I love to death how Tim is completely chill throughout the games and the bickering and everything else. He doesn't give a shit about winning, he's here to enjoy the game and his buddies. Besides, there's always _Wheel of Fortune!_
To those saying things like "Tim was manipulated" or something along those lines, tomorrow's episode clarifies things. We all knew this part of the board would upset a couple people, but something that makes that bit make sense happens just after the episode cut at the end of this episode.
It would be a shame of something terrible would happen to either Chugga or Jon that would somehow make Tim win. Yep. That would indeed, be a shame. A terrible shame that I wish to happen soon.

Jon manipulated Tim... sure cause Chugga wasn't trying to be just as selfish and say hey let me win by stopping Jon. It works both ways, Tim just is usually peaceful and kind while they both tried to trick him.
Why is Chugga calling Jon an ass for convincing Tim to not steal from him? Chugga's the one who purposefully tried to make Jon not get coins in that 2v2 mini-game!
not really. Emile was convincing Tim to get a star by stealing it from Jon. it was Jon that screwed Tim in not going for it. if Jon prevents them from getting winning this board and the next ones, then Emile and Tim both will know that they will have to hit Jon hard in Mario Party 5 which I would enjoy it so much as payback.
Benicthehedgehog yeah i was think that if tim steal a star from jon Chugga will win because he already have coin ans mario have happen so even if jon get mini game it will not really do anything because Chugga would have more coin.
***** I don't think Emile won 2 Mario Parties. Emile won MP1, Jon won MP2 and Tim won Mp3. Granted Emile collected more stars than Tim in MP3 but even Emile acknowledged that Tim won the most boards overall in MP3
It's a good thing Tim said he didn't care when Chugga accused Jon of manipulating Tim or else we might have to actually worry about how terrible it is that people are being competitive in a competitive game.
7:20 it's like that trope where there's an angel and a devil on a person's shoulder giving that person good and bad advice, except in this case they're both devils. Also, "He manipulated Tim into giving him the game!". Really Chugga? Like you wouldn't have had the highest chance of winning if Tim had listened to you?
So, I think Emile has a great strategy for Mario Medley, but he'd probably have more wins if he timed it better. And I love how Tim is slowly becoming the hinge for Emile or Jon's victory. Very devious.
So Jon's not allowed to try to win? Because Chugga's done the _exact_ same thing several times before: trying to convince someone to steal in a particular way to make him win.
"You should totally steal from Jon, I mean he has a star lead right? RIGHT!?" "Hrm.. Tim has 2 stars but so does Jon. I'm gonna steal from Jon!" "I don't want jon to win, so I'm stealing from him!" ~Chugga, everytime someone visits Boo.
Let's not forget Fortune Street. If I remember correctly, Chugga's victory on the Mario Stadium map was due to both his BS luck and guilt-tripping Tim to try rigging the game in his favor at the end. Yeah, Chugga is one hell of a massive hypocrite, ain't he?
You also have to think of the time where Jon basically took Tim's controller during that one game of Fortune Street so that "Tim" would do everything humanly possible to crash the market and make it so Chuggaa had to take another lap before going to the bank.
Proton Jon It was the one where you had like 3 instadeath spaces surrounding the bank, and Chuggaa got an incredibly lucky roll and missed them all. I think it was the second one that you guys uploaded? Tim didn't have a shot at winning, so it didn't matter what he did, so you instructed him to sell all of his stocks in all of the districts to try to crash the market and make him lose money so he wouldn't have $10,000. (it didn't work) It's a little foggy for me since it was over a year ago, but 3 other people seem like they remember it, haha. But I definitely would have done the same thing in that situation.
MadroxMonoxide777 I went back and looked, because I didn't remember taking Tim's controller at all. Ends up that's because I didn't. Not actually, anyways. I asked Tim to check two things for me because he had to sell stock because he landed on one of my properties and I was curious. I had him look at two of his stocks that Emile also had to see if they would drop enough to drop Emile down under the target limit. He checked, I saw they didn't and said "Nope, nothing Tim can do, it's over" and then Tim sells the stock that Emile asked him to sell instead of any of the ones that would affect him.
Jon is the MVP of Mario Party 4. That boy is too good. #teamjon Don't hate, he plays to win. Tim and Chugga have to match that intensity. Also it's not over yet, it really depends on who gets the mini game star. Chugga still has a chance to pull this out. Also going for coin star was the best move for Tim. Stealing the star from Jon would only allow Chugga to win, and not really benefit him at all. He doesn't have the mini game star or happening star, so coin star is his best bet for a chance at a bonus star.
I just noticed something genius. On the board there is that sliding green thing that tells you what direction the board is going. GENIUS!! LOVING TA LET'S PLAY!!!
Through careful manipulatons Jon has possibly set up a fifth win as Tim becomes the unwilling puppet and Emile calls him out. What will happen at the two minute warning? Find out in the exciting conclusion of Koopa's Seaside Soiree
Eh, Tim made the smart play(assuming nothing stupid). Jon has 4 stars. Chugga has 3+Coin. Mario has 1+Happening. Tim has 1. Minigame is unknown. If Tim stole a star from Jon, he'd have 2 and Chugga would have 4 endgame. No way Tim can get 2 more and have enough coins to win a tie. If he stole a star from Chugga, Jon wins the same way. Stealing coins, Tim has Coin Star, meaning he still needs 2 more stars, but he'll win ties and can afford things like Magic Lamps. Tim's still lost, but that's his best chance. Especially if something ridiculous happens, like trade stars or similar.
It's hilarious just how often the Star Space ends up right under a player. I'm surprised at how little its happened while TheRunawayGuys play, but I see it all the time when I play.
When Tim sings Tin Man brings back so many memories of Mario Party 7. My parents listen to alot of America in 2006 and I played Mario Party 7 that year.
Is it really so bad that Jon is sweeping the LP, guys? I personally want him to keep it going. Admittedly, it would also be cool if Tim pulled out a victory, but I am loving this winning streak.
About time Tim took a stand. when fucking chuggaa said, is "tim are you gonna help me here" i was so mad, so many boards (not in this particular game, but i mean fortune street, and other mp before) have gone to chuggaa's favor because he has literally used spineless tim to help him get the win, cause he alone isn't enough for john. However when john indirectly, or directly does the same, he doesn't shut up about john using the same sneaky tricks the bastard has used before to win. Seriously hope John sweeps this mario party, he's clearly the superior player. I hate Chuggaa in these run away guys videos, alone in his chuggaaconroy channel he's ok, but in this channel i'm with John all the way. So satisfying to read all of those Chuggaa fans butthurt rage about john.
I strongly agree with the Tim bit. I wish Tim wouldn't let the other two manipulate him all the time and not be afraid to attack them when needed. I don't know what he really wanted to do in this case, but if he secretly wanted to take away a star from Jon, it would have been nice for him to follow his heart instead of being "pushed around" by other people. Chuggaa and Jon may have this sort of game friendly rivalry, but Tim is free to join in on that too. =\
I love when Jon denies a strategic play or in any case, it's so hilarious because we all know he knew, Tim and Emile both know he knew, and even he knows he knew but he still denies it which is funny. I could only imagine his evil grin xD
Bias? I'm gonna guess the chugga hate? People (myself included) usually love chugga but when he becomes a massive hypocrite/takes the game way too competitive/does some guilt tripping, he gets unpopular. No one wants to listen to that. XD
You can still say Biased. Those who are massive chuggaa fans are going to be defending him here. Those who are massive Protonjon fans are going to do the same for Jon.
After watching this entire playthrough unfold, I no longer know if it is possible to have as wishy-washy luck as Jon. The things that have transpired through the past boards have been able to put me in a state of shock.
What people don't understand about Tim is that he is not a mean person. He doesn't thrive on screwing people over in video games. Tim wouldn't hurt a fly, so don't make him feel stupid by saying he made a dumb choice. It was his choice, get over it.
Clever move Jon, clever move. To me Emile's attitude of "I don't care who wins as long as it isn't Jon" is quite annoying. He should be playing to try and win, not purely to sabotage Jon
Wooo! Go Jon! Way to use the "force" on Tim like that. We cannot wait to see what excitement happens on the next episode of Drago- I mean, Mario Party. 4.
I wouldnt necessarily call that boo event moment manipulation, however it's certainly influencing Tim's decision and not letting him have his own personal sovereignty in the matter. I love whenever you guys do competitive multiplayer series-especially when it's Mario Party-but my only complaint is that there tends to be a lot of frequent "back-seating" or however you want to phrase it whenever someone has to make a pivotal decision, and at least in my opinion, things would be a lot more exciting if the player faced with that crucial choice made it based solely on their own logic without outside interference. With all that said though, I still thoroughly enjoy watching you guys play against each other in this chaotic, yet somewhat strategic kind of game.
To those saying Tim was tricked/manipulated. Remember that Tim came across the 'coin star' idea himself to go against the other two saying to steal a star. Jon, and even Emile to some extent, just agreed. Even if that was Jon's plan, he didn't push Tim into it, it was Tim's idea! Besides, WHY DO YOU ALL CARE SO MUCH? Mario party runs on the old Guerrero code of lie, cheat, and steal! This is how you play the game! You screw over the enemy and gain your victory, you don't just let other people have it to be nice. You know you wouldn't do that, because if you did, that would take ALL the fun and point out of Mario Party, or any game really.
I like how for my comments section, it's 8 people saying when they posted, but the earliest person for me just hoped somebody would land on Bowser. Good for you PADR21.
There's all these people fighting about who was in the right, Jon or Emile... and then there's me, sitting here, feeling sorry for Tim rather than getting angry.
Gotta love how everyone flips the proverbial shit whenever Jon or Chugga do anything that helps them. Anyone think that it would be MORE insulting to do bad moves on purpose and avoid good ones, implying that your opponent is of lesser skill and thus not only can you afford to go easy, but you feel a need to in order to keep things competitive? I mean, I know someone obviously going easy on me would piss me off more than if they did something that screwed me over.
when Jon asked Chugga if he knew what Jon was thinking because he didn't know what he was thinking about i expected Chugga to do his Bill Cosby impression
This gives me more of a reason to find Emile annoying... Whenever Emiles screws Jon out of something, Jon is over it in like a minute, but because Jon screwed Emile over winning he just goes on and on about it...
While I agree with you and don't like Chuggaa in general (he's the only TRG I'm not subbed to for several reasons), take into account how he's the baby of the team. Jon and Tim are years ahead in both age and _especially_ maturity.
Gunner193 Waaay off. Chugga is 4 years older than me, and I'm 20. That makes Emile 24. I know, it's surprising. Chugga has an early year birthday (April 8th I think? He mentions it this board) so he's already turned 24. Since this recording is old, he's 23 in it, but you know. Also Jon is turning 29 this year, but I think his birthday is later in the year. Jon was born in '85.
wow, nice referance to America on Tim's part there, and he just kepi it going, so i missed the actual commentary because i was singing along with him! ^.^
I'd love to see Tim's Boo House decision animated, where Tim is deciding what to do. Cue little shoulder-devil Emile trying to convince him to steal a star from Jon to prevent the sweep. Then cue little shoulder-devil Jon trying to convince him to steal from Emile because it would be funny. Then...the rest.
Ehh, Chugga was manipulating Tim to steal a star from Jon as well (so that he himself could win). I'm actually ok with Jon winning all the boards in Mario Party 4, but criticizing someone for doing something you yourself are doing (right at the same moment, too) is absolutely hypocritical.
That's my feelings on the subject. Criticizing Jon for influencing Tim at the time he was doing the same thing is self-serving. Look, I get Emile's competitiveness, but ... at times it shines so badly, like in this instance.
By the by guys. I love how we are saying Jon is such a manipulative jerk and Chugga is a saint in all of this. Let's look at this more closely shall we? By stealing coins, Tim can literally have a chance at 2 of the bonus stars. Meaning that he could get the coin star and though very unlikely, he could get the game star. This would give him 3 stars with a coin lead. By stealing a star from Jon, Tim would be out of the coin star and still will have a chance though very unlikely, to get the game star and thus will have 3 stars with less money. Thus by stealing coins, which was part of Jon's point, Tim stands a better chance of getting a better place in the game than stealing a star. Also Let's look at Chugga's and Jon's motives behind what they were saying to Tim. Chugga literally wanted to have Tim steal a star from Jon so that Chugga could win. Think about it, if Tim stole the star, Jon would have a chance at only one star, the game star. Chugga would have a chance at the game star and would be guaranteed the coin star. Since Chugga had 3 stars already, his chances to beat Jon would be astronomically high. Chugga also points out that he was aware that Jon wanted Chugga to not have the coin star meaning that Chugga was already aware that Tim would benefit more from stealing coins than stealing a star. Thus Chugga would have 4-5 stars at the end of the game. Jon would have 3-4 stars at the end of the game and Tim would have 2-3 stars at the game. This suggests that Chugga could still have lost but it is the highest chance of victory for him and not really for Tim. Jon's main focus was to not lose a star. Let's face it, whenever Tim gets boo, someone needs to say something to convince Tim to do something in their favor. Also, it would be nice if someone pointed out that Chugga was the first to try to start to manipulate Tim when he got to boo and even before then. Jon didn't say anything until literally Chugga started trying to persuade Tim to steal a star from Jon. If you were in Jon's position, would you just readily accept your star being taken? I didn't think so. The stars would be more like this Jon would have 4-5 stars at the end of the game Chugga would have 3-5 stars at the end of the game Tim would have 1-3 stars at the end of the game. (Depending on if tim can get +90) This also means that Tim would have the highest chance to gain second place if he stole coins rather than stars. As the other option would have reduced his chances to near 0. Thus I want to say that everyone who thought it was an idiotic move for tim to steal coins over stars, you need to think about the options first before you state that. Also, literally Chugga was just as bad if not worse at trying to get Tim to do something stop making him out to be an angel and Jon a devil. Everyone in this game is a devil, you have to be to get ahead.
Tim wants Jon to sweep. He hasn't been doing so well this game, and he did mention it would be funny. Also, did you see how hard he tried in Mario Medley? If Tim would have won, it would have been game over and Jon would sweep. He also could have felt bad for stealing a star, or just didn't want to be the determining factor on who wins.
I think Jon's plan already fell apart. The coin star is at 98, not 90, which means it will take even more coins (21 or higher) for Tim to take the Coin Star. If Tim stole a star from Chugga, at the end of the game Chugga would tie Jon for stars, making it up to coins between Chugga and Jon (which Jon has more of ATM). If Tim doesn't get the Coin Star, Chugga gets 5 stars alone at the end of the game, meaning this is gonna be pretty damn close. But the game is still up in the air at this point, all we need is for a convenient Bowser or Chance Time to shake things up.
I love how Chugga keeps on saying that Jon manipulated Tim into giving him the game, as though that wasn't what Chugga was attempting to do as well.
That's exactly how I feel. I almost preferred that they shut up and let Tim make his own decision without the influence there.
bbbrrritcold he can't help it, he'll be 12 forever
It's even funnier when revealed that he just helped Jon win because he thought it would be funny.
I love to death how Tim is completely chill throughout the games and the bickering and everything else. He doesn't give a shit about winning, he's here to enjoy the game and his buddies.
Besides, there's always _Wheel of Fortune!_
There's always Calibrary Cuff Paula Deen.
XellosNi You should've opened the way with the Fiesta Keys To The Garage instead...
I love TRG's Wheel of Fortune. Calibrary Cuff Paula Deen and

Oh god... it might just be a battle game or something that is completely whamish. Chuggaaconroy, the King of cliffhangers lolz.
Cedric Lunneborg Except that Tim stole from Mario
Oh Jon you tease.
tim helping jon. whatatwist
If Chugga plays to win, why shouldn't Jon?
It'd be hilarious to see Jon sweep everything after some of the luck he's had in previous games.
It would be a shame of something terrible would happen to either Chugga or Jon that would somehow make Tim win.
Yep. That would indeed, be a shame. A terrible shame that I wish to happen soon.
Oh totally.
I always wanted tim to win
Though after what happened with Mario Party 3, this is quite the twist of luck in Jon's favor and is still quite hilarious.
ZarosianCabbage Yeah but he won Mario party 2 and Tim only won one broad in mario party 1 and none in 2.
My cards tell me that Tim will win MP5. RIght now he's just building up karma so that everything works in his favor next round.
I love how Tim just gets lost in his own world halfway though these games :P
Half the time I'm wondering what he's singing. The other half I'm rooting for him.

I think that pretty much happened.
He misses it on the last board.
Were I Tim, I would have totally stolen a star and chosen "random" just to raise even more suspense.
That would have been hallarious!
I was hoping Tim would steal a star from chugga. Just to hear chugga scream. Yet again I'm evil.

Chugga might have won some boards if he didn't have this bizarre refusal to not buy Magic Lamps most of the time.
Spelled Jon
DekuSword sorry lol, i have a cousin who's name is John and i've seen more people who spell their name John, than Jon, so my apologies i guess...
YoManu Vega that's exactly how I feel
I love when Jon denies a strategic play or in any case, it's so hilarious because we all know he knew, Tim and Emile both know he knew, and even he knows he knew but he still denies it which is funny. I could only imagine his evil grin xD
The bias of TRG fanbase is hilarious.
Episodes like this brings it out big-time.
I kinda hope Jon wins because the butthurt would be glorious
Man... Jon is dominating the game... and he even used Tim to improve his chances of winning... We have to admit it: Jon is a brilliant mastermind...
After watching this entire playthrough unfold, I no longer know if it is possible to have as wishy-washy luck as Jon. The things that have transpired through the past boards have been able to put me in a state of shock.
lovin all these slow motions segments... they're great when you already watch at 0.5
What people don't understand about Tim is that he is not a mean person.
6:51 It did go through Jon's head! Waluigi is forevermore a mime!
Wooo!
"I wanna keep you from winning everything"
And then years later, in DS, Emile wins every fucking board.
I like how for my comments section, it's 8 people saying when they posted, but the earliest person for me just hoped somebody would land on Bowser. Good for you PADR21.
9:13 You're one to talk, Emile. :P
Tim too busy singing over talking for no reason with his head in the clouds to notice he's being played.
tim is just a nice guy in all of these episodes which is why he has trouble winning sometimes
Jon is always the culprit for slow-mo shenanigans.
Really. REALLY. YOU NEED ANOTHER EPISODE FOR ONE F$#@@$$% TURN.
Like how people are saying Jon Manipulated Tim when all he did was give him options. Emile was the one that tried to manipulate him.
when Jon asked Chugga if he knew what Jon was thinking because he didn't know what he was thinking about i expected Chugga to do his Bill Cosby impression
Jon has this in the bag! Unless a chance time happens!
6:51 That soccer ball might be a ghost.
I love how mad people get about people they don't know playing video games on the internet.
Oh yea, that is a good point, but isn't Jon only a few years older than Emile?
harvestmoon8109 AFAIK, Emile is 21, 22 _at most_. Jon is 28 for sure (he's 5 years older than me). That's almost a full decade of adulthood.
Oh ok.
Gunner193
Waaay off.
That was a good play getting Tim to take Emile's Coin Star Jon. :p
wow, nice referance to America on Tim's part there, and he just kepi it going, so i missed the actual commentary because i was singing along with him! ^.^
I feel so bad for Tim he is AWESOME I LOVE HIM (TRG show him more love D:)
All the salt!
I like how Chugga and Jon didn't notice Tim's foreshadowing.
I'd be really impressed if Jon actually managed to win EVERY single board in this game.
BRUH This board is so hectic I love it!
- " oooh , I see what you did jon "
- " what "
- " by him getting the coin star I can' beat you "
- " what , what "
lmao
I hope Jon wins every board. He's my favourite and it would hilarious to see one person win everything.
Jon played him like a fiddle. That's hilarious. And evil.
So deliciously evil.
Whenever I see the hosts say "Well, here's your Star!!" whenever you get a star, I imagine them screaming out "*STAR!!*" :D
Tim and that America groove!
*Scrolls Down* Wow some people really don't want Jon to win. He's just playing the game lol
Man, I don't remember people getting this pissy and every other comment saying it was boring when Emile was winning board after board in the past.
Thus
Chugga would have 4-5 stars at the end of the game.
Jon would have 3-4 stars at the end of the game
and Tim would have 2-3 stars at the game.
The stars would be more like this
Jon would have 4-5 stars at the end of the game
Chugga would have 3-5 stars at the end of the game
Tim would have 1-3 stars at the end of the game. (Depending on if tim can get +90)
This also means that Tim would have the highest chance to gain second place if he stole coins rather than stars.
The Chugga face at the end needs a grumpy face instead of his usual smile so as to fit Emile's mood in the videos
It's just the pissy, butthurt ones. I like Emile, Jon and Tim, but Jon sweeping all the boards is something I want beyond anything in this LP.
***** That would be pretty epic, I'm ok if he dosen't though as being able to secure an absolute victory so quickly is epic enough :)
good job tim. you gave jon his fifth win in a row
Jon always wanted a Futbol and now he's got it, IN HIS HEAD
Yea, this moment where the star appear under your feet... You want to be sick after that XD.
(Last few seconds of the video) Jon go get that star!
Jon: On it!
Excuse me, Jon wouldn't have swept if he had won Mario Medley because there's one more board after this one, but you know what I meant.
As long as Tim Doesn't exceed 100 coins, Emile has the Coin Star, because I recall him having 99 coins for only one turn early on.
But the game is still up in the air at this point, all we need is for a convenient Bowser or Chance Time to shake things up.
this is something i want to see animated
I gotta give tim credit for tolerating chugga's whining. He needs to learn when to drop it.
tim is too frikin nice
Haha jeez, Jon is truly a suave ass and a clever ass too! I love Jon, go Jon, he deserves this full game win still :D
