MANN-CO wouldn't allow pets on the property, so the mercs found the closest thing and brought it to work!
Pets were banned after Clubsy the Seal took over 8 of the 9 Mercs.
Thankfully Spy saw himself above pet cosmetics

This is so cute and in-character! The Expiration Date reference for Medic, the noogie Soldier gives, the little smooch Pyro does, Sniper knowing where and how to hold the bread without getting bitten. It's so good!
I love how Engie and spy are the only ones that get the smaller ones (Now I just see them with like tea cup puppies lol)

As someone who headcanons the small loaf at the end of Expiration Date becoming Pyro's pet (named Princess) I would LOVE to see this added to the game!

I wouldn't call spy a snob. A lot of people would probably have a similar reaction if they found unknown sentient bread in their suit.
i love how the grenades and like little things attached to their body are actually animated, like how heavy's bullet belt gets moved by the bread monster.
its incredible how well the tf2 artstyle translates almost seamlessly to blender

They're just loafing around but they should be bready for when the bread bites, and yes, it *will* bite them.
I love that Sniper, Engineer, and Demo were pretty much able to “tame” them
i really like the animations, they are full of life!

This actually makes me think of some fan art I really love. Someone had the idea of making some “bruppies”, which were basically if you combined the monster bread with doggos. And each “bruppy” was designed after the different types of bread that the mercs had. For example, Spy’s bruppy was basically a baguette dachshund, Engie’s bruppy was a cornbread corgi, and Heavy’s bruppy could potentially be a Borodinsky bear dog (big pupper for big boi)
I’d love for the bruppies to become real TF2 pets! 😊

I wonder how those bread monsters would be able to digest alcohol and a steak. I think they are just hollow on the inside.
I believe it's like an enhanced tumor.
Tumors can grow teeth, noses, hair, and even eyes.
Considering how whacky TF2 lore is, it wouldn't surprise me that Engie's teleporter enhances the cancer it gave the bread and made it gain an organ system.
Plus, since it has sentience, that means it has a brain somewhere in that loaf. Who's to say it couldn't have an organ system in there either?

Reminds me of something that was created by someone online called Bruppies bread monsters that are basically also dogs each class has a different bread Bruppy like Soldier who has a Ration Bruppy and Spy who has a Baguette Bruppy
I like how Soldier,Sniper,Demoman,Pyro,Heavy and Engineer care for the Loafs,but Medic,Scout and Spy dont.

The engineer taunt is probably my favorite of them all. It’s so creative, and cute.
