And its not only apple that is doing that. its also said that samsung does the same, but my 2+ year old S7 is still smooth AF. Its just weird seeing people comparing a 200euro xiaomi with a S9+ for example and saying oh they are both as fast. Well... no.. They are fast NOW.... the S9 has better hardware than the average PC rig out there. If Samsung doesnt slow it down it can run smooth for YEARS before Apps become "too heavy " for it. Companies make them slow and with no removable batteries for a reason, and thats marketing... If everyone buys a S9 and keeps it for 10 years then Samsung will have a serious problem in their hands. Companies dont care for their old products , that doesnt mean their value or hardware is not there. Every company does that, some of them just make it more obvious. When Xperia phones where selling i remember Sony said at some point that they will only support new phones with updates for 18months after their release. Like " we will only care for the product for 18months" ... i am not an apple user, but honestly, every big company is the same.
I bought the POCO as well. I am very satisfied with this phone. The screen is not the best nor the camera. I do not care for the camera or a phone that is a house payment.

Look at the display, the poco has 1080p LCD while the xr has 828p and 326ppi and a LCD too but the xr seems to have the best colorful and vivid display!
The XR has a better quality display despite the f1 having a higher resolution. That's understandable at the price point. Can't wait to see what they do for the f2 or whatever they are going to call it. I use my f1 more than my note 9 and iPhone Xs max mainly for gaming. As i get a more consistent better performance during playing pub g with my poco f1 than my iPhone Xs max

Well I Had both but my main daily driver is Xr the Xr is Far Superior to the Poco F1,better build quality, more bright screen,faster internals, faster Nvme Storage better battery not by much :) and more Software support which is Essential for Security and Privacy and every Software update makes it like brand new,Iphones are Lag free Iphones dont Lag,Iphone is more FutureProof Thats way Iphones cost more than any Android phones,even if you get Android 730G snapdragon midranger it will hold up to the Poco but the Sd 845 will have upper hand in Gpu, for newer Games Speed Tests isn’t everything with each ios you have more performance :)

The Pocophones only Goal were high specs, so its provided at such a cheap price. But theres so much more that pushes the price: The Display, Build Quality, Software, Camera and Features like Ip67 and Wireless Charging. The Poco lacks behind on all of these aspects, and thats ok for the price...But its still not a flagship killer. Its just a really great midrange phone

The display on the XR is 720p with 326 ppi that's same as the iPhone 4Series it can't play RUclips videos in 1080 p but you can find an option to even play at 1444p but it just reproduces the colours wake up isheep.I too used iPhone 4S,SE Before upgrading to poco so I know what an iPhone is.This is my first android and I'm impressed

You gotta remember the very different versions of many of these games you’re running. Android versions almost always have far reduced graphics too run than iOS versions. You can’t really “test” in this fashion. Also - tracking/advertising built into the OS and settings? No thanks.
I'm not gonna knock Apple bcuz I DO think the software is GREAT, however I DO think they over charge for their phones, iPads, watches, MacBooks etc but what this video shows us is that there are PLENTY of GREAT options out there for MUCH less money.. I went from an iPhone X (2017) to a one plus 6t and so far I'm loving this phone, great features, great software and the price is right..

You gotta remember the very different versions of many of these games you’re running. Android versions almost always have far reduced graphics too run than iOS versions. You can’t really “test” in this fashion.
Also - tracking/advertising built into the OS and settings? No thanks.

I'm not gonna knock Apple bcuz I DO think the software is GREAT, however I DO think they over charge for their phones, iPads, watches, MacBooks etc but what this video shows us is that there are PLENTY of GREAT options out there for MUCH less money.. I went from an iPhone X (2017) to a one plus 6t and so far I'm loving this phone, great features, great software and the price is right..
