    Just bought myself one this week and got a few flights on it. I agree, its an awesome wing and super fun yet still easy to manage. So nice.

    My new main wing in the 18, I love the launch - so easy, rips round nice but is nice and chill if you want a hands off break. I wish the brake handles were a tiny bit bigger to get your hands fully through to hold higher up towards the line attatchments. lovely stuff

    Thanks for the insight on the driftair, could you please review the Hadron 3 and compare the two? I'm in between those two

    I have the sister wing to this, the ReportAir. She tracks like she's on rails and has incredible XC efficiency. Nowhere near as spinny as this, and she's heavy as hell, so nil wind launches are a pain, but that weight lends itself well to cutting through heavy turbulence.
    I love the risers on Dudek wings so much, I duplicated the split-tipsteer setup on my ozone wing by adding an intermediary line between the independent tip steer line and my main brake toggles. So nice since I can use either dedicated tip steer when trimmed out, or tip and brake when trimmed in. Adds safety too since you don't have the chance of accidently pulling brake while trimmed out on reflex and collapsing the wing when you have independent tip toggles.

    Started with the roadster 3 and loved that wing. I switched to the Kona 2 so I could gain a few more minutes of flight time with my electric SP140. It accomplished that but I do miss the better handling and the reflex of the Roadster3 … People talk about the most efficient wing but that can mean so many things. What wing would you recommend for someone like me who wants the most flight time in the air as possible with a electric SP140?

    • @michaelbartlett1589
      @michaelbartlett1589 Год назад

      @@TrevorSteele1 50 ish hours on a PPG and about 100 on PPC. That being said what is your recommendation for me and for someone with a million flight hours.

    Hey.. i cant understand why so many of american pilots dont use pk or power attack system for normal flying.. it helps with bleeding off energy or even adding it from flying straight to high g corners. I think euro style of flying is ever so slightly different

    • @Hyperious_in_the_air
      @Hyperious_in_the_air Год назад +2

      IMO it's more about reducing complexity. I can get 99% of what I want out of a wing just using trims alone, so adding bar is a bit unnecessary and adds danger, especially trimmed out. Other than free flying most US pilots I talk to just don't have a use case for speedbar since slalom racing and extreme acro isn't as popular here, especially since the US community tends to focus more on XC and adventure flying with some medium acro.
