pleasae recommend some places you say are good; I finding the opposite-they were dead on regarding BeauJeau's; it's just meh but the locals rave about it lol.
You guys are in my backyard!! I can’t tell you how many concerts I’ve been to at Red Rocks over the years. They are always amazing!! Love Colorado my home state ❤️
Welcome to Colorado! I hope you have a great time! Please come back when we don't have a pandemic going on. You really have to go to a concert at Red Rocks!!
To truly enjoy Beau Jo's pizza, spend a day (or more) up in the mountains (hiking -- summer, skiing - winter), then stop at the Idaho Springs location. IMHO, the lower elevation locations haven't figured out how to adjust the original recipes correctly. And yes, for the mountain pies (which they got), the tradition is to drizzle honey over the outer part, and have that for dessert.
I assume you weren't even born yet but the 1970's-1990's... Denver was SPECTACULAR ! IF I had to pick a favorite year, 🤔 uhmmm 1982. YES. C'mon Time Travel !
The great RUclips couple has returned. Thanks for a interesting video, stay safe while you are out there. I am on my second round of going through all your videos again because it is so enjoyable
Had to comment, you guys visited the Denver Biscuit Co I work at (as a biscuit baker)! Glad you had a good experience, the kitchen staff really takes pride in what we turn out. Also, yes the biscuits are almost too big. I rarely eat a full biscuit (during quarantine we have stopped, but normally we have mini "baby" biscuits available which is usually what I go for).
If you are tea fans the Celestial Seasonings tour is a must do. I know with covid shenanigans it's not doing tours right now but hope you visit someday! The Peppermint Room is legit.
It's always sunny in Denver! Nothing like a Red Rock's concert. You guys will have to come back when the amphitheater is up and running again with music xx
I've been here since 1989. Great food. Great neighborhoods. And just looking west on a sunny day makes me smile. The lack of locals is both a blessing and a curse. Blessing cuz there's no "this is my town" vibe like you have out East. Curse cuz being welcoming means more people, higher costs, etc.
Love the quality of you videos and each one makes us want to visit the places you've been to! I hope we can get to where you are in the future. That chicken biscuit sandwich! I feel like I can taste it from watching this! I'm drooling! The amphitheater was really cool!
I’m an old seminative. Most epic concert memory at red rocks for me was in the old days when you could camp out for seats. Dawn was announced with the tolling of Hallowed Be Thy Name as we excitedly heated to see Iron Maiden
If you guys have been hunkered down then thus video showcases perfectly how skillful you are at producing top shelf youtube.love your stuff.please keep going
As a CO native, we’d grab BeauJo’s pizza when driving back from skiing. It may be called “Colorado style” but Beau Jo’s is the only place in CO that has this pizza.
I love Colorado 😍 I'm from Costa Rica, had the opportunity to visit Colorado Springs, Denver, Rocky mountains, Mount Sanitas, Boulder.. It was so beautiful ❤️
So fun to wake up to your videos ! Concerts are great at the amphitheater !! My husband would love eating along with you guys. He eats a lot but works hard and works it off. Love to travel with you two.
I left in '93 so I still have SOME fond memories and try to visit occasionally. I cried the other day when I watched the video of Ann & Angela PERMANENTLY close EL Chapultepec 😫 I hope you have a HAPPIER 2021
My brother has lived in Colorado 14 years and specifically Denver for over 10 years. I have visited multiple times, but I have never been to Red Rocks. I have been to Denver Biscuits, it was really good.
Just so glad to see my favorite couple out and about . Love any where you two go as we are all staying in on a snowy day here in Ky. Love to have one of those biscuits Eric and Allison. Take care and stay safe!!!
The food looked fantastic!!! Also very nice to see what Red Rocks looks like. So many of my favorite musical acts have played there and it is very different from what I imagined. Thanks, you guys!!!
BRAVO on doing Denver a great service with your beautiful channel. Next time you're back we'd would love to show you guys around to more local spots. Safe journeys back to MO! THE RV LIVES, YAAASSSS
I love it! Was there the first week of October and I went Estes park before the fires took over. Very sad. But I was born in Denver and now I go to visit my son. This video gives me lots of ideas. Thanks!
No, don't. I've lived here 25+ years and it's f'g miserable here ... well, unless you love your mask and can't wait for " Level Purple ".... what a joke
You both never fail to deliver a electrifying video of your travels. I've been to Denver it's a great place. Your food and site video's of attractions is amazing. Thanks for sharing your story with us that watch your channel. Outstanding balance of harmony and humor in a world full of love. Many thanks.
Thanks so much for the comment, Edward! 🥰 We were so happy to be out exploring (and eating!) again, even if it got cut a bit short. Thanks for coming along with us 🙌
Thank you for representing our city so well! My only caution for folks watching...Natives like myself consider Beau Jo's more of a vintage 70s experience..not so good pizza..you can tell just by the color of the cheese and crust...they lost their passion ages ago. There are many other great places in Denver for pizza...in fact Denver Biscuit is one such place. Thanks again this was a real pleasure to watch.
I grew up (in the 60's) "out" in Golden and Red Rocks Amphitheater was a favorite place to go with high school buddies. Some great shows out there, too. Such a shame the Covid restrictions kept you hunkered down. Denver is such a nice place. Stay safe and enjoy the Van Time!
Lol the street art reminded me of Digbeth in Birmingham where you did the Peaky Blinders tour! You were actually about 2 minutes away from my work place, if I remember correctly it might even actually start right in front of it!
Denver is great for a long weekend getaway - it's within a 2-3 hour flight from just about anywhere in the country, and there's plenty to do here for 2 or 3 days.
Right? Everyone assumes its close, but its totally flat and the congestion made it so much longer to get deep into the rockies. We still love and miss Denver though.
My ears perked up when I thought you guys put one of my fave songs in the video, and then realized it was on the P.A. at Our Mutual Friend. Very cool either way! Will need to stop by for a beer on my next trip to Denver!
I missed you guys, I used to watch your videos all the time pre Covid and then I stopped for a while because I missed being able to travel. This is the first one I've watched in ages, and I really enjoyed it. I'll catch up on the ones I missed now :) Thanks for still producing great content, you guys do the best travel videos. Stay safe.
I've enjoyed the Colorado mountain delicious brews years back when I took our 2 dtrs for an outfitters back high country mule pack trip. That was an adventure and memory of a lifetime. I'd recommend the outfitters adventure though would recommend you do some horseback riding several times prior to going to get your butts tuned up to being in the saddle most of the day. Thanks for your video sharing the beauty of Colorado!
4:02 here for the sexy slo-mo Thanks for the Biscuit Love/DBC comparison. Thx for the time slot info on the Denver Art Museum too; I'll check the website
Are you still in Colorado!? I am a Denver native and fan of yours since cruise videos! We are also renovating an RV, love the vids guys! Denver has changed SO much but I am glad you hit some staples. I swear we are gonna run into you guys someday hahah. Like minded folks. Thanks for being an inspiration!
I saw Metallica here in Red Rocks in 1989. Best concert I have ever been to and it's the only venue that I would travel back to, to go see any other band at. It'd be totally worth the trip! I love Colorado!
@@rrb4kids1 Totally agree! Saw Bryan Adams there. He was fine BUT Red Rocks is IMHO *THE BEST* concert venue anywhere (and I have been to more than a few...)

OMG so crazy this video was recommended for me. I live in Denver and THAT'S ME IN THE CAR AHEAD OF YOU AND MY DOG WILLY at 5:33!!! Hahahah
You live in such a beautiful city
The food in Denver looks SO GOOD!!! We'd probably EAT, HIKE, EAT & REPEAT all trip long! 😅
Just watched your video Sam & Audrey putting me in the mood for hot chocolate and now I’m hungry watching this video. 🤤

It's been thousands of years and placing something between two breadstuffs is STILL the latest thing! Amazing!
We travelled from Edinburgh to Colorado in 2009. The trip was timed to coincide with the Killers gig at Red Rocks. Iconic venue for an amazing gig.
Oh man, I bet that was amazing!! What a journey 🗺
