    Wow! This is fascinating!
Summary: the hoops measure change in motion.
The crystals, being pulled on by gravity, measure the static angle of your head in relation to gravity.
    What a fantastically designed system!

I have had BPPV for about 7 years after years of migraine headaches. First question, do you see correlation? Also would jogging dislodge crystal s as I have been a runner for many years. Thanks.

It's possible that you have something we call "cervicogenic vertigo", which can result from issues in your neck. As yes, running could potentially dislodge crystals.

Thanks for the explanation about movement vs. gravity with regards to the crystals. Very helpful

Ok, I watched all your videos about vertigo… thank you so much for this content… my problem is, I don’t have those eyes movements to do proper diagnosis, and I don’t have the dizziness when I take those positions… I’m just dizzy when I move when I’m standing / walking / bending… when I lay down, the vertigo goes away.… so I’m not sure what I have… is it possible to have BPPV but no eyes movements??

Based on what you just described, it doesn't sound like you have BPPV. I'd work with your doctor or an ENT to find the right diagnosis for your dizziness.

Sir what of someone has bppv in both ears, then how should one proceed with eplay (if posterior canal), which ear to start with? , what should be the time difference between eplay of ears??

Great question! I recommend starting by treating the more symptomatic side first, clearing it and then waiting 24 hours. After you recheck that side, if the vertigo is gone, then treat the other side. It can be challenging to treat both sides on the same day. I hope that helps!
