Many videos are of the other ships in the locks parallel to our ship.
Notice the large ships higher in the distance, particularly the container ships. They are Panamax bigger ships going through the newer, wider locks.
Amazing how the very heavy lock gates operate. Notice when the locks close that the handrails raise so that the workers can cross the canal.
Fascinating videos of how the mules function to guide and position the ships. See how the mules travel up/down the slopes and also how they switch tracks for guiding from the opposite side of the pier.
Very friendly canal workers who enjoy waving to the tourists.
