Jacob looks like a kid who received his dream present on Christmas when he saw that he was getting a wand, even though he knows he can't use it for magical purposes, since he is a muggle
Newt is weirdly talkative in this scene lol. And I love how his face lighted up when Lally mentioned Tina and how amazing she is and he's like "Yep that's my girl were talking about"
The fact that Jacob accepts the wand even though he knows it's fake is so cute.
i have the feeling it's not a fake one and tha he will be able to cast some spell with it.
@@magnezon1 some think it's actually Salazar Slytherin's wand because he could put it to sleep with parseltongue, and they were both made of snakewood.

To be fair he has to deal with lots of dangers and weird stuff giggle water definitely helps
you know what they say, you get a bunch of misfits of different qualities, you get legends

Im really crushing on theseus scamander (callum turner) on an unhealthy level. I find it weird because usually it's chris evans or henry cavill who people go after but I'm here, simping for callum since forever 😍

I like him a lot too. Did you notice all the time Newt was introducing someone else, he's in the back, straightening himself up thinking he will be next? 😂 And then when there's nobody else to introduce, he fixes his tie and Newt moves on and doesn't even mention him.
C'mon Warner Brothers, give this captivating series one more chance to wrap things up - and promote it as such....💗
I know this opinion isn't popular, but they REALLY need at least one more (and preferably 2 as was the original plan) to give some satisfactory closure to this. We still need that epic duel between Albus and Gellert, and the one in this movie wasn't it. Hire an actual, honest-to-goodness screenplay writer to adapt JKR's writing to something usable for film. Jo does great at exposition in novel form, but that doesn't translate well on film.
Also, again perhaps not a popular opinion, but WB needs to hand Depp a blank check and beg him to come back. Listen, Mads was great and all given what he had to work with, but Depp lived and breathed that character and brought it to life. The fact that Ezra and Amber are still on the payroll and Johnny isn't...that's the REAL crime of Grindelwald. Someone needed to say it, may as well have been me.
This scene plus the scene where Newt rescues Theseus is what makes this film so amazing, the comedy is priceless, I especially love Jacob in this scene, the pan and the Niffler is what pulls it off for me, as well as Theseus at the end 😂
Tina’s unavailable? I don’t think she’d refuse the offer if her own sister is with Grindelwald...
Tina actually was not invited. Dumbledore put this group together, and he does not know who Tina is. Jacob is only there to act as an audience surrogate, to deliver exposition.
Well, it’s been a while since the last movie, and quite maybe it’s a chance of her having given up hope/being depressed over the situation and perhaps she’s maybe try to find another tactic through her work and again just maybe want some distance from the people that were connected to/remind her of what happened to her sister EH?

The official story is that the actor couldn't make the filming because of pandemic/scheduling conflict
It was actually revealed she got a long-term covid and was able to shoot only few scenes
This was one of my favorite scenes from the movie. Teddy the Niffler just can't seem to keep his hands off anything.

J: She ain't kiddin'. *places niffler onto frypan*
T: So, this is the team that's gonna take down the most dangerous wizard we've faced in over a century: A magizoologist, his indispensable assistant, a school teacher, a wizard descended from a very old French family, and -- a muggle -- baker -- with his fake wand.
J: Hey, we got you too. And his wand works. *takes a shot of gigglewater*

They tricked Grindewald by having no plot.

Things that didn’t go precisely the plan is precisely the plan.
Yeah the series isn't without its flaws but it's quite enjoyable and miles better than the Cursed Child. It still saddens me they canceled it.

Hey Warner Bros. If there’s even seconds of Amber Heard in Aquaman 2, we won’t be watching it in the cinema. It isn’t fair you remove Johnny even without proper evidence and even after the Verdict Amber gets to keep hers?

I don't think he was flirting with her in this scene. He didn't flirt with her during the rest of the movie so I think he just didn't like being ignored here.
I'm looking forward to watching the legendary duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 4 or 5 🥰
WWII and the Dumbledore v Grindelwald showdown is the only part of the story anyone was actually interested in.

Are you sleeping under a rock. Everything you said is false. Worst movie of 2022 (Top Gun was so much). It was April 2022, the pandemic was ending people just aren’t interested which is why the second movie did terrible in 2018. There’s no 4th or 5th movie because it did so bad

To be honest,
The new Grindelwald's actor was 100 % more fitting that Jonny and Collin Farell.
Collin and Johnny are both excellent actors, there's no denying that.
But the new one; he has this aura, this vibe that exudes of what Grindelwald's character should portray in a the movies.
Hmm, look at the company with a franchise where they thought it best to cut ties with someone accused of being an abuser by a tabloid yet decided to keep the actual abuser (with so much evidence showing she was the physical abuser) in another of their franchises. Pass; double standards.
Don’t ever judge the movie based on behind the scenes things. Besides if you allow this to fail then you won’t be giving them a chance to redeem themselves and be able to potentially rehire Johnny Depp and write the wrongs that they did here :-)

But Remember that if you’re refusing to see it because of #JohnnyDeppIsMyGrindelwald Then please remember that this movie needs to do well so as to give Johnny the chance to actually come back in the Later movies, For the actor who played MacNair The executioner was re-casted for prisoner of Azkaban and then came back for order of the Phoenix. The bottom line is that if #FantasticBeastsTheSecretsOfDumbledore Doesn’t do well, And they don’t make the remaining two movies,then Johnny definitely will never be back as Grindelwald!Plus you also have to remember that it’s about to be a new company with new people over seeing it, So as such you were technically not paying that company and are actually giving more of a chance than not having him actually return. Especially depending on what may happen with the results of his trial that’s going to be happening shortly after the movie comes out, the new people taking over Warner Bros. right before it comes out……
Also remember in regards to her that she doesn’t necessarily get a whole lot of money from this, as well the fact remains that as many people have pointed out that she already has so much money that not supporting the series will not really change any kind of “power“ that you may have against her, and after all the series should not suffer at all because of her for Regardless of what you may think, nothing I repeat nothing will ever ever truly take away what a series overall truly means to you let alone other people, And again it’s not The series that’s the problem at all in any kind of way :-)
Also keep in mind that even though it’s not the best example they have at least one transgender person or someone who identifies themselves as “They” in the cast so much for her transphobia……

I don’t care about the movie, I don’t care who’s in the movie, I don’t care about Johnny Depp, I don’t care about Amber Heard.
My issue is that WB let go of one person do to something that was alleged and reshot parts so that person was not in the movie. When they let the actual abuser (her tapes have been available for quite a while) they do nothing.

This movie (the entire franchise) felt very much like Peter Jackson's Hobbit series.

Not Really I don't want to see him return back to the series instead I think Mads is the perfect Grindelwald. To be honest Mikkelson and Law have really great chemistry and it is easier to believe that Dumbledore and him are in love. I never really saw that with Johnny.
However, while I don't want to see Mikkelson replaced with Depp again, that does not mean I don't support Johnny for what he has been through and personally I really think that Mads should remain as Grindelwald for the next to movies.
