Outstanding insight, massively appreciated Vince, cheers bonny lad
Amazing interesting footage. I personally would have preferred it without the music so you could hear all the sounds, but that’s just me. It’s heartbreaking we have lost this industry. Thanks for sharing ❤
Cheers for this.
Closed our own pits to import coal was a crime a great industry gone. 🇬🇧⚒️
My.Dad was an Alcan man after the army... any Alcan footage?...
Really good video and good footage. It looked a clean mine compared to some. Thanks for sharing.
Should be still going
🏴⛏️Good video . Just a shame we have now lost a great industry .⛏️
great to see, went down a few times on mines rescue training
Nice. Those lower levels flooded would you say?
My cousin Jimmy Wakenshaw worked there till it closed thanks to Thatcher.
Looks sad. Cheers from Pennsylvania Anthracite Coal Country... what's left of it anyways.
The miners were the best bunch of men I ever worked with
I agree.......I miss working downstairs.........most the mines I worked are all closed now
