I just wound up having to do this too. After trying to contort myself to get that 3rd screw out, I decided to unbolt the whole blower unit. Five 10mm bolts and it was out pretty easily. It made swapping the resistor easy. Hope it helps.

Yea it was a pain in the back side. It's hard enough folding up and getting in the floorboard much less getting to that one. Hope the video helped.
