    I love your approach 🤩😍♥️! I met you in the middle of January and i am so glad that you recommended radiesse instead of juvederm Voluma for lifting and filling my cheeks :)! The lifting effect was really nice. I definitively will come back for checking the results of my botox in the masseter muscle for slimming my face - i can already see a slight reduction of volume in this area but think i need a bit more! Love your work and that you are not afraid to use the right amount (which is something different than overfilling it) and go all in 🙏🤗😍 :) greetings from Vienna!

I absolutely love the effects. I do think I had a little too much botox and my brows have lowered very slightly because I can tell when I'm applying eye makeup. My crease is a bit heavier on my lids. Let me add that I think you were/are extremely respectful when speaking about your patients. . . Especially if/when you see things differently? You can only do what they allow you to do.... I wonder if people, in general, have become less trusting of their physicians? Or we truly see ourselves (flaws) much differently than how others perceive them? Or it's a mixture of both?

    Thanks for explaining the mil’s because I did not have a very good picture of that in my mind. Definitely a visible difference between before and after photo. However, you are right that when we are older it takes more to do more. I think women are smart if they can afford to get ahead of the curve by doing a little at a time so differences are gradual and they look well rested and healthy versus, “wow, you’ve had work done.” I agree that a couple more treatments would likely help her look more youthful. Nice job on the first treatment.

    Great video, thank you! I recently went to get fillers done by one of the top cosmetic doctors here in Northern California. I wanted my temples filled as a part of the full-face package, however, he said he doesn’t fill that area because it’s too risky since there are arteries very near that area. I’ve only heard you mention that it’s costly due to the amount of filler required. I really like the outcome from your patients after treating their temples.

    I'm so loving your approach! It's all about not doing harm, not overdoing it, better safe than sorry, you'd rather do less than possible, than making something wrong - and in a good way, because the result is there, it's not like it's all for nothing. At the same time it's about making people more youthful or otherwise beautiful without making them into different people. And last, but not the least, you are about the general picture, you do bespoke tailored faces, with the best material suitable for certain issues; that's opposed to those who would just bloat everyone's lips and try to make same cheekbone illusion.
    Yeah. I'm the scaredy cat who won't dye her hair because I fear that they can make it nor how I like it. I have very long hair, it's a bigger risk compared to short hair, but still, I know people often dye their hair successfully. But if such doctor as Sarah was available to me, I would consider all this stuff, after all, I chose to wear braces as an adult to improve my looks (mostly to get rid of pain bc of teeth crowding, but still).

      I usually do all my fillers in two appointments 1 month apart. This gives the fillers a chance to do what they are going to do and the second appointment allows me to have any smaller areas filled that didn't completely fill the first time. Especially my tear troughs. I didn't want to go from sunken into puffy so we were conservative the first time. Same mls in each side gave almost perfect results except one tiny spot on one under eye but the other side needed more all over. My cheekbones were done in two sessions. A syringe in each side the first time and then a month later just at the very top edge. My lips took 3 times before I was satisfied. I did find that they lasted a year before the volume started to go away but when we touched them up the top lip took hardly any and the bottom lip took half of what was originally used. I think there is an accumulated result if you keep up on it.

    As a 23 y/o I had very chubby cheeks in the lower third of my face around my jowls. It gave me a baby face look and I didnt like the way it made my side profile appear - my jaw line in particular i guess. I surprisingly found a huge difference with only 0.5ml of voluma in each cheek (giving me a shadow under the cheekbone ive never had before haha) and also 2ml in my chin to add length and projection as I have a receding chin. Im already loving the results of just 3ml and am due for my follow up tx soon. Feeling like I still need some help with the jawline.. and predicting I will be recommended 1m for each side for the angle of the jaw. So I guess 5ml of voluma in total (maybe more!). Im just so happy that already 3ml has made such a difference to the shape of my face! I feel like chins and jawlines are the new 'in' thing hahaha

    Hi Sarah. Thank you for the video. I'm 47. I started having cosmetic treatments 2 years ago. I've had bottox to lift the brows, smooth frown lines and relax crows feet. 6ml juverderm voluma in the submalar cheek area for added fullness, 2 ml in my upper lip vermilion border and philtrum to add fullness and to lift the lip, and 3ml in my lower lip vermilion border and central body for fullness and anatomical balance. I've been absolutely delighted with the results but tbh quite disappointed with longevity of both the botox and filler. The filler only lasts approximately 8 months and botox 3 months. Is this normal Sarah? This cost of upkeep is killing me financially but i love the results. Thanks for all your advice. It's been invaluable. Kind regards. Tonia

Last year I had the non surgical nose job and was stunned at how little filler was used to make a huge improvement. Unfortunately the person that does the fillers at my spa now will not do it. Just curious after watching some of your vids, which are great btw. If a 1ml syringe goes nowhere and is lost in the face with no impact, why do they sell them at 1ml a time .. why not sell a 4ml which is at least going to show something? is it because the price will be an immediate ouch for us not so well off.. Whereas spend money on 1ml ,, and it doesn't work you are already hooked into the need to buy another syringe and so and so on.. Its like buying medication that says you need a course of seven days but they only sell 3 days in a pack but you don't realise until you have bought the pack. lol .. I am sure there may be a realistic answer to this

    16 syringes?!? And if I recall most commenters to that person’s other video liked her face before and not after...??? Lot of money for very little results in this video too. Disappointing and sad. 🤭

    • @DrSarahTonks
      @DrSarahTonks  5 лет назад +1

      Marge Burkell curious why it’s “disappointing”, what exactly were you hoping for?

    • @MargeBurkellDotCom
      @MargeBurkellDotCom 5 лет назад

      I had only two syringes under my eyes in the tear troughs and I saw more results than all the filler in her face. I was researching if I want to maybe have other areas to help lift my cheek area so I sought you out as a recommended authority. I just really agreed in your previous video that this patient looked better and had a more flattering shaped face before her filler than after.

    • @DrSarahTonks
      @DrSarahTonks  5 лет назад +4

      Marge Burkell but that’s the whole point of the video, I’m saying I didn’t have enough to play with. To explain further, the anatomical space under the eyes is quite small and contained, that’s why it’s possible to achieve excellent results in some people with 1-2ml, ditto the nose and the lips. For a full face change you really need to see around 16ml. The areas injected here aren’t the same and typically require more product to see a volumetric change. I try to show a mixture of things on my channel, not just “wow” results, because this is more realistic. She was happy afterwards, which is I suppose the important thing.

    • @MargeBurkellDotCom
      @MargeBurkellDotCom 5 лет назад +2

      Dr Sarah Tonks it definitely is important for the patient to be happy with the results. I just wouldn’t have been. Thanks for the video though because it really has me wondering if the extra filler is even worth it.
