Wow! Just found you and this is amazing! I've just bought an LK150 machine and I will have to try and make myself one. Thank you for sharing this here.

How on earth do you get the mock rib edge not to curl into the shawl? I can't for the life of me to get it to flatten out even after blocking. THANK YOU. LOVE THIS TUTORIAL. :-)

I think it makes a big difference HOW you block it. I have a video about blocking (how to block your knitting), take a look, maybe it will help? :-)

Beautiful shawl. Thank you for sharing. What yarns and tension did you use?

+ballofwool1 Thank you very much! I have knitted this shawl in different tensions and with different yarn, so it is a bit difficult to answer your question. This shawl is knitted with one thread thin cashmere (2/28), on thread even thinner thread silk (2/60) and one thread ordinary hand knitting thread in merino wool. I don't remember which tension I used, but I counted 14-15 stitches per 10 centimeter when the shawl was finished.. I like the knit on the shawl to be quite loose, so I always knit a test piece first to check how I want it.
Hope that is answer enough for you... :-)
