How did we end up from this little nice and friendly scantools to TV-like scantools? It would be super nice to have bidirectional control and ecu coding and programing on the 680 pro.
I remember buying this scanner around 2019. hooked it to a silverado and about 2 minutes of having it plugged in..my truck would show a "unknown driver" message in the message center. I gave that scanner away.
Thanks for the video as usual! I hope this Foxwell is better than their NT510 (newer NT520) for the BMW. I have a NAS 2011 BMW X5 (E70) 35d diesel model that the Foxwell NT510 could never identify. Also the NT510 I use on my Land Rover Discovery 2 and it doesn’t do key fobs though the Foxwell website states that it does. All around the NT 510/520 is a good diagnostic tester but not an excellent tester. Hopefully the NT650 proves me wrong. Cheers mate!

Thank you mate, I've done registration today following your video. The same scanner registered my battery as second one with 171000 miles, but on my dashboard millage is 106000. Do you guys think that somebody was playing with the millage? I own it for 2 years only, is it possible to find out the right milage with this scanner? Tnx
just bought nt650 for 99 vw jetta, and 05 2.5 vw Jetta it reads air bags, abs brakes , ob2 codes, does have some limits so far so good got it for 169 on sale. currently replacing angle sensor going to see if it calibrates it.
didnt read any codes....pretty much useless on a 2005 vw Jetta 2.5 if you want to read freeze frames or pull codes that's about it...didnt work on my SAS sensor
Will this help me figure out what's wrong with my steering angle sensor can I perform test to see if my DSC pump is working it's whatever else is connected to the steering angle sensor?

Alessandro Lo rizzo, Foxwell offers more features like TPMS, injector coding, throttle TBA/TPS, CVT and etc. The maxi check pro is really limited in functionality. You also get free lifetime update through the Foxwell website. You can’t beat that.....
Elcarita, you should be able to bleed your brakes. You have to follow the prompts on the screen and you should be fine. You will not be disappointed owning this tool if you are starting out .....
Hello, I bought the Foxwell NT650 Elite, my car is Hyundai I have intact in every way possible to do the forced regeneration function of the dpf, but it does not work, it always tells me that it cannot communicate with the ecu when I do this, someone has managed to make a regeneration of the dpf diesel particulate filter with this product, thanks.
@@localvetUK I believe you about the NT650 Scanner for the BMW. But for $120 for a NT630 I can now bleed the ABS on my Jeep Liberty without having to go to the stealership. The NT650 is an old out of date unit.
i am looking for a budget diagnostic scanner( not any particular cars but should cover most cars ) like less than 200usd. can u pls suggest any which can do abs bleed srs etc. i used VDM2 100$ wifi. i lost it. it was perfect for many cars but couldn't do bmw srs reset. now as it is lost i m looking for suggestions. thanks in advance.

No it comes with lifetime free updates. Only need to pay if you want to add more car brands I believe

Yes, it can do that. It can also set the fuel meter to a higher reading so that you will have more gas on longer trips. It's a excellent buy.
