hey everyone welcome back to my channel! today we’re going to be checking out an internet community that we surprisingly haven’t covered on this channel yet. i think we’ve dabbled with people who teeter on the line of being an alpha male but we’ve never actually looked at the community dead on before so I thought it was about time we checked it out. what made me want to check it out now was i noticed a massive influx of alpha male content in the past few months (maybe you have to) on every social media platform possible whether it's podcast clips on tik tok, videos by alpha male influencers on youtube or inspirational alpha posts on instagram- it just feels like lately you can't escape them and their getting more and more out of pocket with their "hot takes" lmao.
SO i thought it would be interesting to look at older alpha male content on the internet and compare it to what is trending right now to see if their values are the same and if not, what really changed. it’s so weird to me because I watch a female self help RUclipsr and she talks about doing better for yourself and working on yourself to be who you want to be, and then I see this alpha male stuff and I’m like, why is male validation so dependent on female degradation? Like why don’t you work on yourself just for yourself ?? Why is it always to either put women down or for women attention and then criticize those women for either paying attention or not paying attention to you? Weird.
I feel like most men don't know how to be positive without putting someone else down. Even when they compliment a woman they like it's usually "You're prettier than other girls" or "You're not like other girls." And when they are positive about themselves they tend to put down other men to make themselves better (i.e. "At least I'm not working at mcdonalds/not a deadbeat dad/etc").
Ikr! They claim the redpill and mgtow movement are for bettering men even if they have to refrain from relationships and women. But they won't rest until they mock every woman who is single and call her a cat lady with expiration date?
Women have been called spinsters to crazy cat ladies ages ago, we're chill with it. But these guys seems to be extra happy making fun of women for simply living. Sounds like they're the ones really not confortable with their relationship status
In typical male upbringing, it is taught to boys that in order to be a " * real man* " a big part of achieving that involves winning this sort of competition where they need to be better than others, as though a person's value as a human being derives from being better than others at something. This is one of the reasons why guys can sometimes be so competitive about things, and why they might feel threatened when losing at something. Also, they may project this onto girls or women that they are interested in by assuming they operate in a similar way. So when a guy under this mindset tells her she's "not like other girls," this is why he thinks he's complimenting her and is surprised if she doesn't like being told that.
That’s the inherent nature of males. Insecurity. That’s why they’re so aggressive and irrational.

i just love how these self-proclaimed "alpha males" with a sigma male grindset are simultaneously the most sensitive people you'll ever have the misfortune of encountering.
It's quite sad though honestly. I feel bad for a lot of them cause they're genuinely insecure and depressed men who are finding this advice and eating it right up because they're desperate for something better. Their insecurities don't actually die out, it just becomes masked under a fake veil of confidence aaaand that's basically the road to narcissism

there's an absolutely amazing video of Brittany Renner absolutely destroying the fresh and fit bozos on their own podcast. they were saying something along the lines of "guys should be wary around women like you" and she's like, "what kind of woman am I? since you say 'women like me'" and the guy just starts floundering, can't look her in the eye, trying to backtrack, and ends up saying she (and women like her i guess) aren't special, and she goes, well what makes you special? and then even trashes on their set saying it's clapped, I have never felt so much joy come out of a fresh and fit clip ever
That clip is the only thing I know about fresh and fit and ai didn't realize how lucky I was until now.
I'm not really a fan of Brittany Renner, but she seems exactly like the kinda girl both Fresh and Fit would go for (and that Fresh would swear up and down isn't a gold-digger, just like the one from Philly) so I don't really feel like they're in a good position to judge.
They always talk about going after high value girls and whatnot but I've never seen them voluntarily interacting with what most people would consider a high value woman... They choose to target less educated Insta models rather than educated women who would rip them to shreds in a heartbeat.

The sad thing was, he actually did have some genuine good self-help advice but he also spouted this alpha male bullshit in every single video. Always spouting about how men have to behave in the most masculine ways. No, not just confidence and kindness and beta stuff like that, of course. Those are the good parts of masculinity. But instead, he had to add stuff like letting your male aggression (?) out, dominance etc to the list. He had apparently declared himself to be part of "20% of men who attract 80% women in the world". Where do they pull these stats out from? Probably out of their ass, I guess. Pretty much defying the chance of any guy who is not COMPLETELY masculine (like not just basic good stuff about being a man, no, like literally behaving like a caveman acting out of instincts by their descriptions) of being a real MAN. And just more shit about this social hierarchy that he believes in and how men have to constantly compete with other guys etc etc. It's already a waste of time that I spent this much time telling about his lunatic ideas.
Now, I saw some people criticising these kind of people and they would always just comeback with "you're just coping" and more stupid stuff. But something that did make me think a little was, "atleast he gets girls, unlike you." That was something I had not thought about. Well, the "self-improvement" guy I was talking about wasn't in a relationship but he would post pics of him with different girls in his thumbnails when he would talk about dating advice or just girls in general. I first thought that maybe it's just girls he met in a party but sometimes the pics were not of a party. "Maybe he payed them?" That's what I thought next but after looking more into this redpill content on youtube, I learnt that there are SO MANY WOMEN who actually believe into this shit too. These are the kind of women who get with these people and because of them, this misinformation that the bullshit these people speak actually works keeps spreading among young men.
The guy I found was actually in some ways better than most of redpilled content creators but he also believed in this bullshit and was also spreading it. It's a disappointment because some of his advice are actually very good and I would even recommend him if he wasn't like that.

Fun fact redpill is only one of the many subset of the manosphere. And if you think they're extreme you haven't even seen nothing yet. Redpill is rather a teaching of female psychology and self improvement.
I've been studying them manosphere since i was a teen. Its been very helpful but you need to have a strong mentality and understanding if you want to dive on it. Cuz the other subset is just suicide fuel and can make you question everything about your self. Just stay on the redpill and alpha side they pretty sane compare to the others and their teachings is pretty applicable to ones life.

No, it makes sense for them to be straight because the opposite of love is not hate, its indifference.
Let me explain: gay men have no reason to hate women because sexually to you we are indifferent since you're not attracted to us. Straight men however who desire to be with women but are either always rejected by them or had bad experiences with women start to resent us because of the rejection and that resentment turns to hate. Their ego gets hurt and they try to insult you or degrade you to feel superior. That's why incels are some of the most misogynistic men on the planet, at some point they tried to get with a woman, they failed and they turned their disappointment into resentment and then into hate and then projected it to the entire female population.
I also hate it when I see “fatherless behavior” comments under videos of girls dressing up/ having fun etc. Do they even realize the irony of such statements?? In the end they’re just blaming the absentee father who didn’t take any responsibility.
Hmm I think the pattern is rather that women have no autonomy and everything they do has to be connected to something a man does. But its just a way to ideologically argue for the "traditional familiy" and the strict control of women by men either their husbands or their fathers.

What's wrong with showing your sexuality? Even if I don't have a father, so what? Being fatherless doesn't mean anything. I have a caring and loving mother to looks after me that tries her best to support me. My father died when I was 8 years old from having low blood sugar and all I have is my mom and I cherish her. These guys are really insane!

Ooor being normal is beautiful and vice versa! Beauty is so subjective, and many women and men find women’s bodies post-childbirth to be even more beautiful than before. The opposite is also true, so yeah- everyone has aspects of themselves that are beautiful to someone.
But it isn't right or respectful to your partner to totally let yourself go once you're married or once you have kids and you think you have them locked in. How was that fair or right? Sexual attraction is one of the most important things in a healthy relationship. So to just refuse to put in the effort it takes to remain attractive to your partner and expect them to stay and stay faithful is a pretty s***** thing to do to someone you claim to love. This is why so many marriages end after kids. One partner stops putting effort into the relationship. It doesn't matter if you disagree with me it's the truth and someone has to say it and stop giving out relationship ending advice. It's just how reality is. You can pretend reality doesn't exist all you want but if your partner is no longer sexually attracted to you, your relationship isn't going to last much longer. My advice is good solid advice whether or not you agree with it.

Then apparently that was thrown out and instead of uplifting men they decided to tear down women. I thought it always was toxic as fuck. I wonder if this is the effect of these communities being online. Like, we know social media boosts inflammatory posts more than other posts because they increase engagement. I don't think it's the full story, but I wonder if this phenomenon means that in online self help communities that get big find their inflammatory content is the most watched, thereby insentivizing them to post that above everything else until the toxicity eats the whole community from the inside out. Online algorithms with profit motives make everything worse.

I was under the impression that alpha wolves don’t actually exist - the whole concept was debunked by the same scientist who established it in the first place.

The ending of this video really spoke to me, because if I’m being honest about six or seven years ago I was thiiiiis close to becoming an incel myself. I had just gotten out of a brief but intense relationship where I was a lot more codependent than I realized, and yeah when she was single and started dating new people, I took it completely personally and internalized it as if my life had ended. I wrote really toxic songs about it and blasted them on the internet. I basically cyber stalked this person, who did nothing wrong. It’s by far the worst chapter of my life to look back on. Something clicked after a long time being miserable where I realized I was the only one making the situation negative, and I funneled that energy into getting fit, moving out of my parent’s house, and doing a TON of self reflection to weed out the toxicity. I think up until that time I had always viewed being in a relationship as something essential to me, so I learned to get in touch with what I liked about myself and found a way to make money and be successful in the small town I moved to. And lo and behold, I’ve been in a relationship for well over two years now, the longest in my life, and we’ve supported each other through some really tough times while still maintaining our own boundaries and agency. It’s tough, there are still things to work on (I cooked us dinner this week for the first time in way too long) but yeah long story short, these guys find themselves in the wrong echo chambers. Being toxic doesn’t have to be your whole identity, and it can change if you want it to.

I sorta feel bad for these types of guys in a way. There’s two ways in which someone like this generally happens, either they were hurt and turned this way or they were brought up this way.
Either way, I think it all comes from a big place of insecurity, same thing with bullying. The whole concept of being an “alpha male” is super insecure in itself, because why should you care what someone thinks of you? Just be your own person and be kind. Instead they manifest this idea that they have to be the number one to feel any sense of fulfilment, it’s really ridiculous.
Also, to that guy that got banned from Tik Tok, he’s the biggest example of someone who hasn’t grown up and was probably hurt by someone in the past. Like dude, not every women is some blood sucking leach trying to take your money and soul, bro….for example I went on my first date not too long ago and as the guy I thought maybe I like had to offer to pay, she said no and she just payed for her meal and me for mine.
