Elicia, I love your work! Podcast, youtube, book! Thank you! I'm going to Toronto next weekend with my husband for the first time. When we booked it he immediately goes "doesn't your friend live in Toronto??!!?!!" referring to you lolol 💓
my manifestation for this summer has been to go to like scandinavia somewhere, because I want to escape the summer heat here. Turns out, my actual friends are organizing an art residency in Denmark for the whole of July! Free stay, free food, I have to pay for the travel, but that's not too bad. And I also get to spend my birthday outside my country, which is what I wanted, and I get to do some cool art! I am so excited for the summer!!! 😁
If you want a little tip for reducing hangovers, take a magnesium pill and a multivitamin before bed, or even drink something with electrolytes in it. If you don't have anything like Gatorade, if you have pickles drink the brine!
Ouuu thank you!! honestly I’ve been thinking like why don’t I start drinking electrolytes or something before I go to sleep? 😂 I have liquid IV so I’ll try that!! I’ve never heard about taking magnesium/multivitamin, but I’m going to look into this. Maybe it would be good to take vitamin C as well as I feel like my immune system sometimes gets compromised with a little bit of alcohol 💀 thanks girl 🤍
My parents broke up too ( no divorce on our country). I just let myself cried a lot until I'm tired. Accept the changes and move on. I usually walk outside (thats my brain dump) while listening to music/podcast. And also, do a lot of hobbies!
Thank you for that Elicia ! we’re on the right track ❤ also I know you love house music so I have a house music mix on my channel if you wanna check it out 🫶 it’s great for cleaning the house or a work out 💪 I’m so happy you went on your first brand trip you were glowing as always !
I was deeply moved by your manifestation piece. To be honest, I feel like I've progressed beyond that stage. These days, it's more about coming to terms with what happened to me and acknowledging that it has led to beautiful things. Trigger warning: I was raped and sexually violated. It took me a long time to acknowledge and process this. I was in complete denial for years. But now, I realize that I turned down every blessing God sent me, and I believe that I can have them again, or that good things can happen, but I knew it was connected to my trauma and I didn't want any part of it. I know I might sound ungrateful, but I ask God, couldn't I have had good things in my life without going through so much pain and trauma? And then I feel like God is telling me that every beautiful thing is made from experiences we don't want. We create from what we don't want into things that we do want, and we have to be honest about how we got there to get it, to live it. It's such a difficult and painful process for me, but many people who have faced similar circumstances as me have gone on to do beautiful things, live fulfilling lives, and change the world. It's tough to own the experiences that have happened to me, to lead with that, and to live a life shaped by those experiences. My prayer is to be okay with my why. To be okay with it being the reason and to move on.
Lmfao I went to go check something my phone and had this playing in the background and the second I pick it up I just hear “I’m low key kinda dyslexic”💀💀 bitch me too lmfaooooo that was so funny
