Dear Bishop Barron, I was always a big fan of your film reviews/thoughts. I was really wondering about your views on a few TV shows. Now I know it'd be a big imposition to hear your thoughts on shows like Breaking Bad and Justified considering the time that'd be required to view both shows, but I would love to hear your views/thoughts on the first seasons of True Detective and Fargo, both of which are anthology series (meaning each season tells a complete story with no connection to any other season. New characters, setting, time period, etc.). I know Fargo was one of your favorite movies and I think season 1 of Fargo is in many ways just as good (season 2 just started so I'm excited), and True Detective season 1 was also a very good story (don't waste your time on season 2 it's a total waste). If it isn't an imposition, I'd really love to hear your views on these series.

Many seem to believe this, despite Jesus telling us that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church.I find that many also believe that the errors of the second Vatican Council were probably a part of, and reason why, we have not been told the 3rd secret of Fatima.These things cause great confusion, and seem to be a subject in need of clarification.

At the risk of sounding disrespectful, the Pope faults all capitalism for exploiting the poor. The capilism of his native Argentina is quite different from the capitalism found in the US. In fact, we do not have unfettered capitalism in the US. We have a huge safety net, where our "poor" have smart phones, cable TV, free health care and cars. If one wants to determine which system most benefits the poor, they need only compared the poor in nations subscribing to capitalism, and the poor in nations subscribing to socialism. It isn't even close. I guess Pope Francis can't see what socialism has done to the dirt poor people in the countries that so fear capitalism. It's sad, actually. The poor that Jesus envisioned are not the "poor" in America, or the "poor" in industrialized Europe. Those "poor" are actually quite well off when compared to truly poor people, and they have capitalism to thank.
