    Day 68, Part 2 - 1st July 2023
    We are welcomed to KL with the best grab driver ever and settle into our next home, an amazing one bed apartment with stunning views across the city. We check out the local area and have a spot of dinner at an Arabic Restaurant. SJ heads out to meet a friend and colleague at the JW Marriot for my Shisha, Baklava and a catch up. What a lovely welcome Kuala Lumper.
    ACCOMMODATION: The Robertson Suite, Bukit Bintang
    One Bedroom Apartment - £29 per night
    DINNER: Fayali El Sham Restaurant
    Total 110MYR = £18.77
    42MYR Lamb Kebab = £7

    That big arse building belongs to PNB one of the largest fund management companies. That spire is actually the highest observation deck in the world.

    KL is a fantastic city, but there's room for improvement. The city's design overly prioritizes cars. Given the ample space between buildings, funds could be better used by transforming current highways and large roads into attractive parks, gardens, and pathways. Enhancing public transport, particularly buses, is crucial. The city has great potential, thanks to the spacious gaps between buildings created by the expansive roads connecting them. I hope authorities take the needed measures to transform Kuala Lumpur into a more pedestrian-friendly city.

    Thanks for sharing. I've had my eye on the Robertson next time I'm heading to KL. Is there a safety box in the apartment?

      Ahh that’s great we really liked that apartment. I can’t remember if it had a safe box.. I want to say it did but I’m not 100%. I booked via Agoda and I’m sure you can ask the question 🙏

    the pole is not an antenna so therefore its part of the architectural design of the bulding. Its no ordi ary pole as well as u cud climb all the way to the top, goggle the you g cople from Russia that illegally climed all the way to the tippy top of the spire
