not really, because gravity. once you somehow manage to keep the cable from covering your screen, it has to form an arc behind and under the phone back to your head (god forbid you run the cable under your clothes, it gets even worse!). This shortens the cable length and thus is a big deal (the bigger deal the taller you are, and I'm personally on the huge side). Not to mention it bends the cable at the connector if it's not angled, making your headphones less durable. I get that jack at the top might be convenient in bed when your phone is charging, but if you don't watch stuff on your phone at night (I don't, personally), there are literally zero advantages to it.
Most Importantly! Not hassle like iPhone does.

when you are testing the multi tasking and ram go to poco settings and turn on "keep apps running in the Background"
Bro, its not the RAM management, its the battery saving feature of the pocophone. The phone will force close the background apps when its in idle. You can disable that feature or you can lock the apps on the task manager so that it will still run in the background
There are still stuff that miui closes, even if you do all that, like vpn.
It's called MIUI optimisation and it's in the developer options..

What about the issue of not working properly the edges of the screen on POCO? I bought one and it does not work as it should. Most part of the time it just doesn't respond to my touches. Is there a way to fix this? I read in a lot of places that is a common problem in pocophones.

My wife finances her IphoneX, I own my Poco F1 outright. For me on Android, I love it. It does everything I need and the battery just rocks heave use all day long. I'll stick with my paid for Poco.

The fact that this $300 potato with the 10 nm S845 is trading with the XS which is running on Apple's 7 nm A12 says a lot. I always thought Apple's hardware was impressive among its optimization. But what we are seeing here is clearly Android's hardware outperforming Apple. I still think Apple's optimization is better but Snapdragon have officially taken the performance crown starting with the S835. Honestly it was evident this was going to happen since 2016's S821 was already outperforming the A10. Hell androids have also become more efficient than iphones since the S821. The fact that phones like the pixel/S7 edge/LG G6 can push 6 hours of SoT at QHD+ is proof.

I'm using Pocophone F1, this phone has fingerprint scanner option. It was running well, suddenly fingerprint scanner option vanished from the phone system. I tried to re-open it but this option also vanished from the phone settings, then I tried to install an app which supports fingerprint scanner but this app shows error by stating " no hardware for fingerprint scanner detected. sorry, you can not use this app". this ridiculous! what should i do?

The Pocophone has face unlock to, but you have to set the region to India.
And that faceunlock is made with an IR camera, rather a regular one so you should be able to unlock it even in the dark

FMA Amyar have you ever heard of optimizations? Gaming performance greatly depends on the gpu which androids have but apple has better optimizations and a better CPU which really doesn't help out gaming as much as the gpu does.

the poco doesn't struggle with background apps, theres a battery feature where it limits back-grounding. It can be switched off in the settings and it would probably hold the same if not more than the iphone

LEGEND GAMER audio is louder and crisper, camera quality was leagues better in low light and stabilization, as well as color accuracy and exposure, it was able to hold more apps in the background besides lesser ram, but yeah, the apps loaded in a second sooner, because it’s not like how the app actually performs instead of how fast it loads is what really matters or anything.

I know this comes a few months late, but I have some insights you could consider if you haven't already settled on a device. From my experience, going from an SD625 Xiaomi MiA1 to the SD845 POCO, not much of a huge difference. Yes, the POCO is powerful, but for my typical usage, I cannot truly say the MiA1's now dated SD625 is a terrible performer. I never noticed laggy performance and it was way too power-efficient. I could easily squeeze out a day and more, the phone never ran hot and for the most part, a great wonderful device.
That said, the POCO is a good upgrade. Turning off MIUI Optimizations helps in fine tuning some of these RAM issues. But I feel that the newer 6xx series (and possibly 7xx series) are more power efficient and reasonably great performers, and could easily stretch the 4000mAh battery of the POCO even longer. I'd say either choice is good. Though the SD845 does carry with it some bragging rights.
The multitasking issue is with the software not the hardware a custom rom can fix that

Not all of them though... iPhones are much stable and smoother than Android flagships. IPhones might lose in app opening matches but they almost always win in running those apps smoothly, with lesser crashes and better graphics. Android user here.

About the speaker part. Xiaomi has toned it down in the equalizer while apple has it locked fully up. You can turn the volume even more up

Fair points. I was referring to the speakers, cameras, web browsing, and multitasking sections, which were mostly iPhone wins or ties. But yes, in terms of apps/games opening the Poco very easily won. They just need to optimize better for multitasking and work on the software a bit.

I might be wrong but I think the issue for Android is not in the capacity of RAM whether it is 6 or 8 Gb. I used couple of Android phones and I noticed that almost any app closes by itself after sometime after you . Even if for example you open only one app and then minimize it after some time choose it from open apps tray and it is still going to open like it wasn't used at all.
In the minute 3:43 we can see that iPhone had a lag, what happened in there?
