I am a HUGE Sig Sauer guy, but the Glock 43 is my favorite carry handgun. I still carry a Sig Fastback Carry 1911 appendix style, but in lighter clothing my G43 is great!
Just bought one also. It has replaced my G26 for every day carry. It feels better in my hand. I put the pierce extensions on all of my mags, and a pachmayr slip on grip. Feels awesome. Love this firearm.
I own the G43 and shield m2.0 both are too big for summer carry the handle sticks out on both I like to carry them on my side so if I move a certain way it prints the most comfortable and concealable pistols are the Ruger lcp2 and ec9s both are so slim them pretty much stick right to your body g43 shield and Walther pps m2 only good for fall winter carry when you can hide them better with a hoody jacket or coat I'm a small guy
Thing about g43's is they just work. Small, reliable, 8+1 with an extension and with a compact holster you forget you're carrying. As an SD weapon it's about as good as you get for EDC. Each to their own but my g43 does everything i need to and as Mike says, pull it out and it goes boom. What more does a person need on the daily?
Great Points. Reliability #1 for me. #2. Size-small everyday carry weight. It’s the perfect weight. I forget it’s on me, not like the Glock 19 brick. The G43 and the mag extenders are great and make this a G26 replacement for slim carry.
I just got my first glock a few weeks ago. A Gen 5 Glock 19 for my new carry gun. I love the feel of it and the trigger is great right out of the box compared to my m&p I was carrying. I run the Speer gold dots in mine.
Mike, I agree. My Glock 43 is my everyday carry. 2 mags with Taran Tactical 2 round for "no print" carry, 3 round for back-up mags. Just a suggestion to use Talon Grips on the gun and the mag extensions. Comfortable, no slick surfaces.
I agree. G43 is my choice as well. I carry with either an 8rd or 9rd mag locked in plus 1 in the chamber. Depending on what I'm wearing. And two 9rd mags for back up. Love Taran Tactical!
I have a 43, a 42. I am getting a 26 tomoro. I don't know if I am going to buy a 30s. My choice is going to be btw the 43 and the 26. I have a sig p238. So, I am not opposed to .380. I carry 10 rounds in my 43.
I just got a G43, and I'm cool with the 6 round mags. Mainly to keep that grip-frame short and concealable. Plus, in addition to IWB carry, I also need it short for pocket carry in certain situations. I agree with you. It's an awesome little pistol. Insanely reliable, super accurate, and is a pretty soft shooter for such a little gun.
Yeah. Because stupid-short grip frames are so compatible with competent, confident marksmanship in emergency life-or-death "defensive shooting" situations and its "better" to be armed "invisibly" with a completely "concealed" plastic pocket pistol than have a "bad guy" spot a properly carried and practical "combat" pistol and pick someone else to "threaten" if you're the type of person to "press your luck" going places where "statistically" you"re more "likely" to be "attacked". There's no benefit, common sense or practical reason to carry "open" at all. No "deterrent" effect at all, either. That's why cops get mugged all the time.
I carry the Glock 43 also. I am thinking about getting the +4 extension from the Glockstore. You can get the extension only for $24 or the magazine and extension for $49. That gives me 10 in the mag and 1 in the tube. I saw Lenny holding it and it looks very comfortable and fits nice in his hands. I have bigger hands so I think it would fit nicely. Does anyone have any experience with this one by chance?
So how does anyone know you're carrying period if you're carrying "concealed" and how often do "customers" ask a "retailer" what he or she "prefer" personally? Do you ask a car salesman what he drives? Or a waitress what she likes on the menu?
Mike I like this package you offered, the Glock the holster the grip extension and a box of bullets , I probly won’t be Abel to purchase until spring so, you should be hearing from me, I live in Alaska hope you can ship up here, it’s still America lol
Not criticizing your choice, but why not a 43x? It seems to me that after you add that extended mag, you’d be at a similar size anyways! Just wondering!
I just bought my Glock 43 2 weeks ago and I may be overthinking this but seeing the recoil spring assembly loose when I field strip it makes me feel a little insecure about carrying it. I admit that I don’t understand enough about the design and mechanism of this gun and firearms, in general, but my mind has me convinced that the assembly should not be loose at all. Would you all please help me understand this?
Self Peace I do know what you mean, when you seat the spring you fully insert it into the half moon step. When you strip it the spring is sitting on the upper step, this is normal as it seats itself when you put back together. Lenny magic talks about this in a video.
The spring will always be out of the 'half moon' cutout when you field strip it. Nothing to be worried about. Every Glock I own does that. I don't exactly know the reason why but that's just my experience.
Although I live in a shall-issue state, I don't (yet) carry. If/when I do decide to carry, I will carry a Glock 43. But that purchase will follow the soon-to-be-mine HK P30L, which will join my CZ75B SAO, all in 9mm.
Glock doesn't cerakote their US firearms. Some distributors do. Also, you can't see the nitride treatment...you're only feeling the park'd/phosphate finish on top of the treatment - which has been universally used on all Glocks for over a decade now - regardless of whether they have USA or Austria roll marks on them. Glock would never risk their name by using a non-standardized practice. Newbies get information like this...and then more Glocks are sold as a result.
TacRatt60 the hyve is $10 dollars less because they insist on selling without a extra power spring that it NEEDS. They continue to claim it doesn't but there's pages and pages of claims (forums and comments ect.) stating it malfunctions with the stock spring. Every other plus 2 on the market comes with a spring because of this. The hyve is nice but you will have to spend the "$10 less" on a new Spring to make it reliable which makes it the same cost as the Taran Tactical.
Hello Mike, My name is Michel Cernev and I am 67 years of age , from Australia state of Queensland and I have the money to buy one maybe two guns from you. Here we've got very strict law and is difficult to buy a personal gun for self-defense. To make long store short I like to buy one of your Glock 43 . Can you please tell me and give me some advice on what I suppose to do to make my dream come true. If there is any chance - We will be in business . Regards : Michel Cernev
Glock hasn't done Tennifer in years. Your 43 is Melonite. Its shit compared to Tennifer. Tests show it takes 63 hours in a salt bath to remove Melonite. It takes 650 to remove Tennifer.
Being "all amped up" and the likelihood of "fumbling" the handling of a deadly weapon while in an impossible-to-train-for real-world "emergency" situation "in the field" is exactly why guns designed, built and chosen by experienced and intelligent and responsible "shooters" for situations where "fumbling" is possible have and have had safeties "forever" John Browning invented "safety-less" semi-auto pistols for self-defense long before he "invented" the 1911. But in every case those defensive pistols were/are "pocket" pistols and were/are "hammerless" even if the hammer is "shrouded". In both cases to make "fumbling" the pistol or "pulling" it without thinking as close to impossible as possible. His "combat" sidearms? External safeties so a "bad guy" can't easily turn the pistol on its owner if during a "fight" the owner "fumbles" it. Glock fanboys who think an Austrian curtain rod manufacturer with zero prior gun experience or training was/is the "authority" on "combat" pistol design, function and operation when clearly "drop safeties" were a primary requirement crack me up. Huge anti-safety "shooters" for "defensive" carry pistols yet zero opposition to any and all other safeties on "offensive" firearms save the one and only and original combat sidearm ever "invented" by a lifelong gunmaker and inventor of all modern "autoloading" rifle/shotgun/pistol "systems" for everything from shooting pheasants to shooting down warplanes.
I’ve been shooting Glocks since 1988, never had a stock sight break. I put a set of tru glo on my G19 and Amerigo on my g43, they are nice sights but chances are I’ll never need them in a defensive situation.
You don't need to explain why you're carrying a gun to me. That is your business. But I'm guessing it has something to do with the eminent threat of homeless dudes and librals. Or maybe you just generally feel safer with a weapon on you. Who knows.
You are so boring....ya mean, ya actually use something that works 100% of the time, ya like the trigger from the factory?, ya like the sights from the factory? Man, you better step up your "mod for the sake of modding" game or else your channel is screwed. Seriously, I get it. People like to mod their guns... Nothing against modding, just nice to see an honest review. Good job, keep it up. I have a several Glocks, but not a 43 yet. Thinking about it.
👎Who the hell did you think you are and who the hell cares what you think? Get a real job. Just because you can make a movie who the hell cares what you think?👎
I love all guns and I proudly call myself a Glock fanboy. It’s a great platform and those that disagree are just wrong.
Used to be a hater. Own 5 now, one is the 43
Great video great gun I own 15 Glocks and yes I am a Glock fan man simple, reliable and they just work.
Love my Glock 43! My first gun ever.
Kate Dillon you chose wisely!
Do you use appendix or OTB ? And why ?
Good job choosing a g43 Kate
I am a HUGE Sig Sauer guy, but the Glock 43 is my favorite carry handgun. I still carry a Sig Fastback Carry 1911 appendix style, but in lighter clothing my G43 is great!
Have tried many different brands and all ways come back to the glock
Just bought one also. It has replaced my G26 for every day carry. It feels better in my hand. I put the pierce extensions on all of my mags, and a pachmayr slip on grip. Feels awesome. Love this firearm.
I find a lot of people who complain about the sights can’t shoot worth crap anyway!

I did a ton of research and went to the gun shop with an open mind. Walked out with a Glock 43. It just felt perfect.
Thing about g43's is they just work. Small, reliable, 8+1 with an extension and with a compact holster you forget you're carrying. As an SD weapon it's about as good as you get for EDC. It's my EDC too. I have the Hogue beavertail grip on mine. Factory night sights. I love it.
I agree with u the glock 43 is my carry choice too
6 bullets is just not enough
@@charlesdrew5844 which is why you can add more
You can add more rounds but honestly speaking.... a Ccw is designed to stop a threat not engage
@@JohnSmith-zq6zy true. I just let people do them. I carry a 19 or G45.
Shep 24 I’ve been meaning to check the g45 out.... then again I’m drooling over the new gen 5 mos

I recently picked up the Gen 5 19..have been shooting winchester white box with no issues, and Sig V Crown hollows for EDC.
Mike, I agree. My Glock 43 is my everyday carry. 2 mags with Taran Tactical 2 round for "no print" carry, 3 round for back-up mags.

Good choice. I carry a shield with no thumb safety. It’s cheap and reliable. I like The Glock triggers too.
I have a 43, a 42. I am getting a 26 tomoro. I don't know if I am going to buy a 30s. My choice is going to be btw the 43 and the 26. I have a sig p238. So, I am not opposed to .380. I carry 10 rounds in my 43.

jeff lawrence We sure can ship to a dealer in Alaska not a problem!
Wonderful!! I think I just found the website! You folks are in Westville NY right?
The one thing I don't like on the Glock 43 is the trigger. It's easy to get your trigger finger pinched when firing.
Warburg2 , I had the trigger pinch problem with the Ruger LCP2. G43 is perfect for me. It’s important to test drive pistols before purchasing.
I use LCP2 and would like a 9mm. I`m looking at Ruger security, Sig 365 and the 43 you showed. I like them all.....
Do you sell trigger discipline?
Does the plus 2 affect the factory spring with any reliability issues?
Not criticizing your choice, but why not a 43x? It seems to me that after you add that extended mag, you’d be at a similar size anyways! Just wondering!
AJ Wood the 43x wasnt out then! but Ive since removed the mag ext because I was printing too much in summer.
I agree with everything you said. My first carry gun was a sig p938. I'm up to 4 glocks now and will sell my only sig since I just got a 43.
Guys like me me as well 4 glocks gen 4 19 gen 5 19, glock 26Glock 21 plan on grabbing a 43 to see how it carrys compared to my 26

It depends what your definition of loose is....but your correct there should be some light pressure holding the spring assembly in place...

1:47 finger off the trigger. Trigger discipline
I love my G43.
Good job. Thank you.
The HYVE +2 would be something to look @.
I had never heard of them, just looked them up, they look pretty nice.
The HYVE fits the contour of the grip better but the TTI comes with a stronger spring! Both are nice and the HYVE is about ten dollars less.
TacRatt60 the hyve is $10 dollars less because they insist on selling without a extra power spring that it NEEDS. I carry a critical defense load in my 9mm 43.
If u get a glock 43 +2, why not just get the g19?
The 43 is still thinner and much lighter....I do own a G19 there very nice as well.
@@performanceshootinginc.1625 makes sense. Thx for responding.

Replace the mediocre Taurus with a legitimate pistol.
It's called manual safety lol
Walther PPS M2 all day
Durhamite77 this was my second choice, but no gun dealers in WI have them for rent which is a shame because they would probably outsell the Glock.
carry the 19 especially wearing that parka or is it you that’s fluffy.
EVERY weapon has a “safety” being the person themselves.
Glock hasn't done Tennifer in years. Your 43 is Melonite. Its shit compared to Tennifer. Tests show it takes 63 hours in a salt bath to remove Melonite. It takes 650 to remove Tennifer.
