Missed this when it first came out, but watching you rivet the panels on Vinny has given me a wonderful idea for our van! Keep up the good work. We're enjoying watching your updates! 😀
What a lovely fun video! You two are always so good together and it's lovely to see. The addition of the two farm dogs made it one happy family! Thank you x
LOVE that your closest town is Wairoa!! Lots of family history there, for such a tiny place, so many ppl have ancestors from there! And if you havent discovered it already, Oslers is the bestest yummiest food shop! (My nanas cousins started it or something like that!)
Hey! What fun that it goes forward depending on the circumstances a tip when you drill with smaller drills that go off sometimes insert them further into the chuck it does not matter that the spiral on the drill in the chuck just take out as far as you need in length of the drill then they last longer . hug Anders
I admire your patience and sense of humour. Also, love Jo(e). What a sweetheart. The "naughty one" is also pretty adorable. Thanks for the views of NZ. It is beautiful even with the wind. Showing the map provides perspective, too. Thank you. Lastly, I thought Buddy Ebsen passed away. Good impersonation.
Bubbling crude and a bleeding gale, still it keeps the bugs away.Good to see the progress on Vinny. You know come summer you're going to have to help Hayden on his projects to pay back for his help .Thinking about it it could be fun for both and make some neat vlogs . Great vlog Karen .Don't get blown away ,stay safe, regards to Hayden Cheers from Canada
Well Karen. That was a pretty difficult task. Those corners were definitely in need or both of your attention (a bit like that dog of yours!!!) so it looks like they'll be waterproof and should last. Interesting little project. Oh BTW> Thanks for showing us the area, that's half the interest in your vids..your surrounds.
Wairoa has Riverside Motor Camp I have stayed there twice on my two trips too NZ and loved it. I love the Coast line (SH35) from Coromandel to Napier. I think it will be a while until travel from the UK to NZ is allowed so thank-you for the great videos.
Sealant comes in many forms and I'm a fan of it, especially when it comes to glazing on my allotment. It is also pleasing that I make just as much mess as you do Karen, but it soon wipes off.
hi there, can you please tell me the nail gun you are using. I have a classic caravan nd i need to make some repairs and add shelving in cabinets etc. that looks like the perfect tool for me to use!
Our garden time is ending in the US Midwest. Yours is just beginning. Hope your plants thrive this year. Our OrsonDog says Woof to the Farm doggies. Gloria 🐂
Yip sure can be windy up there. It snows too. Cold place in winter. I'm liking Jed . He suits the character. Now theres Mah,Pah and son . The Clampett family. Beverly hillbillies
Gordon Bennet - that was a bit windy🌪 I want to know more about the story of a man named Ged, please?😂 Summer is on its way. Imagine all the wonderful things you’ll all get done! Yippee!!!👊👊👊
HIIII THERE. So yoy not replacing the whole floor ? Or only parts of it like playing Tetris???? I look at what you doing cause i got a trailer all mess up to looks fun to fix it , by looking at you video and you doing it makes me think like i got this 😆
I am sure you have had many moments of regret in taking on this caravan restoration but like many RUclipsrs you need to have a project like this in order to have something to post on line
luv that typical heeler, while ya not doin anything, i could use a pat! boo-za was the same. tip-pee was a X heeler, bit different, but similar. nice work on vinny you 2! keep up the good work. stay safe an well eh!
Small drill bits are more fragile than larger drill bits. Top tip. Faster speeds on the drill for smaller drill bits, slower for larger drill bits. Less pressure on the smaller drill bits and you'll have it in the bag.
how i love this channel new friend here and iam just getting a camper ready to get on the road i love to meet others that are doing it i also have a channel

Thank you Jo! That's great to hear.
If it's not the dogs looking for attention, it's the wind. It's amazing you get anything done on Vinny. :-)
Yes, not the ideal set-up to work on a caravan🤣
You’re doing a great job!
Woohoo! You mentioned me at the end 😊 Such a pleasure to share your travels and learn from how you restore Vinny.
And a big thank you!

Oh really! Amazing. It's a beautiful area.
wow! you're lucky to still have the caravan in those winds!!
Yes... I'm glad Vinny now has boxes and weight in the front!
The caravan coming on nicely well done.......stay safe.....thanks for sharing

I do hope the corners are waterproofed and done!!

Yes, I've stayed there before too... and liked it :)

Couldn't do this without sealant! But so messy

What a big furry cuddly dog. I’ve never seen such a furry dog😄😊
Nice! They are common in NZ.
Wow good job

I hope I manage to keep these plants alive this year too!
The saga continues can't wait for wiring.
A very existential, true, charming person 👍
Looks like an early spring weather to me. Is it? Planting seeds........
Or am I more hopeful that it's nearly spring?🤣

Brilliant work 🥂
You both achieved a lot this week. Can't wait to see Vinny on the road.
Were do you want to take Vinny for his first tour?
I hope I reach the end with Vinny! Some days are more of a struggle than others... I'm honestly not sure where the first trip would go - hmmmm.
Good work, Jo loves everyone lol
Hard work but going to be so worth it!
The saga continues. I think you've mastered caulking.
haha the never ending job!
LOL. Who did the "Jed Clampett" imitation?
Haydens uncle😜
hi that pva wood glue is not waterproof?
I think it's more to help with the initial placement?🤷♀️
Great vid, progress!
Does that hardware store only sell hammers? Such a specific product offering
Lucky for me, it sells a few other items!
Gordon Bennet - that was a bit windy🌪 I want to know more about the story of a man named Ged, please?😂 Summer is on its way. Imagine all the wonderful things you’ll all get done! Yippee!!!👊👊👊
When the wind comes in the right direction, it's crazy windy here! Can't wait for summer :)
H: “Don’t let go”
K: “Let go? Ok”

I am sure you have had many moments of regret in taking on this caravan restoration but like many RUclipsrs you need to have a project like this in order to have something to post on line
There have been days where I need a break for a while... and days where I can visualise the end!

Is that THE Mark Hamill??? Luke Skywalker funding your videos???
Ha, that would be amazing...
A “MASSIVE SHOUTOUT “ to MARK HAMILL for his generous financial contribution, we look forward to future donations please Mark.
Those air vents, surely there for safety? Put my mind to rest that you will have other working ones? Regards/success with the re-build.
There are two drafter hatches and I'll keep the two that were for the fridge ventilation too😀
