My favorite part about this entire channel is how the Theorizer can sound like a complete neurotic wreck while discussing stuff like secret agent sheep.
I'm genuinely delirious for health reasons of late, but that only comes through in the videos in the form of a logic error. As for my neurotic presentation, it's actually just a funny byproduct of me trying to be excitable, but still quiet, because I can never be loud when recording LOL

my favorite thing abou your performance is you have this calm, directed madness in your voice. you almost sound angry or frustrated, but in that way where you control your anger, not the other way around. it's not manic, and that's exactly what makes it so compelling. i feel you play a little fast and loose with diagnosis, most of this concern is from how stigmatized and grossly misrepresented most mental illness conveyed to the masses. though it doesn't feel like malice coming from you.
anyway, you have talent in your voice work. that's the main thing i was trying to convey

as for the sequel, I guess it kinda does too, but not as much as the original.
In the first Hoodwinked, you could pause at pretty much any frame and you could make memes out of said frames

This gonna be the new Coraline with never ending theories isn't it? Honestly I'm not even mad if that is the case but holy shit I forgot about this movie I had this on DVD and would watch it a ton when I was like 7+. I never saw the sequel so hearing that there was mutated people turned frogs honestly freaked me out and made me question my entire childhood, anyway this theory makes a lot of sense and the line about focusing more on the hidden story that they forgot the actual story in the sequel made me laugh so hard.
Wai that movie existed, I thought it was just some sort of fucking fever dream I made up.
I wouldn't recommend watching the sequel unless you can put up with really bad lip syncing. Seriously they didn't even try to match the animation to the audio. It was HORRIBLE

Hoodwinked had some bad animation but the writing and humor was awesome great that you finally talked about it
I actually prefer the limited animation of the 90s-2000s over the modern smooth realistic movements of Disney animation or the smooth faux 2D of Sony animation, it just looks more satisfying to me.

The first time I noticed that when red falls out of the trolly car you can actually see the bunny get this really evil nasty look on his face. That's how I figured out he had something to do with the missing recipes but then after watching this I wonder if he got transmutated too and if he always has know veruscha. It is possible he was just the unlucky one who got blamed for everything in the first movie when in reality he was possibly just put up to everything by her?
I always loved hoodwinked, I think it’s so underrated. A lot of people hate on it for the bad animation, but the plot and characters are really funny and well thought out. The wolf is so funny to me lol I love his and Reds character.

I’ve seen both Hoodwinked movies back to back and I think the second film is pretty good if you watch it right after the first one
IVE waited so long for someone to do a theory on this movie. As a child, this movie creeped me out and I still can’t put my finger on it.
Uncanny animation
The first one didn't bother me, but there's a scene in the second movie that looks just like a video game, it's when Red is being chased by a giant down the beanstalk.
People talk about the Polar Express having weird animation too and I don't notice that either, so if that movie creeps you out too it's probably the same thing.
Ah yes, exactly what I expect from the Theorizer: digging through my subconscious to find the one film I’m least likely to have floating around in my psyche, and then uses the power of words and dramatic editing to make it the most relevant and engaging topic I’ve heard that day 😂
"What caused him to stop dancing" is in easy question, dancers do not have long careers it's hell on your legs and requires Peak physical condition.

I haven't watched the movie in years, and even still I occasionally get "red is blue" stuck in my head.
The second movie sadly lost the plot and is generally just a downgrade to the first one.

I watched Hoodwinked before I had glasses, and I’ll say it’s very easy to love this when you can’t see every tiny detail and just the broader strokes
I've only watched this movie when I was sick (because my mom said it would make me happy and would put it on) so with no exaggeration I actually thought it was a fever dream
i remember watching hoodwink decades back and the plot confused me the most because yeah it is re-telling of red riding hood, but how it went confused me when the plot went south real quick, man this movie was my fucking childhood moment!
I sincerely though flippers was being sarcastic in his vague remembering of the wolf, both knowing each other well but choosing not to remember that part of their lives
i'm excited because i watched the second hoodwinked first as a kid. then i watched the first as a young teen. the ONLY reason i watched these films is because i remembered patrick wharburton was in it and i used to absolutely LOVE his voice. he was my favorite voice actor at the time.

Thank you so much for bring attention to this classic, it’s been years since I’ve seen this and I used to watch it all the time along with some both well known and obscure films
I own this movie. Every time I watch it, I always have questions left unanswered. I like how they explain everything through flashbacks. I also like the fact that the bunny was presumed to be the villain of the movie. The fact you don't expect it's the bunny until the end, shows how good the movie is. I kind of like movies, we have to watch the sequel to explain the original. But the sequel, only raises more questions when watching the prequel. I do believe the frog is the True Villain of the movies. I do believe the Frog purposely misdirected the police so that they would have to work as a team to solve this crime, qualifying them to join his agency. And why would the Frog send red knowing she would be defeated only to have to finish the training, if it wasn't part of the plan. There's just so many potholes and questions, that a new movie was only constantly add more, and the answers wouldn't fill the holes, without making more. If you just watch the movie as a crime mystery, it's quite a good movie. But if you starts to dig deeper, the rabbit hole is bottomless. You'll just keep asking questions, and the answers really aren't there.
Ok, but have you noticed that Flipper and the other Frogs not only pretty much look, but sound and talk similar to the frogs from Meet the Robinsons. They wear almost identical clothing, have the same vibes, musically inclined. Is it possible that they are related or from the same species. Is hoodwinked meet the robinsons, but much later in the future. It seems as though the frogs in meet the robinsons have some possible "mafia" connections as this has been hinted at when they locked the mini hat in the trunk of the car. It is possible that Hoodwink takes place in a world much further in the future where now the frogs from Meet the Robinsons have now taken over and are one of the main groups running things.

I remember adamantly shouting at my parents about fever dream movies and how they existed. Took like ten years before I could find them all and prove how wrong my parents were about them being dreams of mine. Hoodwinked was one, I've watched Shorts and Zathura too but my sister was able to back me up on those. Somehow Spirited Away got on there and Nim's Island too, just because my parents wouldn't believe that there was a movie where the parents turned into pigs until my dad remembered Studio Ghibli is a thing. Love Hoodwinked, and honestly was pretty sure the sequel was a fever dream til now.
Nim’s Island! That’s another one. Every year I make at least two theories on these sorts of films. The Last Mimzy is one of my favourite ones to talk about.

I wonder what mysteries you could theorize on in that one, it's so chock full of sciency stuff like time travel, possibly dimensional rifts and quantum theory oh gosh it's so good!

Okay, hear me out. What if flippers IS rumplestultskin. It seems odd that he would use a stage name if the organization is supposed to pe secretive and for the elite. Unless he intended on using a stage name the entire time as a cover up. Flippers is the true villain

I originally heard the schnitzel song when I was very into prophunt, which is how I learnt about these movies.

My very vague recollection of this movie is interesting, I remember being a very little kid on an annual extended family reunion/campout. One of my aunts had a projector and a bunch of movies, and somehow set this up for all the kids to watch.
You almost rUiNeD my childhood love of Nicky Flippers, but it turns out, I am intrigued and want to learn more and to rewatch the movie(s)..
Finally, this beloved classic from my childhood gets light shined upon it once more!

I'm a mama of seven and I've seen every last children movie made in the last 30 years... Longer if you count me being a child. And I remember watching this for this first time being amazed at how different it was from everything else I've seen in a fairy tale. I really enjoyed this movie.
I think it's because it was independently made, and then picked up by a distributor later. It was purely a passion project

What would’ve been more matter is if Nikki flippers is actually Jack B. Nimble. Known at a young age to have a talent for jumping big candlesticks without any hassle, young Jack grows up and wants to try something new and slough off his title as a famous candlestick jumper. He tries dancing and finds he’s good at it. Honing this talent he becomes Flippers during the era of disco he is well known once more. Then Jack meets Verushka who wants him to try some of her treats. Seeing an opportunity to help someone he agrees to try some. One of them happens to be the super truffle that Verushka thinks she’s perfected and hoping it may help him with his performances. It doesn’t work and it goes awry. Jack mad at what happened to him blames Verushka thinking she did it on purpose and later finds a way to blackmail the sisters of the hood by the secrets he knows. Which lead to HEA agency to begin and later the hoodwinked movies.
Honestly I’d like a third movie where we find out the truth of the rumplestiltskin case, how Nikki met the wolf, and even more of their origins
