Hello! Suri fits everything except the pressure sensor. I was going to buy the oral B but it's not available anymore, can you please recommend another one? This is my first Etoothbrush. Is io3 better? Or similar?

The Pro 3 3500 is still sold through stores and online. Perhaps it is out of stock where you are looking.
But, the iO3 is a very good alternative option for sure. It would be my next pick after the Pro 3.

Not really linked to this vlog, but I'm torn between 2 brushes on amazon. A bargain price smart 7 and a 3 times the price io8 which is also on sale. Is it worth paying the extra? Thanks in advance

    Hello!
    Thanks for all your videos!
I have an Oral B Vitality 100, like 2.5 years old and now the battery just last like 4 days so I want to buy a new one.
I am between the Pro 3 3500 (55 euros) vs IO 6 (120), which one would you recommend? For me the cleaning experience is the most important, so that's why I also consider an IO thinking that the technology could be better, but idk...
Thanks for your advice & recommendation!! :)

I would go for the Pro 3 3500.
It is ultimately personal opinion, but I don't think the resulting clean from the iO Series is really any better.
The brushing sensation is a bit different, it's softer. However for 2 x the cost to buy the brush and 2 x the cost of brush heads I can't justify it.

Oral B battery eventually dies. Extremely difficult to replace, the product ends up as electronic waste.

I watched these videos to decide on the right toothbrush, but now I find myseld watching them even after I bought one just for fun lol.
I bought the Sonicare 4300. I'm wondering about the way you're supposed to use the brush. Almost everywhere online I read that you're just supposed to hold the brush on the teeth, but the manual says to still move the brush back and forth.
Another thing I'm confused about is the two minute timer. In the manual it says to spend each 30 seconds on one quadrants outer and inner part of the teeth. When you done that for two minutes, you're supposed to spent additional time brushing the middle chewing parts. I've never seen this explained that way online, people say to spent the 30 seconds on every part of the tooth and then it's done. Some instructional videos from Philips don't even mention the middle part, they just mention brushing the inner and outer part. I'm confused about what is the right way to do it.

It's great that you are taking a keen interest in looking after your teeth, oral health and in turn your body.
There are different opinions on the 'right' way to brush. Most now agree moving tooth to tooth and letting the brush do the work is the way to go. However many, including our dentists recommend a small circular motion too, but it's not essential.
Few recommend a back and forth motion. I think (I may be wrong) Sonicare's stance on this might have changed. They generally prefer tooth to tooth and that is what they advise in the instructions of most brushes. That manual is possibly a bit older and hasn't been updated. It's often good to get personalised advice from your dental professional.
In most instanced the tops/chewing/biting surfaces are brushes during the 30 seconds of each quadrant. So very roughly, 10 seconds or so on the outer, 10 seconds on the inner surfaces and 10 on the biting surfaces.
If you want to brush the biting surfaces after the inner and outer and brush for longer than 2 minutes, this is fine. Although we wouldn't advise brushing for more than 3 minutes twice a day generally speaking.

The rubberised side of my Oral B went black, bacteria of sorts. It should have been placed back in its charging mount!.. well anyway I tried bleach, oven cleaner a stanley knife eventually settling on a gentle touch with an angle grinder. Clean now!

Have an Oral-B IO 10 and a Sonicare toothbrush top of the range. Both of these two I use the app.
Suri toothbrush no app like the way it cleans before brushing I use the LED sanitizer.
Like the Suri toothbrush 🪥 so much going definitely going to sell the Oral-B iO 10 on ebay . Between the teeth and gum line first using a water flosser before using the Suri toothbrush i find the Suri toothbrush 🪥 outstanding had sensitive teeth that has all stopped, now 😳
    Plus great video

Thanks for sharing your experience with SURI, great to read. I know you are heavily invested and have tried a few, so it says something given you have been using top of the line models that cost considerably more than SURI. Also quite interesting you feel you can move away from using the apps. Or will the Sonicare remain for that?!

I bought the Suri, within a few months the paint coating was chipping off, suri replaced the brush and within 2 months of receiving the new brush the battery completely died. Waiting on my refund. Unfortunately would not buy again.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It is a shame to read this. We have several on long term test and haven't experienced the same issues yet. What do you think you will opt for in replacement?

Im confused. Why wouls you want to buy an electric toothbrush that just basically pulses rather than rotates surel the idea is to make life easier by not needing to turn the brush and move you hand like a manual toothbrush

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Месяц назад

Sonic brushes are proven to be effective. Some evidence to suggest rotating brushes are even better still but more research is ideally needed.
