- this video documents my first week on the new CF drug Kaftrio! At the time of posting this I've been on it just over a month now - which is crazy?!
As mentioned in the video I tried a similar drug (Symkevi) earlier in the year, but it did not work out for me - this was why I was soo nervous to try the Kaftrio - as I was convinced it may just be more disappointment . . .
But I am so grateful to say that so far it's been fabby! I put off making the video in case everything went tits up, but I think after a month we are finally all in the clear 😌

How can I get the drug
Hi. Loving this video. Today is my first day on Kaftrio…feel no change yet. I’m looking forward for weight gain and better lung function. How fast does it happen? Lol
aw thank you!! Oh good luck hope it went well - for me I started to notice both the change of appetite & chest within the first few days!! Weight gain happened rapidly in the first few weeks too, but I think it’s definitely different for everyone so don’t be too worried if nothing drastic happens super quick! hope you are doing ok :) x
