    I've had debilitating pain in my knees for years now. I used to hike, climb mountains, and work out. Then I couldn't do a flight of stairs and went on to gain 50 lbs over 5 years. I went to physio, no help. I really gave up and thought that surgery might be the only option. I was doing a little online research. Found this video. Bought a massager. And now, 4 months on, I'm running again, doing yoga, losing weight. What a god sent. Thanks so much you guys!

I'm in my mid fifties and like a dumby; I do heavy front squats and dead lifts....I know not recommended at my age....I give my self plenty of recovery. I day a week I do dead lifts, then the next week front squats and alternate each week. I do famer carries about 1 or 2 times a week. I do full upper body training in between. I just ordered some knee compression sleeves for every day activities. I'm not going to do anything to exacerbate my knee. I just ordered the mini massage gun. Blessing to the both of you. I've had this for about 10 years are jarring both knee caps slipping down a 2" step in poor light. I was in agony for months.... couldn't stand still for too long and couldn't sit for too long and I have to drive a some long distances in my job. My doctor just said take some pain killers and rest it, it calmed down but never fully healed. Now I'm 58 and the ache and stiffness to bend is getting really bad again, doing a few bodyweight squats helps to relieve the stiffness but unfortunately the pain is always there and when bad it's transmitted up into my thighs. I'm sure it's a build up of scar tissue because it's never been treated properly.
    I have a massage gun so will be using the side technique as you instructed and hopefully that will help bring about the healing I need.

    I used a butter knife the round handle part and oil and scrap the scar tissue. My quad tendinitis is in the chronic phase so there’s not a can do to stop the pain but my method allows me to lessen it and maintain mobility. You essentially have to loosen up those adhesions. Otherwise that tendon starts to resemble a cold old rubber band, which leads to snap city my friends.

    Which massager are u using on the quadriceps tendon, in your video? Your $89.99 model? Or your $139.99 model? And, is your Amazon discount code good for all models? Btw...that discount code does NOT work. 😞

    I’ve had hip impingement surgery and hip avulsion fracture surgery back in 2021, I did some physical therapy but my rectus femoris still seems to be weak. I’ve tried laser therapy, cupping and scrapping but it only gives me a temporary relief. It hurts when I sprint and squat. Left leg feels 100% and my right leg feels 70%.

    • @User-yhdv-1xvnm-1vzks
      @User-yhdv-1xvnm-1vzks Год назад

      Yes.This video is for Quadriceps Tendinosis only.😊
      *Note: "Tendonitis" means inflammation of tendon in acute condition (recent injury) And,
      Tendinosis is the Cronic condition (which is from a long time. An injury in the tendon which is persisting and reuccring)
      So in this video Bob and Brad is exactly addressing that issue😊
      Thank you.

    I’m in week 5 of ACL reconstruction surgery recovery and developed tendinitis in my quadricep on the affected leg, gotta say it hurts pretty bad whenever I move, feels like a sharp rip.

      The tendon is getting stronger. That's normal, especially after injuries because it got weaker. I've did bodybuilding for quite a few years and now i switched to football. My quad tendon hurts like hell sometimes, especially after long training sessions. Because i never did those moves. I'm used to squat heavy and do classic bodybuilding exercises, but never did quick change of directions. Just let it rest and work on it

    I had minor tendonitis, went to pt just to get myself ready for a 5k. Two Mondays ago, pt had me do a quad stretch, squats etc. I’ve been limping ever since. I think I strained my quad. I have a tense feeling in my knee, had swelling, felt like bruising around my knee. Had an MRI, said minimal tendonitis. So I really think everything is caused by this quad. How long do you limp with a strain. It’s been two weeks and two days

    I have tendonitis in my back thighs and my physical therapist, who specializes in sports injuries of the lower body, said that tendons dont like massage and I need to increase the threshold at which my tendons start to hurt. I have tried taking breaks from running, massaging with foam roller, putting on cold with raised legs. Nothing has worked for me and I've had this pain for a year already.

      Spendvwith both feet about 2 t 3 feet from Wall and using your arm then lean your hip towards the wall stretching the hip am and piriformis along w glutes that eventually starts to heal the IT band. ThE IT is a tough tendon that probably doesn't stretch muchbwhichbis why we need to stretch massage the muscles attached to it from the hips glutes to the knee. I tried this the the first at wirk last night and I felt relief. Keep doing this w massage ice and and warmth in between and we'll be better til its ALL GONE!! 🙏🙋❤😊
