Great tutorial! I was wondering if this unit could do a convincing high gain tone. I’m sold

I have seen complaints about Line 6, Boss, Zoom, Fender, Mooer, Nux, and that Fractal and Kemper were over rated and over priced......That is pretty much all the amp model manufacturer's I think. It would appear no one is happy. ....or there are a lot of impatient people that do not know how to tweak....Thanks for this presentation; You obviously know what you are doing. Cheers!

Tottally agree, seems like one is happy about anything anymore.
Almost three years later I'm still happy with how this thingy sounds, and honestly I haven't even used 50% of it's features.
I'm more of a one trick pony kinda guy in the way that if I like X type of distortion I would rather to just save and buy the real thing, but this little unit is a steal.

I bought one a couple years ago. It seems very capable of giving me crunch, and apparently, no one listening is going to care about differences between this and a tube amp... i think it was the right choice! I still enjoy it so that's what counts

" if it sounds good, it's good"
just don't tell anyome it costed less than 1K... Cuz then all of the sudden it will sound bad to their ears!

Great massive metal tone and perhaps if
You use it with T Racks even more well rounded I might decide to buy one and do my own demo

I use a nux mg300 with a zoom g1xfour as a first pedal on my chain. I use the tube screamer and pitch shifter from the zoom to boost my nux patches and change tunings...paired with the boss katana mkii 50 in the power amp in, It sounds pretty good with a custom IR and some eq tweaking on the nux...i didn't get them all at once...Its more like bought them on a budget during my 3-6 years of playing even though I'm not that good lol. Even my guitar isn't that expensive...Kinda glad these budget gears are available to people... Considering the g3xn has more effects slot than the g1xfour, I'm pretty sure it'll be pretty versatile and a bang for your buck for general use for people since g1xfour only has 5 effects slots which includes amp and cab sims.

      Woow interesting setup!
The great thing is that these days you don't need to spend 3000$ on guitars and pedals to sound good.
30 years ago people would have died to have such good sounding multi fx unit at such an affordable price.
If it sounds good, it's good, period.
It's just that people are afraid to bring gear like this to live situations because " it's not pro enough" which I think it's sad.
Thaks a lot for sharing your rig!

Just because these days if you are not rocking an axe fx or a kemper or something above 1k $ then you are not worthy of playing live and most likely you'll be crucified on the internet! xD
But I bet my ass if X famous guitar player started using this pedal live then ....
