Hallelujah! So happy for you! I am in the middle of a 22x25 build from scratch. Hopefuly I will be done soon. Put in 2 heat sinks and half burried one side. North facig wall is insulated. In south Missouri. Trying to start a nursery and a not for profit to build communty gardens in senior communities and local churches. Pray for us. Great job!
Wow David…you look so much younger without the “whiskers”, man! Almost didn’t recognize you, at first glance. Great job on the greenhouse! Whoever says that kids AREN’T a blessing, doesn’t know a thing!
If I ever get to live near y'all, I'm visiting your nursery (if it's open to public) every chance I have. I'm so freaking excited for y'all for your greenhouse. I hope a book comes out of it.
when you were trimming the posts with the sawsall and the little ring came off the top, i couldn't help but think "Look Rachel, he made a new wedding band to replace the one he lost digging yams last video!"
So excited for you!!!! It made my heart happy to see the whole family pitching in, particularly the kids crawling all over the greenhouse like a jungle gym! Loved it!!!
Love the greenhouse! An idea for the next one (or for others who don't have a big family): to assist in getting the plastic up and over the top of the structure, tie rocks or balls into the edges of the plastic with one end of a long cord; tie something heavy to the other end of the cord and throw that over the top. Then you can pull on the cords to help bring the plastic up and over. (Using the rock or ball enables you to attach a cord to the plastic without making any holes in it.)
Wonderful greenhouse and it will be one of the best investments you ever made. To get my little one over the top since I am a loner, I used duckbill clamps and hemp rope,, doubled over the plastic edge, clamped it and flung the rope over the top to the other side, pulled and tied it off and did that all the way down until it was over the top and down the other side.
Congrats on the greenhouse - it IS epic! I love how all your kids jumped in to help. That was the perfect illustration of many hands making for light work! :)
Now you look like you and your family have found a place to call home for good. The high tunnel is stronger than I expected with kids using it for a jungle gym. God bless y'all and keep growing.
Your kids have no hesitation to jump in to participate, no fear of criticism (or heights), and no doubt that they are an important part of something larger than themselves. How novel to me and to many others I'm sure, to possess the power of inner strength, unconditional love, solid confidence and security that they matter very much to the world around them. In my next life, I want to be one of them, please. You and Mrs Good are a special pair, indeed.
Now that is the most beautiful family memory ever!! teamwork like none other❤ you guys have a beautiful family and just so you know... You are an inspiration and very admired by our whole community!!
Good stuff. I hope the sponsorship helped... maybe one for a tractor next? Thanks Carolyn too, and all the others who pitched in. Obviously the plants will love it, but there's nothing like having a space to work in comfortably on those blustery winter days and in rain storms... so be sure to save yourself a little room and not stuff it completely full.
Well that's no fun. When we put our plastic up the wind decided it wanted to pick up and about took me into the woods LOL. Congratulations on the new greenhouse and I'm sure y'all will love it. Have a blessed day
Good for you David so happy it has gone beyond the dream and become a reality for y’all… so much hard work and determination ..GOD bless the true friends …the jewels in our lives… best wishes on your EPIC JOURNEY 🙏🏻👍👌
There is one thing about a greenhouse that we always need to remember. When we use it, it's paying for itself. No need to calculate how long or when, just remembering that it does. Just like the time to water and care for the plants. They give back, in more ways that we can count.
GIGANTIC. Looks fabulous. Free labor with all the kiddos lol. There so darn cute and always wanting to help dad in the garden. Love the NO MORE BEARD too! xoxo
Best. Jungle gym. Ever? Also, good old fashioned -barn- greenhouse raising seems to make a great party! That looks good and sturdy. Here's hoping it all comes together as you wish.
Seeing your friends climbing on the structure to run the plastic: SOLD!! I'll definitely be looking into one of these!! You definitely needed to invest in this David. This will launch you into the next level of business. Congrats!!!!
Cool greenhouse, David. I am happy to see your progression from just where you were a year or so ago. You're giving me something to aspire to, though I am not sure I could fill that monster!
What great space!!!! A line of barrels of water along the north wall allow them to collect the sun while not interfering with available light (if only done one barrel high).
It's a great start. You gotta have a place to grow the green plants before you can start banking the green stuff to pay for it. You'll do well I'm sure. The tractor will come in time. You'll need one for all the mulch and compost you'll be selling in your plant nursery future.
Praise Father Yehovah in the Mighty Name of His Son, Yeshua. HalleluYah!!! I'm so overwhelmingly joyful for y'all. This is the time when His blessings overtake His obedient children. We need all the help we can get as we march into Jacob's trouble. I'm working towards building a nursery. I bought your Nursery book. Thank you for all that y'all do, Brother. Keep up the good work.
It's a Monster (said in a broad Scottish accent for lols) I was trying to work out where I'd seen James before, then worked out he's a greybeard version of Oliver Anthony, amazing forward planning to have bread a brood of young monkeys in time to help errect it, fabulous project, wishing you all the very best of success with the new venture!
Man, so amazing to see all the progress you've made over the years. Wish my kids were as excited/content being helpful in the garden and building a greenhouse! God bless you all!
Epic greenhouse and most excellent jungle gym. Watching your kids climb all over it helping you was so enjoyable. I can't wait to see this in full action.
Love it. Careful, even this time of year in Colorado in my greenhouse without shade cloth I have to run vent fans on a thermostat. It will get 130 degrees inside on days without cloud cover. Greenhouses are awesome
That's the same size as one of our allotments. Good job getting that set up. All those extra hands helped so at times like these having all those kids makes sense ;) Good luck with your nursery.
I am so excited for you guys to have a greenhouse - you're such an inspiration to our family! I can't wait to see how this blesses your family and business
Wow David ! very impressive . im glad to see youve come so far so fast at the new place. Congrats man ... youve definitely worked for it , your a great example to follow my friend..take care.

You're a total inspiration to all of us RUclipsrs, Dave. God bless your entire family- you all deserve this!!
I wouldn't say I deserve it, but God gives us what we need and more. Thank you.

You and the children could have a whole business of putting up greenhouses, hoop houses, they all did a great job!! Praise the Lord!
Seeing the whole family pitch in to make this happen is good for one's soul. May you receive the blessings you work hard fo manifest.
