Totally. I got a 407 a few months ago and I bought the Lexia3 cable on Ebay for about €50-€60. So far its helped me track down a faulty fuel regulator, two separate ABS lights, ESP(egr) fault, update my ECU firmware, install a headphone jack into the radio, recalibrate steering, sync sync a new key when I changed the ignition and then add a spare key, find broken wire in the butterfly solenoid. Probably some more stuff too. Paying a dealer €70 a go for this kind of stuff would be madness. I did go to the dealer once about the ESP light (ended up being a stuck egr valve) they done a free scan, and told me I needed a new ABS block for €1200. lol
I bought an nt644 last week and I am really happy with it. I bought it as its able to register new batteries as needed in newer bmws etc and also the park brake reset as more and more cars have them
Shishu Ali hi mate I would get that checked out as when I contacted Foxwell they told me free updates also I am getting free updates on my Foxwell scan tools
How did we end up from this little nice and friendly scantools to TV-like scantools? It would be super nice to have bidirectional control and ecu coding and programing on the 680 pro. I honestly would prefer it over anything else. Quick and easy.
Does this perform stop start BMS resets on fitting of a new battery? I'm looking at a tool for roadside recovery diagnostics and if this has that function built in rather than buying the stand alone battery tool then that will be handy
Ok, that's it, just obtained one, absolute dogs yollocks, starting to narrow down me battery warning failure (This was on my old car, now sold :)), just need to find 2volts :), ok, traced to supply wiring fault to battery health box (BHB) attached to the battery. The BMS (Body Monitoring System) takes reference voltage direct from the battery and compares it to that sent by the BHB. If the BHB sends wrong or no voltage value BMS flags a failure. If you disconnect supply to BHB the BMS now takes is reference fom the ABS (and not the BHB) system and works fine (exempt yor battery wont be monitored to the same extent).
Hi Leon, I just bought a Foxwell NT644 pro from UK and I have some questions if you don't mind.... I connected the scanner to 2 cars, a BMW 5 Series E60 diesel from 2004 and a Land Rover Freelander 1 from 2002 also diesel .... the problem is that I don't find live data for oxigen sensors, fuel trims and a lot other data .... I found IAT, MAF, OBDSUP, MIL SIST,DTC CNT, ECT, MAP, RPM, VSS and also don't support special functions on either car... thanks, any advice is precious
Hi mate you need to go into OBD2 and not the manufacturer software you will find a lot more data pids there but you do need to use both of them to get all the data pids
I hope you get that big Foxwell tablet, that'd be nice to see! Live data in thoes smaller scan tools are great. Every bit of information are somtimes greatly useful. Usually the smaller scan tools doesn't have free updates so that is really good too.
manwiththestar hopefully I get it to mate send them an email with the link down below hopefully we will get it also someone has set up a petition which I think is really great lol I just love my subscribers they are the best thanks a lot for watching
Question, has anyone used the NT644Pro to bleed ABS module on a 2003-2007 Honda Accord? I've heard it works on the Bosch driver, but my module looks to be made by Nissin, at least that's all I could find on the housing. I can't seem to find anywhere on the net where the Nissin tells me what software driver it uses, as it very well could be using Bosch software. I want to make sure it is capable of that particular feature as it's one I really need, but I like all the other bi-directional tests that the 644 does compared to the NT630 Elite.
Well explained I have the 644 pro and it's excellent I've had it for a few yrs now and i scan all kind of cars I also own a launch as well but foxwell is my choice, very easy to update, great video, I want you review the gt80
Thanks a lot mate the GT90 is now out I would love to do with you on that but unfortunately I'm just not in the position right now to get one and foxwell will not send me one
I am going to purchase the gt90 for sure I had my nt 644 for 4 years now and it works excellent very easy to use so I expect a lot of improvement with the gt 90 i buy from foxwell factory direct, but keep the excellent videos coming
Hi mate unfortunately there is no scan tool out there even if you pay thousands upon thousands that will tell you exactly what's wrong they are all just code readers
Hi, I bought the Foxwell NT650 Elite, my car is Hyundai. If you've got the wrong codes in your car, it will not be for it for safety reasons if your DPF is too blocked, it will not be for me for safety reasons. It sounds like maybe you have another problem here. What I mean is. Is it's going to be too dangerous to do a region? Chances, are you have a complete blocked filter? Which will need to be clean in another way? Or maybe the scan tool just won't work on this particular vehicle.

Great vídeo me friend, I am looking to buy a scan tool ando this Foxwell is one of my two best options on market, also Autel MD808 pro is another good option I think, what do you think about? Wich is better? Foxwell NT644 Pro or Autel MD808 Pro?
Gendan in Swansea. Or any dealer who is linked to gendan. I got mine from logicautomotive in Ireland last year . With updates the tool now does milagecorrection, injectors, cvt, tpms all free as long as u own the tool. Only thing it does not do it ABS bleeding. Which I kept the autel mot pro to do on bmw
Zib187 hi mate you want to get that checked out as I'm getting free updates and I know a lot of people that are the only Foxwell system you have to pay for the updates is the gt80 after 18 months download their software I'm sure once you put your details in you will find you get free updates

Great review, loved it. Nice details in the video. I am a Patreon, and work on my mothers Audi. But I don't need it that much. Have an Autel MS906TS. I find scan tools interesting, and I love to own and use them. The Chinese brands give so much value for money (Autel, Launch, Foxwell). Among Chinese made scanners, I know least about Foxwell. But so far yours seems like the best compact scanner out there for a DIY. And even live data graphing, wow. I'm really curious about the GT80 Mini more than the Plus version. That's their newest scanner with Win10Pro. The Plus has Win8.1Pro and I don't think it's wireless like the Mini. Anyway, hope you get that scanner and do a review. And last I wanna say, dont buy Lauch Diagun IV, I did as it is a compact Android based scanner. The newest model from Lauch. But it is more expensive and with a lot less live data functions that the NT644 Pro. It is back on Ebay again, selling it this very moment.

If you don't work in a shop it's pointless. Plus you have to pay for updates on these one unlike the rest of the foxwell it's lifetime updates.
You can use this to bleed abs brakes
where are they made
Great vídeo me friend, I am looking to buy a scan tool ando this Foxwell is one of my two best options on market, also Autel MD808 pro is another good option I think, what do you think about? Wich is better? Foxwell NT644 Pro or Autel MD808 Pro?
Carlos Vallejo hi mate I've only ever use the Foxwell so unfortunately I cannot advise you which one as I've only use one of them
Ok, no problem and I have another question my friend, talking about Throttle Body Adjustment, this Foxweel NT644 Pro has a lot of coverage?
Hi mate it has no bi directional controls on its
Oh that´s confusing for me because in the Foxwell Web they say that this NT644 Automaster Pro has the function of Throttle body adjustement...
Carlos Vallejo it has TPS settings

Would this tool do vauxhall zafira tourer 2013
where can i buy a foxwell nt 644 with life time updates

Gendan in Swansea. Or any dealer who is linked to gendan. I got mine from logicautomotive in Ireland last year . With updates the tool now does milagecorrection, injectors, cvt, tpms all free as long as u own the tool.
Only thing it does not do it ABS bleeding. Which I kept the autel mot pro to do on bmw

Hi
So now with this one can you send the data results to your customer via email?
you can
Will this thing do srs reading?
yes mate
Foxwell's website states that the NT644 includes "18 Months free update, Update cost is 100USD/year after 18 Months".
Zib187 hi mate you want to get that checked out as I'm getting free updates and I know a lot of people that are the only Foxwell system you have to pay for the updates is the gt80 after 18 months download their software I'm sure once you put your details in you will find you get free updates
Zib187 after 3rd July 2017 the updates are free for anyone with a live subscription or and one who purchase the tool aftet that date.
It's free update lifetime now, GT80 is free update for 3 years.

Foxwell NT500 It will be good to Fabia III 1.0 TSI 110KM 2018 year ??

Krillekris thanks a lot mate thanks for watching it's going to be interesting if I get it to compared to other scanners it looks really good hopefully we get it and we will let you know

Wonder if this is a UK thing, We always get a bum deal here
