Consider how the deep state operates. Fauci is a mass murderer who, through the years since I ran into him, has been promoted so far above his competency that he was very clearly nothing more than an ass kisser. Of every decision I know that he made, not a single one was either correct or even sensible. Why has this man not been prosecuted for using American money to finance GMO research in China?

I analyzed the deaths in northern Italy and came to the conclusion that covid-19 was a relatively harmless disease. There was a very narrow fatality window and we had treatment for even the worst cases. Why was the pharmaceutical industry allowed to force a GMO onto the people of the world as nothing more than a profit center?

Love Dr. Vinay Prasad and have been following him since I found him here on RUclips during the pandemic and he's not only brilliant, but he was one of the only voices of reason, that they couldn't cancel, even though they tried. If you're a science or medical nerd, his papers and other videos here are a great way to geek out and hyper focus for awhile and trust that you're getting info that's true, not just someone blowing smoke up your rear.

    • @seancushman
      @seancushman 5 месяцев назад

I agree with you and I also found him during the pandemic.
I also see this as another plus towards vetting Vivek.
I love Vivek's ideas on a lot of our issues and see him doing great things for the Country we love.
To be honest I can't think of one thing either has said ever I don't agree with.
Sadly today most people do not use that 3 pounds between their ears properly.
They haven't learned the Trivium and lack the ability to think critically.
I hear from people I forward videos to that has pertinent information and they say I'm not watching an hour or two long video...
We live in a country now that far too many people read one source on a subject and they know all they need to.
They believe if they have a degree they know what they are talking about unless it conflicts with their flawed theory or hypothesis.
Make sure your children can read and understand the Trivium and they can learn anything else on their own.
Without those two abilities they can only learn what someone else teaches them, this is what some in power fear most!

I think Vinay was wrong on Ivermectin and his fans wanted him to have a discussion with Heather Haying and/or Bret Weinstein about it, but he never addressed it and just believed the narrative and the unreliable papers about it.

To be clear, I say "wrong" but I just mean that I disagree. I actually wanted him to talk to Bret or Heather about it so I could hear both of them argue and come to a better understanding. It is possible he is right on that. I just wanted the discussion to happen.

What a great conversation! As a 4th year medical student I have unfortunately witnessed all of the problems these two gentlemen discussed in the video. It feels like I am in crazy town when I look around and see all the students blindly following every word they here from our school. No one thinks for themselves, or at least wont admit it openly. I was almost kicked out for speaking against the narrative on a couple occasions. It is very true that it can absolutely hurt your reputation and possibly career, which is why when most people are in $500K in debt, they choose to just stay silent. The testing/grades is also true. Medical school is still hard but honestly, college was harder because I had to make sure I got A's in my classes. Now that every test is pass/fail in medical school there is no incentive to dive deeper into the material, I just studied until I knew I would do good enough to pass. Now of course, this will change once I start residency because then its not about passing tests, its about what is best for patients. However, this further highlights the danger of having people who just blindly follow whatever is put out by the FDA, academies, etc because they aren't actually assessing anything for themselves.
To the point about patients not viewing doctors in high regard, I think there are many factors, but the main one is the fact that the patients are smarter today then they once were. 40 years ago, there was almost no way for a patient to know anything about medications, treatments, etc and therefore had to rely heavily on the doctor. Now days with the internet, a patient can know just as much as their doctor in a few hours on google and youtube. This makes the doctor, no longer the authority, but rather just a middle man/ gate keeper to what the patient probably already knows they have and what medication they likely need.

Great comment! Very insightful. Do you have a blog? If not, you should start a Substack. My family is in the medical field - one blindly & arrogantly following propaganda, & one with critical thinking skills who reviews source material especially regarding vaccines. He tells his adult patients his opinion, but won't speak publicly. It's sad speaking out will get you fired. Patients don't know that.
I have seen these physicians in person at their lectures, and recommend listening to them with an open mind, remembering that No one has been right 100% of the time: Dr. Pierre Kory, Dr. Peter McCullough, & Dr. Scott Atlas.

Vivek's discussion of the mentality of regulators is fascinating. I live in the Land of Upper-Middle-Level Government Managers (Montgomery County, MD) and will confirm that these people are not motivated by the kind of oversize greed that pushes their bosses to heights of wealth, power, and impunity. Rather, they are "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" folk. Solidly Democratic because that's the party of The People whom they profess to love, they are also paradoxically convinced of the stupidity of The People, and as if that weren't enough of a paradox, are usually the first and most vocal about decimating the education system to prevent the children of The People from learning anything about anything. The result is that they are sure (and it takes a real leap of faith to disagree with them) that the rank-and-file are in fact unable to make rational decisions, separate fiction from reality, vote intelligently, and basically do or create anything worth their while in spite of their lawn signs that profess a general love of everyone.

Thought this conversation was totally spell binding. I am 77; non medical woman (retired from the government); I loved this; both made points I never had not even thought of. We are killing the medical professional. Of course I got thru life with only a High School diploma; and a few college courses along the way. I could not even qualify for the job I held in the government (GS13 Budget Analyst), but I helped many of my coworkers. Stopped being impressed with those with a Masters and a Doctorate a long time ago. I love conversations like these. I also read a lot of medical studies. Common sense goes a long way today. I do not go to the doctor much; take no drugs, they just sort of want to find something all the time. Do a lot of expensive testing that can harm. I know how I will most likely die; basically from eating all the wrong stuff. But I do try to keep my immune system boosted. No Vax...

Exercising choice in a free-market economy has always required the consumer to educate themselves on the risks/rewards as well as the integrity of the vendor making and selling the product. It also requires the consumer to know we don't live in a perfect world and even government oversight of an industry needs to be taken with a grain of salt since we've seen how easily government officials can be corrupted and swayed through gifts, money, speaking fees, or corporate board seats.

I followed the advice of friends who heard the Frontline Doctors, who took a Naturopathic protocol. Some did take Ivermectin and another drug, and still have had better health than those who took the Jab.
My friends who took the Vaccine seem to have been left with long lasting health issues. I seemed to have fully recovered in rapid time.
Vivek, I believe, is more valuable by staying out of the Government Administration. He has liberty to educate the public, and still impact those who are in the Administration.
    Good work Vivek!

Inspirational talk. And your right. At now 60, I have learned you see doctors as simple technicians. They learned a few tricks, mostly prescribing drugs so they get a commission, and that's what they do, zero curiosity, zero initiative, zero creativity. All protocol.

Wow, what an interview. I always wondered about the relevance of the role of the FDA. I was really curious if the FDA was in the way of innovation and creating higher drug prices or are they very necessary for the health of the public. Learned a lot here.

What a brilliant discussion which boldly discusses the issues confronting education in medicine. Though not a medical Dr. but was surprised by the covid decisions taken by the United States.

Thalidomide was approved in Canada. I’m from the province of Newfoundland and we had a “thalidomide baby” in my home town. My mother used to babysit him. He’s a wonderful man. It’s very sad when these limb defects could have been prevented by doctors not prescribing this drug.

I really enjoy V.P. and you V.R... I think what might have started the reduced bravery of health care providers is all the law suits encountered since the 80s. Focus switched from 'what's best for this specific patient ' to how do we avoid another law suit. We have to do the same exact thing for every patient, following algorithms/ pathways reducing practioners' intellectual engagement in the cases.
