Congrats boo. Continue to apply for scholarships. I don't know anyone from Shreveport that attended Spelman. Most Spelman students/alumnae I know from Louisiana are from the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area so put on for yo city.

Could you do a senior tips video? I'm c/o 2018 senior and i feel like i'm trying to put too much on myself to do before the year starts. I really need some advice on how to balance out those things such as applying for scholarships/colleges, & then working on schoolwork. I'd greatly appreciate it. I have a question, I applied early action and I was expecting to get my acceptance letter but instead I got a package that has a booklet titled “the spelman promise” and it had a piece of paper telling me more about spelman and it provided information so I can meet my counselor. I just wanted to know since I didn’t get my acceptance letter yet is this spelman’s way of telling me I’ve been deferred?
hey! no that isn't a deferral letter, they just send information packets. You will for sure know what decision you receive. Im wishing you luck sis :)

When I went to visit Spelman they told me they don't just look at your GPA they look at you as a all around student... my grades weren't the best my freshman year and since then I've been getting my grades together.. I wanted to know is that true and if I do a good personal statement will I have a chance of getting in
alicia blake they definitely look for a well-rounded student so if you are lacking in one area but doing really well in others, i think you'll be fine! good luck :)
