I've noticed the same, and I think the job inevitably does this to you. You start out think you're going to save the world and eventually reality comes crashing down. You see kids in crisis, parents in the grips of drugs and poverty, and you bust your ass finding solutions for them, calling food pantries, homeless shelters, getting gas cards or bus passes for parents with transportation issues, whatever. And then again and again you watch them not take advantage of the doors you've opened, or gobbling up resources without even a thank you, or you line up clothes and hygiene products they say they can't afford, and watch them blow their next paycheck on something completely wasteful and frivolous. Gradually your savior complex hardens into a shell of cynicism, and you take on a kind of contempt for your clients as a defense mechanism to keep your heart from shattering at the cesspool of shit the world can be.

20:08 wish I could comment photos…. The farm show grounds and AGR are both on my mail route (mail carrier USPS here) and I was granted access to the crime scene every single day since (obviously to a point), and I have a photo of the FBI standing on the roof from a couple days ago, more comfortable than most people do standing on level ground… It’s great. Ya know. They didnt even need snipers on the roof AT ALL. YOU HAVE A FULL FIELD OF VIEW OF THE ENTIRE ROOF IF YOU STAND A MERE 30 FEET BACK FROM THE BUILDING IN THE PARKING LOT! So all they needed was one man dedicated at the corner of the main lot at AGR where if you looked directly in front of you, you have the building the shooter used, and if you turn your head SLIGHTLY to the left, you could see the the entire stage. If you stand where I’m saying to stand (again… the photos I have of the scene would be awesome to have in the comments) then you have perfect side view of the building. Making it near impossible to go unseen if you were crooks.
Could you confirm that the supposed tree would block the view of the snipers in the background of the main livestream video ? The ones over the right shoulder of trump?

Tim's take on social workers is 100% correct.
Yes I worked in that field some and there is a strong I don’t give a fuck vibe to people who work in that area. A lot of its frustration because you learn the system rewards you for looking the other way and punishes you for trying to get involved. After a while you take the just collect a paycheck mentality.
I’d imagine people get in with good intentions but they’re only human. They get beaten down and realize they can’t make a difference. The problem is too much. Sad
Nah, it’s only true at the child and welfare state level. That is 25% at most of the social workers out there. anyone at the state level turn into this because bureaucracy stops you from doing your job. This take is a slap in the face to all the social workers working in non profits and private practice and NGOs etc. As well as the social workers at the state level who work in the preventative divisions and not the investigative divisions.
But yeah, let’s just keep being ignorant and making generalizations
@@TRod62 Total BS the system is systematically corrupt and set up to reward the lazy and crooked. Tim Dillon is my new favorite political pundit. Love this
Dillon is so on point with the social workers. I was an admin in the Philly school system. They literally could care less. IT was all about injecting themselves into the drama, asserting their authority, writing up reports and doing nothing to help. This was 15 years ago.
Great comment.
I believe the expression is "couldn't care less."
But great comment, spot on.
Lawd, Miss Dillon, you sho' do speak the truth 'bout them social workers. When I was helpin' at the school in Philly, it seemed they cared more 'bout stirrin' up trouble than helpin' them young'uns. All day long, writin' their reports and waggin' their fingers, but never liftin' a hand to truly help. It pains my heart, it do, 'cause them children, they need us, they need real care, not just folks lookin' to puff up their own chests. That was a time back, 'bout fifteen years ago, but it feels like nothin' much changed.

Go Birds!
I’m a former news reporter and that kid’s interview was the fakest thing I’ve ever seen. I used to cover the school districts and teens/young people don’t talk like that. “Kids these days you know.” What??! 👀

20:08 wish I could comment photos…. The farm show grounds and AGR are both on my mail route (mail carrier USPS here) and I was granted access to the crime scene every single day since (obviously to a point), and I have a photo of the FBI standing on the roof from a couple days ago, more comfortable than most people do standing on level ground…
It’s great.
