I have had privilege of being in the oberoi part once as i was attending an event there. My god thats what you call a hotel. I was so impressed that i couldn't express my feelings in words. The food,the hospitality and i can go on and on. It was once in a lifetime feeling for me. And now getting to Trident part of the hotel i have been their thrice. The best thing about trident part is rooftop. The view from their is astonishing,unbelievable and again i dont have words to describe it. Both the parts are absolutely amazing and unique in their own way.
actualy they also have a 7 star hotel in islamabad, after all ,the sheiks and arab billionaires who fund the wahabi mosques and madrasas visit pakistan to check how the terrorist training and spreading of islam is going on ... they need a place to stay ,dont they ?

In Mumbai where rich people have opportunity to stay in Oberoi, Taj all this expensive big hotels there are also so many poors who use to fight with each other to get a place on footpath to spend a night...India is not a poor country...Some Indian have lots of money and on the other hand many beg every day to buy some food...when this economical imbalance will be under controlled, India will be the richest country in the world and that day we will not see any person begging for food.

If a government doctor stay with his family just for one day . He will start begging infront of hotel gate . Because that is their fixed salary . private practice doctors and lawyers can afford . Because atleast patients comes each and every second for check up and 5to 9 clientes visit to lawyer for truth and justice . And in private sectors enginners also afford because they getting huge amount of salary from office. And they are getting special corporate card As well. But let me tell you that this 5 star hotel belong to movie stars , for famous models , sportsman and kings , presidents , for ceo cheif executive officer , for well known singers , for politicians etc. Because they earn money a lot then doctors, enginerss , and then lawyers. We can afford once in a year . Because we have other spense as well .
Trident Mumbai is only good for the guest. they make the the staff slog for 12-14hrs every day specially front ofiice team. No extra pay for long hrs. They just want to make customers happy so they come nxt time and the revenue business goes on but they treat staff like shit specially few Managers like Mrs. Kaur who think she is the CEO of the company and abuse their staff. I'm really dissapointed with all hotels in India they should increase the wages of staff, people work in hotel because they spend

I had stayed at oberoi some weeks ago.. It was fabulous but in my room the wifi was a little slow and once I had ordered sushi for appetisers but it didn't came then I had to remind the waiter.. Otherwise gorgeous food, rooms etc.
Luxury hotel stay is more suitable for either work, honeymoon or relaxation so that you can enjoy the facilities of the hotel. Not very appropariate for those touring around. It is just a waste because most of the time you are out of the hotel.
