This is from Phase One recorded in 2000, but never released. The track was later used live by Kid Koala to DJ/scratch on, and is available on Kid Koala's 2003 "Live In Montreal" album
@danzinnyman R u kidding, i thought this was a fake for gorillaz, didn't know about Kid Koala person, my bad, yeesh. I listen to this song a lot of times now
Jojo's Moderate Trip this is a remix of the song ‘Lonely Man’ which was a track that would’ve been a duet between Mos Def and Damon Albarn, but scrapped. This remix of Lonely Man is called ‘Routine’.
During phase 1 gorillaz featured on an album by an artist I can’t remember the name of. Their album (with a version of this track on it) was planned to be released until the record label releasing it was bought out. The new owner didn’t think the album would be profitable enough so it wasn’t released. Eventually the track was given to Koala to remix for an album only available at his live shows.
