Nobody loves the field snack in either Stardew vanilla or Expanded. But I can confirm as of yesterday that it is liked by Alex - ONLY liked by Alex. It really saved my ass because I'd forgotten to grab one of his loved items from the saloon, but I was able to craft a field snack on the fly after a mad dash to the wiki to see what other gifts would work.
