Welcome back brother...glad to see you back on the tube. Look forward to seeing this in action at some point. Keep it therapeutic. Awesome work as always keep up the good vibes. I'll catch you on the next one 🍻
Just to let you know that video had no sound when I played it but still gave it a thumbs up cos that Outlaw speed shop body looked great. Glad to see your having fun & still building cool cars! 🛠️
I may not be an rc guy but always love your content the rc bodies look pretty cool. glad all seems to be going well for you. looking forward to your next vid
That turned out great. I used to race RC with my brother and father in a local group almost 30 years ago now. My father ran cars, and my brother and I ran trucks. We had an early version of the Midnight Pumpkin and the Clod Buster. I'm amazed at the advancements made in the hobby over the years, but it's well out of my price range at this point, beyond a ready to run off the shelf item if the urge ever struck.
Cool, good luck with the races!! Nice thing about the Traxxas is most things interchange. I went through a lot of wheel bearings racing on carpet, lol.
This is perfect . I’ve been looking for a full body shell to run in the drag bandit class. Ima build a nasty 2 pole drag car prep foam tires. 🔥🤞🏽 thanks for the great content !
That's cool I got me a 64 impala. I really like it, and I got back in 21. Not only that I have a speed boat, and a 4x4 slash. My mom has the smaller 4x4 slash.
@@OutlawSpeedShop2001 ohh i know the feeling, i was in a pretty dark place with no inspiration for the hobby for awhile but since im able to think its nice to be back at it!
Great video like how you did stuff and then explained it all. Do you think you could have got your exact need wheel base length by doing the bandit motor flip to being mid mount ? Just grabbed a bandit myself to mess with now you got me thinking about a bandit build for my local street track.
Lol I fill ya in the money part I got the sr10 if I’d knew about the bandit I’d went that way for sure but money will fix all that’s haha thanks for the info on skunks channel I’m going to watch it all I need to know how to do the motor esc set up thanks for sharing buddy ..toppy
My favorite build of yours, and of course the MudBOSS. One of these days we’re going to get you to New Jersey for the Dirt Oval Nationals, you’d have a blast 🏁🏁🏴☠️🏴☠️ Perhaps some day you can give me content creation lessons. Lol
It’s a 2wd buggy class. And outside on the looser dirt the wider arms helped with traction on the corners. Most guys(myself included now) run an associated 2wd buggy
Getting beat by Bandits in a B6.2D???!! Something seriously wrong there. That's like buying a new Hyundai because you keep getting beat in your used Porsche. Have you done a complete rebuild on that old AE? Seems like there is something wrong with the car mechanically. Like a blown diff, or a bad bearing, or worn out shocks... something. Also the reason why your 22 5.0 didn't feel right, is probably because your ball diff was too loose. So the car was darting left and right, instead of tracking straight. Ball diffs need to be a LOT tighter than people think. Especially noobies. Take some of that foam you cut for the front bumper, or better yet, buy some Yoga Block foam, and cut yourself a battery spacer to shove in the back of the battery tray to fit your shorty pack. You can also use the two screw bosses on either side of the battery tray mid chassis, to mount an elastic or Velcro strap to hold the battery in. Also, for building gear diffs, use 1up Racing Grease, makes rebuild times longer, and keeps the diff more consistent between runs. Use the 1up Gold for the thrust bearing, and 1up Pink for the diff balls. Also use a captured thrust bearing kit. Makes things way smoother and easier, and limits wear on the out drive cup from the thrust balls using it as a race.
in 3 of my surrounding tracks everyone changed to bandit for some reason as well, podium are all bandits, veteran all changed from 22 5.0, B6.3 to bandit which blew my mind, logically thinking the AE and TLR kit would be great platform but thats not the case here
@@MRZENJI215 the only thing that makes sense here, is that the rear motor design, pro squat geometry, and flexible tub chassis are more forgiving for this kind of racing. It still makes no sense though.
RUclips was being funky, seems ok now. Not sure what the deal was
Go back to 1 64 diecast!!!!!!!!!!

Great to see you back making videos bud! I followed for the die-cast but that's really cool and I can't wait to see you race it!
Looking good! Glad to see a video again. I'll have to stop by and watch some races one of these nuts!

I really like how you present the way you show your process, I’ve been building a bandit lately just got it to about 65 moh
Super cool, I'd sure like to see one of your creations buzzing amongst competition!!👊👍
I hope to do just that soon

Used to race off-road trucks and on-road cars back in the early 90s.
Very cool, lot of time and work . great job . Awesome car

hope your doing well buddy! love these different videos!!

Nice - I am finishing a non racing Sand Scorcher - next up is an HBX Hellbound I got for few bucks and maybe my B4.2
You basically built a rustler.not trying to be an A. looks good 👍 I might do the same.
Very cool. RC vehicles are not my cup of tea per say, but THAT was very interesting content. Looking forward to another video with this content.😎

What all part numbers did you use?
Hey you have an update? If you have a build list of appreciate it.
Hello
Did you end up cutting the drive shafts?
Very awesome rc bro
What front and rear arms did you use slas , rustler ? You didn't say I know the turnbuckles are slash
I went with slash on all four corners
@@OutlawSpeedShop2001 do you know body options and who has them
@@madmustangrc214 if you go with the traxxas rear arms then you need a wider body. Anything 10” works. SharkRc has the best selection

Have you tried slash components only in the right side for offset?
❤ thanks that's a great idea I'm gonna try that

Sweet!!!
Do you have a build list?
😯🔥🔥🔥😎👍👊
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It’s saying no video available
Hook up a go pro to the Chassy that would be kool af
So you guys run slash arms in the buggy class?
Why not just have a truck based class?
Seems like it just becomes a LCG and SWB slash this way

OK, not a Hot Wheel, but cool. Looks like you are having fun and that's what is important. now go out and tare up the track.

Why didn’t you just get a rustler you wouldn’t Need axles and arms and bearings and steering blocks carriers it’s the same car but wider
Because most SS classes have to be buggy chassis. Not sure if Rustler is considered that.
No worries the chassis is the same on both cars the one different is the box art and those parts
@@EZ4U2Say11 but the slash and rustler arms aren't the same length lol. Slash uses the nitro 2wd arm widths.
