MY GRANDMOTHER BARBARA PATTERSON INTRODUCED MR.JOHNNY BROWN TOO MY BROTHER AND MYSELF WHEN WE WERE YOUNG HE WAS A REAL NICE GUY AND A FANTASTIC TALENT I REMEMBER HE MADE US LAUGH WHEN WE MET HIM.
The only one who wised up and left Good times was John Amos, it hurt alot of peoples careers. He's so to talented, and when people saw him all they knew was Buffalo butt.
Just when you think Sammy couldn't get any cooler (not me!), he has the Chi-Lites performing one of their 'other' great tunes on his own show. Love this tune, sad as it is, and it's funny that it came on in the car today (ipod, not radio, but hey!) Cheers and thanks!
The Chi-lites had many more good songs, I liked some of the B-sides way more than their well known tunes. "Neighbors " rocked more than any of their popular songs. That song was heavy, and carried a harmonious message.
Johnny Brown so talented and classy.
My favorite group of all times💗
wow what a blast from the past. Thanks for this memory. look at those afros.
