    Thank you for sharing multiple machine pumps. I really like how you explained the individual pieces. Clear and precise however I wish you showed how to take apart the panels to access that area first as many of us DIYers don’t know how to do that too. Overall very informative and clear and thank you for posting

    Thank you, I have decided to keep my older machines rather than buy new. Going to rebuild the washer and dryer. I feel the older machines are more reliable plus it is fun to do. Thank you

      I got rid of an old washer when my dryer kicked it just to have a new set , boy do I regret that my new washer has never washed as well even after servicing and has had many issues lesson learned for me I miss my old washer

    Great video for beginners! After removing a huge clog from the hose, leading from the tub to the electric drain pump, and cleaning out the inside of the pump itself, I tested the pumps voltage as instructed. It registered only 6 volts and the pump in the video registered 14 volts. Will my pump work properly or should it be replaced? Thanks!

    where are you looking? Is this the bottom? How do you take off the top? I can't move it, it is full of water!!!!

      do you have a wet/dry shop vac? if so, you can (check the owners' manual for your specific model for instructions) use it to suck the water out (you may have to empty the vac a few times)

    I took down the pump becuase there was no block on the hoses, and I can move the parts just fine. How can I do the continuity test to see what tge problem is? My washer is a whirlpool stacked one unit. Dryer on top and washer on bottom and has the popm you showed second

    I wish you wouldve shown HOW and where to find the hose. I have no idea where it is or how to open the washer to find it in the first place.

    If you have direct electric pump that works then why would it not pump ? Circuit board ?
