I loved it. But I'm a retired dancer with roots in hometown community theater so of course I did. I can't stop singing the finale. Anyone with a heart for stage and theater will enjoy it. "We're theater people. We know how to turn cardboard into gold."
I was a PA on this movie. My absolute favorite part of the whole thing was finding out Jimmy Tatro talks in real life exactly how he talks in his movies 🤣
Yesss give me more give me more! every time you guys Upload multiple reviews a day I get so excited!.. I wait till night time, light a big fat L and watch them all! THE MORE THE MERRIER!!! 🎉
After seeing this in the Mystery Movie last month, I was like I could see this a cult classic especially with some of the jokes that Joseph talked about.
Im from the andirondacks. I was a queer theater kid; and am now a queer theater adult! This movie meant more to me than almost any other movie out there. It may not be my favorite, but my emotional attachment to it is huge
Loved this movie. So simple, less than two hours, never tried to be profound, so many great one liners and great characters. As a straight dude who loves theater, could definitely relate to that kids plot line
@@Rachel4momohe’s definitely a nepo baby and doesn’t seem to acknowledge that. But as far as nepo babies go he’s pretty talented. He was really good in this film and I watched him perform at the Kennedy Honours and he was amazing in that too. Hard to hate him when he makes a great film like this 😂
This movie sounds fun! I absolutely love Amy Sedaris and her type of humor. I will definitely catch this one even if her part is a bit limited. Thanks for the multiple uploads - you both are very appreciated!😊
This movie was largely a disappointment to me. Partly because expectations were raised by lots of sterling reviews. It was pleasant enough ... it held my interest for the most part. But it wasn't nearly has funny as I expected. And I didn't feel like there was enough character development, especially as to R-D and Amos. I'd give it an "okay" rating. Not a waste of time. But don't expect to get blown away or anything.

Probably won't see this, but I liked Ben in "The Politician" and his album "Sing to Me Instead" is great. Appreciate the movie review as usual!!
I would want to see "Hanukkah Massacre" over "Hanukkah Divorce."
This film was such a delight. Noah Galvin totally slayed.
"Amy Sedaris... Kardashian masks... 'which one of these kids brought brown liquor?'..."

I can’t with ben platt.
Not sure if it's for similar reasons as you but same. Something about him just...eww
Same. This movie does look really cute minus him.
@@tbam73 look it up. But for starters he’s a nepo baby & many of the things have to do with that
@@tbam73Regardless of his father, he has an amazing voice and I don’t get the backlash either.

I wasn't sure whether this would be funny or not. Thanks for the review! I'd like to see it now.

Fish Jelly Film Reviews !..Thanks Much !.......===
I just saw a screening in NYC and thought it was such a feel good movie. Just what I needed on a Saturday!
I got EXTREME Opening Nights vibes from this as well especially toward the end, glad Nick mentioned it! Our minds! 🤣
Perfect for musical theatre fans. Even my son who is a straight up serious actor could not appreciate it but his triple threat girlfriend raved. 😅
Those shirts are the s**t....Love it!
What was disappointing was the great song by Thelma Houston 'Don't Leave Me This Way' featured prominently in the trailer is not in the movie.
Great review as always ❤
This one looks really fun!
More movies should take Taviani’s influence, will check this out
The girl from The Bear
2 girls from The Bear are in it.

Theatre Camp = Awful film.
