I've always wondered but I thought the upper and lower control arms were the same or atleast the upper? No?

Well a quick Google search and the lower is the same not the tubular upper 🤷‍♂️

Yes sir lower is the same the upper is not, the ball joint main bolt is thicker, calipers are the same as well, you might make the upper work with a 1500 ball joint
