Go for 77%…..
Tax unions to provide for all those on fixed income to help with the inflation they cause. Also hold them responsible for workmanship.
Crap Company
Guys just go for the $1 million dollar salary / year while your out striking.
Imagine this for a min. Boeing does not agree to a settlement and all 30k union employees are let go. I mean it could happen right. @ this point Boeing is so deep in a financial hole that it would not be to hard to just let go all the striking union employees, and start over. If you think about it Boeing is basically starting over now if they give in to the unions demands. So then what does Boeing have to lose. And if they did just fire the 30k of union workers it would send a clear message that striking a company of this size will become a risky move. Right now the union thinks they have Boeing were they want them but do they really what do you think. ??? Thanks
I hope this strike ends soon because a jerk of a contractor has been disrespecting a friend of mine there and his manager continues to push for delivery on his work. He’s been regretting to take that role prior to the strike occurring.
boeing needs to bend to union demands. its their job.
@@SamSitarthere has to be negotiations between two parties. I’m just saying.
@@SamSitarno, boeing needs to drop the unions
@@clarenceghammjr1326Boeing will fall apart if they drop the union. They'd have 0 skilled work. No one is coming to Boeing to get paid the same as burger flippers
Employee's pension was revoked "illegally" 10 years ago & the feds should look in to it.
Many companies are phasing out pensions. It's not a crime. The 401k is the most common retirement plan.
Why is it, when Boeing was on top of the world as far as profits and gains, during the 70's, 80's & 90's, the employees did have all the things they're asking for now, as far as pay and retirement benefits.
It is totally understand for higher wage but not for the problematic pension. In 1980's 50% of worker get pension but today only 8% get it and among this 90% are government employee. Socioeconomic changed, something need to afapt like female nowaday have only 1-2 children instead 3-4 as 1980
Soon boeing gonna be made in mexico
😂and loose its value and customers instantly. That's been on the table numerous times for years, and it's not an option. That's check mate.(bankruptcy).
S.C. couldn't build a decent jet. What makes you think Mexico can 😂. Get real
@@justmee9441 most of medical equipment manufacturers in CA which require extreme precision production lines moved to Mexico already in the past 2 years. Rethink. Just bc things were true in the past does not mean they are also true now. Mexico benefits the most from Biden Harris run government. Anything can happens. Wait till Harris for 8 more years, I bet Boeing gonna be made in Mexico.
@LemonHillSoccer 😆 a lot of people think, "Oh, it's just building airplanes." Bruh , building a/p takes practice. A LOT of practice and perfection is the goal. ZERO DEFECT is the goal here, bratha man😄😅👍First pass quality is key 🔑 👌🫡.
Carolinas, Seattle to expensive, almost a month now, February and march foreclosures are gonna be in full swing, I’d love to side with you but I’m scared of your planes and now flyer’s talking about sabotage during and after the strike
Bailey Locks
Go Union!!!
Wage Increase - Yes
Pension - No
As simple as that. The company is not responsible for your retirement. If The workers can save money for the strike, they can do the same for the retirement.
Then they can stay not building planes and watch their stock drop to 50.00
401ks are gambling your retirement
Boeing knows I know it and you damn sure know it
They can be if they want.
A similar company and biggest competition named Airbus still offers hourly workforce a pension.
They are not Richer than Boeing.
US 4(1)k is better than pension. It is suitable for long term retirement plan - higher responsible higher return. The pension is not mean generous - it just a 'postpone' sacrified low paid today for garuantee to defeated inflation tomorow.
@PatamaGomutbutra
But the 401k grows really slow in the safe fund.
It's a bit dangerous and unpredictable to gamble your retirement on the stock markets.
@@sourabh7137 well they could stay not building airplanes then
401Ks are gambling with your retirement because it's based on the stock market and you have no idea what's going to happen next when it crashes pensions only suck for companies because they try to do risky investments with them if they didn't do risky investments they're totally fine It's just greedy companies don't want to help their retired employees just like the same group of people who want to cut off social security greedy greedy greedy!
Hope the agreement will reach soon. The pension is not practical todays’retirement plan and it is only inevitable distinct not only for Boeing.
This comment makes no sense.
No the pensions not practical for people who are greedy with their companies! Pensions are totally practical for the people who put in the work to make them so much money!
If they don't want to put the pensions back then I guess they don't want to build planes that bad.....
@@andresmith9212 My rational is people live longer and more uncetainty - fast changing economy. How could we and the company survive for the fix benefit the rest of life? I would interest to learn your rational.
@@KingJT80I wonder if the union let all members vote in this issue. Do everyone not want go back to build the airplane- the national pride, only because they will not get pension.
@@PatamaGomutbutra they voted 96% to strike and 94% to reject the contract because it was a slap in the face.
So yeah Boeing isn't interested in anything but making money
Not safety not quality not engineering. Only money.
This is what Boeing gets for merging with
McDonald-Douglas 25+ yrs ago. They ran that company into the ground now they're doing with Boeing
Greedy strikers!!!
fire the ceo, he cant run a company
Boeing has a new CEO, Ortberg. Only been in for 1 month. Give him a break.
I'm sure he can. Running straight to the bank.🤪strike strike strike
Lets goooo
Let's go where? Without the Union workers, yall ain't going anywhere🙄😅🤣I agree bruh, enough of this, we need to get back to work.👊
government needs to impose terms to end the strike. move the money from boeing to the people who need it.
That’s the dumbest idea
Give us our Pension back good medical and a nice pay raise.
More vacation and more federal holidays
32 hour week and WFH
@@yami39 32 hr work week I wish.....best they could hope for is 4 day work week 4-10s

Crazy demands from a beat down company. You guys can’t build an airplane. Hope ba move soon.
