May be the western countries like US facing seirou sissue of child hunger need to watch this and adopt this style. Nothing beats a great vegetairan food like this.

Ye to bada tadka hai. Washing dal is not necessary since the Gram was peeled off then only u get dal. Same thing for rice also. The paadi husk which attracted pesticides or residuals of fertilizers removed/filtered and semi boiled or steamed rice. So, washing rice no need.

They were using vessels to store curry so not using them for rice seems to be a deliberate decision to make it easier to use it and store it. They are mixing it with stuff and quickly throwing it back . Just easier I guess
Jai Gurudev such big educational institution providing food shelter and knowledge but it needs a modern kitchen system like ISKCON has , which may require less manpower and better utilisation of fuel required for cooking.
I request the authorities to visit the #ISCON #AkshayaPatra kitchens and adopt certain modern safety equipments and scientific utensils and hygiene practices 🙏🏻, takes this yeoman service by the Siddaganga Mata a long way of decades of mamoth task of feeding and education to the poor 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The cooking process don't seem quite hygienic in my opinion. The way cooked food is being handled is also undesirable. However, I could see why proper hygiene procedures might be difficult to maintain due to the vast amount of food prepared. 😅
I wash or somebody washes is immaterial. You please see how Akshaya Patra foundation is washing all materials before they cook without hand touching. Take my suggestion positively. Please video of Akshaya Patra Foundation cooking.

What is basic hygiene to you ? I have seen this video completely and didn't notice anything like you mentioned.Have you ever witnessed preparing food in this scale? It's always easy to comment. If possible try serving food to atleast 2 needy ppl in your daily life.
And so much of shouting and talking while cooking food.. community kitchen should be modernized and state of the art machinery to be used to avoid chaos and manpower
This is an institution where in hundreds of students are residing in school or college. They are doing good job. Once I went personally and saw the things that are taking place. The rice dal oils vegitables are in noway inferior quality. The food is very taste. Good to pilgrimage temples where the preparation s are taking place. Just attend and take food without passing comments.I totally disagree with the comments passed.@@harshama828
Please don't anyone donate to this Siddhamath group because they are showing that they are providing quality food to the children there but I have seen it directly because I have seen it directly, so please don't donate to them. In the food to be given to the children, they are doing random processing because they are mixing the rice in the mission that uses big sand, cement, and gravel.

The vegetables are washed before cutting and used immediately from baskets to pans and cooking vessels.
