I love the way Jacobs says it. Like they're genuinely missing out on something 'cause they're wizards. He takes pride in being a muggle invested into the magic world. Love it! ✨️
"It's the room we require."
He said it? lol
No way Jacob is a Muggle. Muggles can't see Hogwarts, least of all the door of the Room of Requirement appearing like that. 100% a squib
Yeah. I thought the same
Jacob was allowed access by not just by Dumbledore, but by the company he kept so I dont see why its a stretch of the imagination that a muggle in-the-know could access Hogwarts and any other charmed locations. Jacob was involved. The charms are for those who are are not.
@@motokid6008 Yeah I always assumed the muggle parent(s) of any half-blood or muggle born student would be able to visit the castle if they were invited to as well
@@PattmoreI think he is a muggle. I think the only reason he can see it because a wizard give him a pass and can actually see it.
@lilbigfan3782 yeah, like he's so exposed to the wizarding world so much, that he can now see it
How did he go from stylish suits and looking no more than 30 years old to eccentric eye watering robes and looking over 200 years old on the matter of a few decades. 😂😂😂
it's called bad writing, by an eccentric witch (well pretending to be a witch)
1945 would age anyone.
If I were 110 years old, I'd wanna be permanently in a robe too. Suits are uncomfortable.
Because between this film and HP it’s almost 7 decades, not just a few.
Love this movie
I do wish they hadn’t given up on this franchise. I was on board for the long haul and do not think it deserved the grief it received. Shame 😢
Have you ever thought what if you make something to give fans the newtina content you didnt in the thirth movie and make us happy and made up for your bad decitions on this movie that cost you a lot
Why is there religious symbols on the port key?
which religious symbol?
@@crimsonshadowx6 it looks like buddhist symbols not to mention the port key looks like those massive prayer wheels in Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries.
They aren't religious symbols. They're the qilin and scenes of the walk of the qilin, and the text on it is in English, just in a stylized text that's a little hard to read. The temple where the walk of the qilin takes place is in Bhutan, a country in the Himilayas in between China and India, so the portkey is obviously stylized after that country.
WB should apologize to JD and rehire him because he’s the only one who can successfully play Grindelwald.
Totally agree.
@@sameersambrani2535 I agree. But I don't think Mads Mikkelson is that bad.
@@kadindarklordhe was great I found

Jacob Kowalski: "it's like a three card Monty, it's a muggle thing"
Wizards and witches in the room: 😐😐😐
Dumbledore:😲😲😲
Dumbledore and his fascination for muggle things is typical and amusing.
"tell me...what exactly is the function of a rubber...duck?"
I love this moment, because it's the kind of things that truly gives depth to the character and also because it shows that for all of his wisdom, power, secrets, and regrets he is rather humble and "pay attention to the little things" unlike Voldemort and Grindlewald. It remind me of the scene in The Goblet of Fire where he nearly cuts his speech about the Tri-Wizard tournament to tell a joke to the twins.
and that's why jacob is so useful he has muggle knowledge, wizards don't and it can confuse them.
Dumbledore is half-blood his mother was a muggle
Arthur Weasley: 🤩🤩🤩
I appreciate that Jacob has been able to keep up all of these times and never got killed.
He is Us.
Plot armor is a thing in these assensine written movies
@@TheMajinTrunks Asinine, if you misspell a fancy word you look ridiculous, not intelligent. I can appreciate your opinion, but if you plan to be confrontational, maybe stick to words you know.
@@levilandes1719 asinine.
I would imagine he's just figured it's better to just ride the ride he's found himself on and enjoy himself when he can. Not to mention he's in love with a witch, whom he's helping to save, or trying too.
Arthur weasley would have a field day with jacob
I like how Dumbledore was amused by Jacob figuring it out. Impressed even.
Shame they didn't create a Muggle Wizard liaison office and put Jacob in charge.
He would have been brilliant.
I'd watch a series where the Ministry implements a Muggle Information Office. They mainly have wizard who talk to other wizards, but those employed talk to muggles on staff. They have a (very) few muggles on staff who help wizards understand what the muggle world is like. Then those muggles live as much of a normal life as they can, to then give Information to the Wizards.
The show is centered around a new muggle being shown the Wizarding World and the Ministry. Episode one is them being recruited and learning about the Wizarding World, episode two is orientation, episode three is getting used to everything. Then it grows from there.
i mean Jacob would be 76 during first harry potter book and we didnt really dive in to ministry stuff until 5th book so its quite unlikely that he would still be alive. additionally hes a polish imigrant in america so i doubt he could hold any place in english ministry either magic or muggle one
such an office probably did exist. I mean, who do you think informs the parents of Muggleborns about what's happening with their child, Hogwarts, Diagon Alley and how to access it, etc?
@@AMW1able That's in the books. When the muggle-born magical child comes of age, a Hogwarts staff member visits the home to deliver their letter and explain the situation. The ministry only has a hand in delegation of the issue to the school. Basically the ministry passes the problem off to the school.
this is interesting because on book 4 dumbledore confesses that hogwarts still has some secrets even to him. That one night he was looking for a restroom and found a room full of toilets that he never knew it was there. He then could not find it again. That was a nod to the room of requirement that would be discovered again on book 5.
I love how as an American he still uses the British term lol
He’s been adapting to the UK.🇬🇧
Because Newt used it all the time and he hung out with Newt so much.
The funny thing is all these wizards would probably get scammed by a 3 card monty and think it was magic when in truth it was a classic switcheroo.
In harry potter 4th book dumbledore said that when he was in search for bathroom he found completely new room which is the room of requirement. And he also said that he never visited that room before. How could he is in that room at his youth
He was giving Harry a hint about the da
the room shows hp diffrent depending on the seekers individual needs. it never looks the same
He had never visited that room full of chamber pots before, he didn't lie.
You know Albus, haha never tells the truth
Movies and books are separate timelines.
Hearing the Harry Potter theme song here gives me goosebumps....and reminds me of Hogwarts in HP days
😢😊
I was expecting the same to happen, oddly, it did not. I actually had to look up the specific musical piece for this scene (titled "The Room We Require"). Abracadabra, there are the goosebumps! I guess for this one I needed it to be just the music, no moving image to distract haha!
Please Warner, make the rest of the films,
2:04 Was Dumbledore indicating that the creature was in that box?
Yes, and No, he wanted to ensure that Newt took the wrong one. He knew that Newt WOULD take the ACTUAL case if he could. He also knew that if Newt showed up with a case that everyone there would assume that he had the real case since they were his creatures and direct most of their efforts in trying to capture him and the case. In truth, and as it turned out, the safest option was Bunty (who knew which case was the real one all along). In the end, he used Kowalski to indicate which case was the "real one" when he waived him off because everyone there would know and agree that Kowalski would be a terrible person to carry the real case primarily due to him being a muggle and not able to protect it magically. Newt seeing this, immediately went for that case, while Bunty just kept the REAL case next to her. I love that it was an extremely effective and calculated manipulation that only required a clear throat from him, and he simply just left everyone else to follow their instincts or instructions. I've always said Dumbledore should have been in Slytherin....
@@The2Khafre Dude I've been looking for some explanation to this scene for some time after watching the film. This is one I actually understood. Thanks so much!

When you realize that the room of requirement existing means that Hogwarts is actually an infinitely large castle on the inside with an infinite amount of rooms you will never look at the Hogwarts castle the same again.
Honestly it doesn’t surprise me in the slightest
And just like 3 card monty, the actual card you are looking for isnt actually in play.
Its a shell game rigged against the player, so the house always wins.
Eagerly waiting for part 4 ❤️

Jacob is the bravest, most open minded muggle that any wizard could meet. Having fought in a war himself, he was very useful when Dumbledore and Newt recruited him.
Ok ima go rewatch the movie again bye 😃👋
Love Jacob. ❤️
He's my favorite character.
Well I would probably say that it is quite possible someone has died playing 3 Card Monte since some individuals are very poor losers and many 3 Card Monte games are ran by individuals who cheat.
Api penuh bilik tu nampak familiar je. Tak cerita kat sesiapa. Mlm ayam bercakap. Jauh lebih ngeri dari sekarang.
This movie should have won an Oscar, just like the first one did. Hopefully Fantastic Beasts 4 and 5 win Academy Awards.
oh you sweet summer child...
Dumbledore is not supposed to know the existence of the room of requirements...
I'm sure he knows almost everything about hogwarts. Just bc he told Harry he had never seen it before doesn't mean it's true 😂 the man told Harry he saw himself holding socks in the mirror of erised he's a madlad
@@flamingarbre1284 and Dumbledore didn't lie technically he had never been in the bathroom in the Room of Requirement before But it states in the book that you need to walk up and down asking it for exactly what you need and Harry, Ron and Hermione did that three times I think Dumbledore omitted the full story after all he was telling it in a funny anecodate sort of way

Why 213 dislikes?
I would dislike it only so we could reach number 394
Hi
An easy way to save the lore (which isn't officially stated)
would be to say a student found the room for Dumbledore.
Dumbledore was OP and the room exists for others that need help, thus it never showed up for him before because he never needed help (except for the bathroom incident).
Akin to the blue shell never being accessible to the 1st place holder in Mario cart.
A younger student could have seen Dumbledore wanting the room and in desperation to help their really cool teacher spawned the room, because the student "needed to help Dumbledore"
Or, shocker, Dumbledore wasn't telling the whole truth. Because that definitely wasn't the case throughout the whole series. Oh wait... Or he was specifically saying he had never been within the potchamber room, and he couldn't find that room again. The Room of Requirement is several different rooms, not just one. Many people had found the Room of Hidden Things, but not the "real" Room of Requirement. It is stated that Dumbledore found the Mirror of Erised within the Room of Requirement, which means he probably had found the Room of Hidden Things before. He might not have known about that version of the Room of Requirement, but he obviously did know about some versions.

The thing you proposed was commented like 50 thousand times already on this video.
I was exercising restrain not to do that.
Although I didn't state that, to be fair.
@@Spoopball Well, first of all, most of the comments are about Jacob Kowalski or about Depp being recast from what I can see, so there definitely aren't "50 thousand comments" about it. And most of the comments about the room are only saying the very first part of my comment, that he wasn't telling the truth, which was mostly just a cop out joke. I don't see a single mention of the Room of Hidden Things anywhere here. And even though you claim there are "50 thousand comments" about it, you still posted your comment 6 months after the video was even relevant, so it seemed to me like you were just ignoring the comments anyways.

Whatsoever happened to "You can't apparate or disapparate from Hogwarts" . Man these movies are f**king up all that Rowling has written.
i mean technically they are not apparating or dissapparating. also in the 7th book the room created a pathway from Hogsmeade to Hogwarts on its own too.
@@tofu8676 Exactly my point. The room of requirement can at the most create a pathway but apparation and disapparation are still not possible within Hogwarts. Also in the movie, it is shown that both the Dumbledores protect Credence when the killing curse is fired from Grindelwald. While in the Goblet of Fire, Moody (barty crouch junior) clearly mentions that the avada kedavra curse cannot be blocked or intercepted by anything. You can dodge it but you cannot block it. Nor is there any counter curse. This movie is literally f**king up everything. Contradicting everything in the books.
@@sameersambrani2535 well you see portkey like devices like this and proffessor Hick's book are exceptions to the rule since they aren't necessarily appariting or disapparating on or off of Hogwarts's grounds.
@@g-forcemapping8454 Yes you are right. But I don't see the big bell thing disappearing. Remember portkey is something that can help you get from one place to another but it also comes along with you. In fact you need to grab or touch it to work and the portkey takes you along with itself. It doesn't stay in one place transporting or moving different people again and again.
@@sameersambrani2535 pretty sure harry blocked the killing curse twice on his own because Harry and voldys wands are connected. So taking the statement that it cannot be blocked isn't a cold hard fact. There are certain circumstances to which it can be blocked, although a rare circumstance. It's possible.
