Lecrae is in a tough place. So we should pray for him.When the Holy Spirit is in us, we can't deny the Truth no matter how much we say or do not say, preach or don't preach. He knows himself and His God. He needs the brothers and sisters to pray for him. Many of us are just like him in a smaller setting, whether in our community, workplace or private life. We face many of the same challenges. And we don't always please others or even ourselves. May the Holy Spirit guide him, empower him, and protect him. In Jesus name. As I know He will. The truth: This man is an honest and true to the heart God fearing man. I love and feel blessed for Lecrae. When non-believers cuss or say things that offend God I act like they need correction. His comment about serving people falls right in line with being a peaceable person no matter who he's dealing with. He is a Christian with mad talent. Praise Jesus for his spirit and career.
People are so quick to judge even before they get the entire story. Lecrae is Saved that’s doesn’t mean he is perfect. Christ told Peter that he will Make will fishers of Men. So like it or not I believe Lecrae is doing what he is called to do and that preach the gospel. It could by secular radio, the barbershop or BET Hip Hop awards he is still letting his light shine. Keep it up my brother!
Keep in the faith Lecrae. Let those so called Christians who spend all their time hating and criticising you keep rolling around on the church floor and falling down in services. Reach out to the lost and use your God given talent. Stay with God and he will stay with you. Unfortunately many liars will say they know Jesus and say they are Christian but God will tell them he didn't know them.
I can't understand how you can put it all into words and make it sound so sweet. When I tell you Lecrae youare one of the best hip hop artists there ever was. It was like a breath of fresh air when I heard Rehab "background". I'm like I just got saved and I can still listen to something with a crazy beat that glorifies God and speaks to my soul. I finally got to see you last year in Silver Spring, MD. We got tickets to see you last Sunday 10/22/17. It was all me and my 13 year old son talked about. I got sick and ended up going to the hospital but he went with my sister. I was so devastated(like Fr) . But I hope to see you next year! Thank you for sharing your gift. We love you!

Yeah, Lecrae!!! I am so excited with where he is going. It seems like so many people are asking of the question of whether it's acceptable for Lecrae to go down this path. What?! What he's saying, and I completely agree, is that a huge portion of the American church is completely failing at being who Jesus called us to be because they're so focused on their religion. What Lecrae is doing is deciding to step outside the religion that alienates the people who need God most and he's reaching out to actually show love and compassion. Lecrae, thank you for becoming a loud voice actually representing what Christianity is supposed to be. It's about time somebody started challenging the false images of Christianity promoted by others with loud voices, and by the culture itself that has come to reject rather than love the very people Jesus told us to reach out to.

I'm late posting, but yeah Sway, I presume that because of your career you know a lot of things about people and things in general but please let the word of God be THE ONE BOOK of the many other books you read and that a relationship God be the most important one you know above all others brother. Praying for you.
I feel like this new record is about to kill me softly. That concept and that verse have been in my life lately. Very excited to hear how the Lord uses him this go 'round.

Man, I love Lecrae...in the world, not of it. Hanging with Sway in his free time and speaking truth when no one is looking...reminds me a little of Jesus tho. I watched both parts. My point is that he should led with that as his reasoning and put emphasis on it. All things work together for good to them that love God. If you don't love God or truly know him on a personal level, you don't have the same assurance. He got his deal, props to him because he's a talented guy but he's coming off as lukewarm now. If you come in the game talking about how your priority is to spread the Gospel, now that you have a larger audience, you should deviate from that.
Mr. Boston I hear you, but to be straight with you, you're nitpicking in this specific instance. You commented and said he should give the biblical meaning of the title, and now you're saying he should do it first. I have my issues with what Lecrae does, but this right here is ridiculous. Your first comment is the one everybody sees, and some may not even watch the video because of your comment to see that he did exactly what you said he hasn't done, which would be slanderous if you really think about it.
Hope this isn't seen as me letting Crae off the hook, or idolizing him and not wanting to be real about him. But by your comment, idk if you will see that this is not that. I hope I'm wrong.
Also, it's kind of hard to reach people if you shove scripture down their throat. All things work together is a good conversation starter to get to the deeper meaning, which Lecrae fully acknowledged that the scripture/spiritual reasoning is the "deeper meaning." Lecrae continues to try and reach those furthest from God. You have to meet them where they are. His old albums were to get existing Christians to "turn up for Jesus" but he's at a new place now.
