Shocked that some people do not appreciate these conversions!! He makes these things look 1000 times better in my opinion. Dude has some skill and seems to care a lot about fit and finish and detail. How could you not dig that? But each to his own.
I don't get that some people say you destroyed it or wasted your time, I think it looks absolutely fantastic!! If the customer is happy that's what counts and I bet he is. When you cut the arm off I really freaked out but you did an amazing job covering all the little mistakes and huge gaps. You have a LOT of patience while painting and it shows with the finished job, WOW! What amazing detail all over. Congratulations!!
What's great about Rafael is that it looks like he's destroying an already great piece of art but then has the confidence to fix what he's damaged and make it a million times better. Incredible work. I wish I could be as skilled as Rafael. 11/10 For all his work. Going to watch his Juggernant now.
Big admirer of your work. I want to do the same thing with a Superman PF. I have one and got the cape from Dan D so I can have one with all material suit and one that is painted on like you did. Fantastic work keep it up.
Great job ! I'm owner of a PF custom from an english artist and i'm very happy with him. Your version is amazing ! So cool and oldschool ! Thank you for this awesome video of your job ! Keep in this way !
Thank you for sharing your workflow. From what I understand the krylon dulling spray is only temporary and wipes off easily. Is there a way to make it permanent?
You did an excellent job with this project. I'll never be able to prove it, but I suspect that someone at Sideshow saw this video, and decided to redo their statue in this color scheme. Again, well done man.
Hi Rafael Can I ask you which Plasticine uses to make airbrush masks? where can I find it, because I'm looking for a product like the one you use, but I can't find anything on the market. Thanks and congratulations
Very well done. Too bad the client didn't want a sculpted chest plate and a new sculpted utility belt, that would have taken it over the top. Definitely want mine done this way!!
hi rafael i love the job you did on this i have one of these and wondered what you charge to do the same job but in back and grey and with a copy of the original bat logo
Hi Rafael, I just wondered did you work with a mask or anything when sanding/sawing the original body sculpt? I'm going to do a custom of my own and was concerned about any toxicity from the dust?
realmente eres increible en gris y negro seve simple seve este azul maravilloso y en la capa las sombras que le hiciste genial a si si compraria este.eres un maestro.
I love this work how much would you charge to make a custom paint on a Mary Jane statue the one where she is sitting down with the Spider-Man custom on her back? I was looking on doing some black and yellow on her let me know thank you
Haha got scared when ripping the fabric and sawing off the arm. The grey and blue classic Batman looks much better than the original bought. Looks more ripped too!
Awesome, you remind me of that old guy in Toy Story that fixes woody lol ONly younger and with an accent. Jokes. Great Work, I personally prefer the material with the arm pits corrected (Can't believe Sideshow didn't fix that themselves) but each to their own. Painted looks good too.
Love your videos! You are crazy talented! What are you using to smooth the sculpt out after you pulled the fabric off? It looks like a sand block, but it looks soft. Thanks in advance
Wooooooooooooow...this is AMAZING..loove this..you got some reeal talent man..keep the videos coming..by any chance are you located in the u.s?.. love your work.
right on man, that looks incredible. I feel so unproductive now - ive been working on my conversion for like 5 months, I need to get my act together lol
How much do you charge for your services? I would like to have some of my statues customized. Great job on the Batman piece - I hate the fabric. Imo fully sculpted looks much better.
Hi what primer is that you use as its colour is better to see flaws. What is the modelling putty in the tube ? This freaked me out at first but the result is dynamite..
Lee Newey the primer is SEM high build primer surface I like the beige color . The one in the tube is. Squadron white putty hobby shops carry it or online
Love your work, you learn so much! I curious where you got decal for the chest emblem? You printed it? If so what kind of decal paper do I look for?thank you.
Watching this conversion makes me appreciate the yellow and black symbol that much more Rafa. I Loved this video! Wow, tu eres in fenomeno en todo sentido de la palabra. So where are the videos for that NIGHTWING? LOL... ;-)
Shocked that some people do not appreciate these conversions!! He makes these things look 1000 times better in my opinion. Dude has some skill and seems to care a lot about fit and finish and detail. How could you not dig that? But each to his own.

Rafa you are one talented man. I always preferred the blue and gray batman to the black and gray. Awesome skills.

Amazing work. Glad to be able to witness Artistry of this caliber. We are truly fortunate that you share your talent- gracias. 👍🏼
How you made his face look is absolutely incredible, haven't even finished watching the video and I'm amazed. Great work dude!
Looks great. I think some added strech lines/wrinkles around the abs and ribs would really make the grey come to life.
Awesome your so talented! !
Always great work.
Wow, absolutely fantastic work.
I love watching you work. Your attention to detail is amazing another fantastic job.

100% better than the original release! The tall ear sculp looks like a Berni Wrightson Batman from Swamp Thing #7. Thanks for sharing your skillz!
Love everything except the sticker decal. Wish it would had been painted. Still amazing skillz!!
Beautiful blue color. Love how he darkened it up
What primer do you use? Love your content man. Been a big fan on my personal channel for a while.
SEM- high build primer
Well, I did learn one thing. "You, sir, are awesome"!
p.s. No school like old school.
Looks WAY better now, way to go, Rafael! I hate mixed media statues, anyway.
Un increíble trabajo el tuyo. Felicidades Rafael.
You did an excellent job with this project. I'll never be able to prove it, but I suspect that someone at Sideshow saw this video, and decided to redo their statue in this color scheme. Again, well done man.

Hi Rafael

INCREDIBLE work! I would love to have this done to mine. Is that a possibility? Do you do this for hire?
your videos are great and teach a lot. I never would have thought to use silly putty. I can't wait to try it thanks!!!
thank you my friend

Hey !
I've got a batman, and his shorts weren't made from authentic leather, they've started to loose color. I'd like to know if it can be painted ?
hi rafael i love the job you did on this i have one of these and wondered what you charge to do the same job but in back and grey and with a copy of the original bat logo
Hi Rafael, I just wondered did you work with a mask or anything when sanding/sawing the original body sculpt?
I'm going to do a custom of my own and was concerned about any toxicity from the dust?
I did not but I would recommend to do so , I actually do now as some particles are in there that you don't even see :-)

Excellent! I definitely wouldn't have the guts to take one of those statues apart and redo it. ;)
Great work...
Your a bad ass artist! Love your videos
Keep up the great work
Haha got scared when ripping the fabric and sawing off the arm. The grey and blue classic Batman looks much better than the original bought. Looks more ripped too!
Why did you have to remove the cool looking fabrick? I like it!!
Superb as always
Awesome, you remind me of that old guy in Toy Story that fixes woody lol ONly younger and with an accent. Jokes. Great Work, I personally prefer the material with the arm pits corrected (Can't believe Sideshow didn't fix that themselves) but each to their own. Painted looks good too.
Seeing the end results I wouldn't believe you if you said you cut the left arm in half. Amazing work.
Love your videos! You are crazy talented! What are you using to smooth the sculpt out after you pulled the fabric off? It looks like a sand block, but it looks soft. Thanks in advance

Sideshow is releasing it like that now.
