      @Raxy Angelo something like this heals on it’s on depending on the strain, it took a month for me to be heal and start playing soccer again, but I’m still not 100%, ice elevate and try your best to do some light stretches

    I think I have just a minor one. Happened when playing a game where you need to catch a ball fast and it flew over me so I did 180 and started acceralating as fast as possible

    As for RICE I am doing the rest part. But I don't have pain unless i get up and walk around so the other parts of RICE are not really necessary for me.

      @R F I pulled mine while playing soccer and I don’t wanna sit out my games cs we in playoffs and I’m one of the best players, I take ib profen before the game and it doesn’t hurt but I can feel it

      @@love_paradise4238 hi there. Funnily enough it was not a muscle strain even though it felt like one. Its normal. It signifies that your muscles are growing and legs becoming stronger. Just relax and and don't force it for a few days it will become better and heal. If not go and see a doctor.

    I climbed up on a table to recieve accupinture for my sore back and pain down my right leg. I heard a loud pop and then my nightmare began. I thad cramps in my hip and visible spasms. I couldn't move for 2 hours. Have been bedridden for 2 weeks now. Can now sit up but cant walk due to pain. Doing RICE. Have no insurance. Most painful thing to ever happen to me..... Will try to get to dr soon, but moving is a huge problem.

    Strained skating. It been a month and it aches all day and all nite...ibuprofen works somewhat...i need something stronger for the ache....its very tiring. I tossed and turned all nite in pain...I know - rest, ice, compression & elevaton

    This happened to me when I was running. Getting a pulled muscle is the worst injury that anyone could get. I’m probably never going to run again.

    Hi I sprained my quad around 3-4 weeks ago I was still doing small slow inclined walks on it and stretches and physio and swimming to try get it to recovery faster I then tried to run on it for 10 minutes last week and I feel I am back to week 2 on it but now almost a week later I am back to walking and hopping on it with no pain I just do not want to make it worse again or prolong any more recovery so I have stopped doing anything on it now is this worse for me or should I be trying stretches again I just don't want to make it
    worse I can move it without pain and walk and hop on it with no pain but once I start trying to do physio on it, it swells up a bit and starts hurting and it's the same if I walk on it for a medium period length does this mean it's not ready yet? Should I wait for the swelling to go down fully before trying physio? Or should I just leave it be I just don't know how far along I am away from being able to get back to inclines walks and running

      I’m not judging you personally, but physios should get keep themselves up to date with literature. Lifelong-learning is the key aspect for helping people in the best way.

      @@imsehbi7 and if you apply some logic you see that cellular activity slows down even when you put food in the fridge, so the same could be said about injuries once you start putting ice on it. Inflammation is just the body signalling where repair needs to occur, there’s no need to slow it down.

      @@imsehbi7 hard to say bc I don’t know the severity of your injury + I’m not a licensed doctor so I don’t wanna be sued haha. But one thing is for sure, in order for it to heal, it needs nutrients which are supplied by blood flow. So adequate blood flow to the area is important

      @@OK11_ I just walked around my house a bit until to exercise it and when I went to sleep I put a pillow underneath to elevate it, and I also used some pain relief creams on it before I slept
