Same here, though including both childhood & military it was more like 12 years. I wish I'd been able to have my own son live (not as a tourist) overseas for a longer period - even in Europe. It's extremely beneficial to the youth to see how others live, and helps make one grateful for the blessings of America's system.
If I go see a foreign doctor that's working in the United States that can speak his own language from his native country he's doing a disservice to the all other speakers of his language
I lived overseas 8 years of my life everything he says the spot on it's fact it's better than truth it's fact.
