CnCDune huh, so more opposum tactics.
Fitting for final mission. Now, NEXT!!! YR Soviet!
That war miner drop can destroy building :))))
23:10 I did not know that, that's actually kind of interesting.
10:05: "Genetic Mutator destroyed. Great job, Murmansk Fleet."
Lmao from Northen frozen sea to fight in Southern frozen sea.
"Understood commander, that was a close one. Stalingrad and Leningrad will continue the coastal bombardment of Yuri's base along the shore. My men are more than happy to finish the job. This is revenge for what Yuri did to the Primorsky Krai fleet and the people of Vladivostok!"
The lieutenant didn't fail us. He just made Yuri got overconfident and lost in the process. Also poor Yuri, he didn't get dessert that night xD
I always brought my MCV with the first Chronosphere to destroy Psychic Dominator alongside Prism Tanks, much easier to defend them with base defenses.
Well said, although she still needs to be reprimanded for showing weakness. *We must not show weakness in front of our enemies!*
@@michaelandreipalon359 especially in the ending of you know what I mean ;-)

"Yuri is not overpowered"
Yuri's AI: 27:50 30:15
And 29:15
Feel the burn when AI grind your elite Prism tank after it trash the entire outpost .
one of my favorite missions. i enjoyed building a huge base with dense shoreline defense before building te radar :)
Damn, you make these missions seem easy even on hard difficulty. That outro 😂😂
00:45 i dont think this is how triangulation works
11:18 Actually, I think there was a gimmick with Yuri‘s AI for this mission. If I can recall correctly, Yuri will target the shipyard and/or naval units first with the Psychic Dominator.
just use iron curtain on tanks he wants to controle
Legends say the cruise missiles at 20:52 are still flying to this day.
BIG LIKE BRO LOVE YOUR MASTER IN RA2 YURIS RE :D
He won't mind control a fly lol.
Oh man! Thank you for the videos 😊
RA2 announcer lady sounds so good and her saying something other than “new construction options” is so addicting lol
3:54 Gatling Tank range is too good imo. It should be the same range as garrisoned structures. Or it will lose HP the longer it fires.
11:20 Huh, I guess Yuri is owned by himself.
23:14 oops XD
Me playing this mission: at first, use three rounds of nuke/storm to take off dominator, then prism goes brrrr…. Then, add YR ConYard and build psychic detector to build three SW to kill off dominator. Now, I watch tg playing the mission while enjoying his play-style.
again great content. However if I were you, I'd try to infiltrate yuri's barracks/war factory/battle lab to make this mission 100% complete.
Did exactly that so my troops are stronger. I Sphered in a Nighthawk with a pair of Spies. After arriving, I use the Iron Curtain before I unload. This ensures the copter's survival. Be sure to chrono in when no Clones are nearby, those can detect Spies and thus crash your op.
You're amazing bro
I love this game, but as the science and science fiction nerd i am i have to say, that the end shouldn't be happening like this. When they traveled back in time before Yuri activated his Psychic Dominators they should've created a new timeline and the two timestrangs shouldn't merge^^
I was hopping you would use the Genetic mutator on slaves to spam Brutes but oh well...on to the Soviet campaign for more memes.
30:12 HAHA best moment. Really enjoy seeing your "reactions" to some of Yuri's plays. keep it coming
What a waste of an elite unit
took me a long time to get the upper map cleaned up from trees with tanks and use the space to make many factories so i can build fast the siege choppers, once the radar dish was done, i can build the soviet academy and build about 30 choppers , then fastly go and take out that psy. dominator before it can be used ... after that another 6-9 hour long play to prepare with all 3 techs [captured yuri c.y.] keep a few psy towers and send my own units to let them be captured so i can gain exp by killing them ... in the end i was 100% ready with all techs ...
of course i had to wait to get about 50k cash needed for them choppers ... before i can build the radar dish :)
afteral it was a long nice play :)
13:29: "Psychic Dominator completely obliterated. Clearing the beachheads, as ordered."
Needs more Apocalypse tanks.
I always moved the allied base to the island, cleared the trees to make a massive twin faction base, and chrono'd over apocalypse-prism tanks combined taskforces
Next - soviet mission. Cant wait for mission on easter island and the moon
If you deploy the allied MCV near its choro position, you can use grand canons and mirage tanks to destroy all the mag-tanks yuri sends
I can attest to this working well, paired with GIs in Bunkers and Prism Towers to mow anything that escapes the long and slow shots of the GCs.
3:24 Boom Boom Boom!!!
6:57 boom
Damn, I've learned a few things watching this again.
Apparently, making a foothold where the Bio Reactors are is much better than where the Dominator is/was. And you made capturing his vanguard's Yard relevant lol. That Conscript spam BM at the end tho hahahaha
Tho...nothing beats doing this yourself. I've discovered that a Nuke Strike followed by 2-4 Ivan IFVs CS'd in decimates the superweapons. Better still if you got at least one Ivan to plant bombs on top of the Ivan IFVs.
When I play this mission, I enjoy it for a good 90 minutes
Your dreadnought rockets seemed to fly off screen
36:46 "Careless Whisper music playing in the background"
Do not know if you ever check comments on older videos, just recently decided to play these classics again, and your tips on all the allied missions has helped me immensely. Thanks
Probably the easiest final mission in all of RA2 but also the most enjoyable.
Yea bc you didnt turn on the super weapons
First Like!!! and First Comment!!!
Thanks for the great work always, TG.
Everybody: Simping for Lady Dimitrescu in RE8
RA2 [YR]: I was here before you were born 36:45
What a collection of superweapons you have there 🤣🤣🤣
Boy, do I love doing moments like this, especially in Generals when it comes to a triple bombardment of enemy positions with Particle Cannons, Nuclear Missiles, and Scud Storms. The ChiComs, GLA, and rogue American forces never stood a slight chance...
TG, hope you could make one for Tiberian sun once you are done with RA2 Yuri but please continue your Heroes series
I always send legionaries to the right bottom of the map to deal with the dominator. It's a bit faster than waiting for the chronosphere
I never saw dreadnoughts missiles fly over the target and not turn to hit the target. sry my english XD great game!
They do that when the target is too far above the dreadnought. It's also apparent when attacking statues Yuri's island with dreadnoughts.
I forgot that both Yuri's(YR) and China's(Generals) machine gun vehicles are literally the same thing.
Gatling weaponry. OP and effective.
23:00 , that is why i hate magnetron
That wasn't even the intent of the AI, haha
That's right, Yuri could mastermind the entire Third World War, yet he couldn't figure out how to properly defend his Psychic Dominator. And now he is stuck in a chair inside a tin can for the rest of his life. Poor guy. Well, off to the next campaign, it's time to watch him get eaten by dinosaur...
This mission somehow managed to be even easier than the last Allied mission from the base game, though I guess it should be expected when you get 2 different faction MCVs just like that.
You have to give it to the AI, it sure does infuriate you sometimes, but it still presents almost no threat. Heck, this mission was easier then the second one in LA, at least there was some pressure there. The Soviet campaign is somewhat better in my opinion, not because of the difficulty but because we get to invade an island and go to the moon...
35:02: "Yuri doesn't exist... brilliant."
"Time travel is a pain, but in the end, I'll be more focused on... Multiversal calculations."
"Well, time to give Eva the sad news... and to ignore Tanya's pleas. Albert... commence the dismantling of *all* Chrono tech... For the Greater Good."
34:56: "It's over, isn't it?"
Yes sir, it is over. The 7th and 5th fleets further down have flattened Yuri's large naval base at the Ronne Ice Shelf. The rest of the major outpost in this frozen wasteland have been mopped up. Our men are gathering the prisoners, and are rounding up the stragglers. The day is won, sir. Victory, is ours.
What happened with that one Psychic Dominator that aimed at our nice sea scorpion?
11:28: "Please stay away from my mind, and my plan will work, I assure you."
epic final mission
23:15 Now that's really annoying and hillarious!! Hahahaha!!!!
If where you start is meant to be the southernmost tip of South America, and Yuri is on the Antarctic, then there is something seriously wrong with Westwood’s sense of scale 🤔
Bruh, did you see Sydney? Nothing is to scale or even remotely like their real world location.
Tbh they cant do maps bigger than this or it will be oversized. Also maybe its just meant to be an island near the shore of antarctica
@@redknight07_ yeah I wasn’t quite being serious here, but I did just do a quick search - the distance from Tierra Del Fuego (where you start) to Antarctica is about 600 miles. There’s no way you could represent that on a map in this game. I also picked up a fun fact in the process: ironically, in real life, military activity in Antarctica is banned.
@@lauraallard8999 yrah its banned, exactly why yuri escaped there
I always put 2 bunkers on either side just outside the wall- much better at defending, and eject and re-garrison the troops occasionally so they get their promotions.
There is another risky option however. And that is training siege choppers and deploy behind psychic dominator
This make me wanna install RA2 again!
The outro really got me bigtime
WHY BOTHER FUCKING HAVE AN OPENING WITH THAT SMUG WORDS, YURI
29:10: "Finally, my enemy has gone berserk and desperate!"
me doing this mission for the 1st time:
wtf ... whyyyy??
2nd time: aha! never build that radar dish before growing to max
3rd time:
[like 13 hours ingame still won't build that dish ... just gotta clean up the entire part of the north side of the map, clean every tree, build as many units as possible ... let yuri use his superweapons on them meanwhile trying to build fast the tech for the allied side with that mobile c.c. and then even trying to capture that yuri c.c.]
Now, waiting for Soviet mission especially the mission 6.
Repair shop is a super weapon. #changemymind
11:20 who was that too? Did he even have a chance, 12:27, Funny after all these years I realize we probably were never able to capture the order miner, Yuris, 21:06 missles confused?29:25 omg
Yuri: "iT wOn'T wOrK"
TG: uses chronosphere with 9 prism tanks to easily destroy the Psychic Dominator
Premier: HAHAHAHA
Magnetrons + Gattling Tanks are the best combinations to destroy everything
Their weakness are walls
what is with the dreadnought missiles going off course? XD
Came up with this strategy recently: Wait with building the radar until you established sea dominance over the explorable map. Build radar + soviet lab. Build Dreadnoughts and Siege Choppers. Dreadnoughts take out the genetic mutator plus Yuris air defense at the very right edge of the coast. Then the Siege Chopper can fly all the way down to the genetic mutator and take it out. Teleported forces are basically not needed. Also there is this glitch in this map where Dreadnought rockets can reach targets way out of the ordinary limit. Just love this game
Awsome ! Next : Soviet Campaign
You should sell allied mcv as soon as it warped in. You will get new mcv plus starting troops again.
Never tried that!
@@tsiripas Load game and try, some speedrunner did this because it gives a lot of money and troops, Just don't try to build anything or capture oil derrick and you'll get new troops I think.
Don't know if it works on hard or not.
I wanna see kikematamitos vs tg someday.
Hell Yeah!
15:07: "All available superweapons in the Allied and Soviet arsenals are now activated. Commencing Calamity Control"
("See what I did there, Jenkins, and yes, I'm inside your mind, haha!")
23:24: "Commencing Unity Protocol!"
28:46: "...Ladies and gentlemen, I think I'm a god."
Tg can you do a video on the best uses on mixing units from allies, soviet and yuri
💪👍👍👍 you're good player 👏
Can you do complete the yuri mission. All of yuri mission
The outro got me...🤣🤣🤣🤣
my c&c red alert 2 and yuri¨s revenge, always froze up when im playing, u know a way to fix it?
10:22: ("...I wonder if I should re-use either the Mammoth design or the Apocalypse design for BO9's benefit?")
30:15 Yuri Clone: that's a nice Elite Prism Tank you've got there. it would be a shame if I mind controlled it and sent it to the grinder.
I feel like the this final mission should have been more difficult or Yuri should have gotten a slight edge.
maybe give him a Soviet nuke a Soviet mind controlled army and construction yard. or a few more tech buildings. oil derricks, airport or machine shop.
and some elite troops in black colour, just like in the final Allied mission in vanilla RA2.
this was just too easy. and of course the Prism tank has always been overkill. the range of that thing is too much. Allies have a too powerful infantry and flexibility.
Soviets are slow but powerful tanks.
Yuri and his mind control technology is weird but awesome.
I hope EA does make a remastered version of this game.
maybe announce it this fall 2021 and release the game next year, summer 2022.
I would even pay $100 for that remastered version. I have been a huge C&C fan for almost 20 years now.
hell. my first C&C game on my first ever PC was RA2 Yuri's Revenge. back in 2003-2004.
